[ Hakon ]
“How long have you been down there?”
[ Eric ]
“Since they took Tae and chained me up.”
[ Hakon ]
“What chain?”
[ Eric ]
“Oh right… He said they would vanish after an hour…”
[ Hakon ]
“So you’ve been lying there for hours.”
[ Eric ]
“Not like I could do anything else.” I said as I stood up and dusted off my clothes.
[ Hakon ]
“When they came here I thought they are after you. It really surprised me that they were after him.”
[ Eric ]
“So you knew about them and did nothing?!”
[ Hakon ]
“If I would do something against them we would have another problem on our heads and we have enough of them.”
[ Eric ]
“Got a question out of the bloom. Do you know anything about an unusually blessed person?”
[ Hakon ]
“I would say that anyone who is blessed is an unusual person.”
[ Eric ]
“Well… That’s true.”
He gave me an impossible quest. It’ll better be worth it… Exactly how unusual is that blessed person? Like Hakon said. Being blessed already makes you different… How different is that person from me? A special god blessed him? Or his tattoo is weird in a way? How am I supposed to know?!

Since it was almost night I just went to my almost-finished house since I’m only missing a few furniture and a toilet that I don’t know how will it work at all. I know I was asleep for a few hours but I felt so exhausted. All I wanted was a good sleep and time to think about how to find that special person.
There is no internet here so I can’t search and ask there. I need to do this old fashion way. Ask people face to face and hope that someone will at least tell something. When I think about it there are only a few people that might have that information. Someone who travels around the islands, someone like traders and I know one of them very well. I went early in the morning to the market to meet him.
[ Eric ]
“Good morning.”
[ Galmar ]
“Morning! Never saw you this early in the morning.”
[ Eric ]
“True, I’m not an early bird kind of person.”
[ Galmar ]
“I’ve heard about your friend. I’m sorry.”
With those words, he proved that traders not only sell goods but might as well information too. Since I know Galmar he might tell me it for free if he knows anything.
[ Eric ]
“Thanks… but I’m not leaving him.”
[ Galmar ]
“You want to pick a fight with Hakarl Clan? I know you’re blessed but taking on an entire clan?”
[ Eric ]
“You’re right. I can’t do that. At least now. That’s why I woke up so early just to ask you about something.”
[ Galmar ]
“Ask? What do you want to know?”
[ Eric ]
“Have you heard anything about an unusual blessed person? I know that all of us are unusual in a way but something about that person makes him stand out from all of us.”
[ Galmar ]
“Is there any other specific information about that person?”
[ Eric ]
“Sorry. That’s all I know.”
[ Galmar ]
“Okay… Okay. Let me think… There was a rumor in one city. There was a boy that had a blessed tattoo but every week it was different… Is that the person you’re looking for?”
[ Eric ]
“Sounds unusual so he might be that person.”
Galmar told me that he heard that rumor in the city of Noreka Clan. It’s a peaceful clan created only to unite villagers in case of an attack. He proposed to take me to the closest city that has a sea route to that place. It’s even further away than Sehus. I’ve been here in this world for a few months yet I still know so little about the terrain, clans, culture, and gods themselves.
I told Hakon about my new journey. He didn’t take it well but he couldn’t stop me and I’m totally understanding him. I’m leaving him alone after that disaster. Since I ended it he and all people in Dalir Village feel safe around me. And I’m sorry about it but there is one person that needs me right now and I need to get stronger.
Galmar left me right away since he didn’t have much time compared to me who needs to wait for seven hours for the ship to Noreka Clan to arrive. I had only one idea about how to kill the time… With good light beer! Or maybe with some sweet wine with some meat to eat. Oh yes! I already can feel heaven in my mouth! No! I should say… VALHALLA!
