Chapter 39 Ice cream part 5

I looked around and there were ten tennis ball machines surrounding me. I watch as they fire...but i just stand there because i can’t dodge them nor fight them so i'll just tank it. I mean it can’t hurt that ba-aughh was the sound that came out of my mouth.

When one of the tennis ball’s hit my stomach...i got down on one knee and then two tennis balls hit my right arm okay now what. My arms hurt i got cuts all over my body and it hurts as hell.

But then i saw it...a glimmer of hope...Ren had thrown out a red potion!? Let's hope that it’s a healing potion. I ran to the potion that was now falling but i got hit tre times in the back with tennis balls.

I stumbled first but then i fell into a roll before getting my bearing’s back and running to the potion...i fell after a few seconds but i got hit four times in the leg before that. It hurt...it hurt so much.

And i just stood there but there's still a little hope if i can get that potion that might be healing. I crawled to the potion that by now had fallen and somehow had not broken. I got shot many times but after all that pain so had i managed to get a potion.

I picked it up, opened the lid and it broke. One tennis ball destroyed it. All my hope was lost i layed down and then crawled up into a ball. I mean why should i fight there’s no chance that i can win now.

After some time they stopped and Ren came down the stairs and then me.

“Why did you stop fighting?”. she said while having her arms crossed and locking down on me.

“Why should i fight?. There’s no reason i’d obviously lost,there was no hope, no reason to fight”. I said while still being crawled up.

“So instead of fighting to your last breath you just stand there and let the enemy kill you instead of fighting through the pain and keep fighting you decided to...give up why?”

I kept silent.

“Inazuma you gotta understand that sometimes you have no hope but that doesn’t mean you should stop fighting. You should create your own hope...plus it can be the deciding factor if you live or die.

Now, get to your room and think about what i said and get back in three days in this exact place.

I walked to my room defeated and slept. zzzzzzz
