We came out of the restaurant. The guard I know said that he will stop the fight if it’ll go too far or rather when I’ll go too far. We agreed for a fist fit to not kill anyone. Seeing that a few bystanders came closer to watch. We now had our audience.
[ Known Guard ]
“You may begin this friendly sparring match!” He said to inform the crowd about what was going on.
Of course, those meatheads were the first ones to charge. The first guy tried to punch me but I grabbed his fist and while rotating I hit him in the back with my elbow. The next guy aimed for my jaw. I ducked down and hit him in the stomach then kicked lightly in the face. That was enough to bring him to the ground.
The last guy hesitated to see what I did but it was too late to back down now. Since he was scared I took him lightly and I put my foot under him and pushed him. Once he landed on the ground I was going to punch him but stopped before his face when he panicly tried to defend himself. The crowd was surprised. The guard that knew me began to clap.

“Good choice that I didn’t join up with them. You might be even able to rival the Riglid’s Captain.”
[ Eric ]
“Him? Nah… While I think they aren’t that strong. The captain is much different.”
[ Known Guard ]
“Sounds like you’re telling that from your experience.”
[ Eric ]
“Almost. The first time I trained with him I could see that he was going easy on me and still beat me. Even my spell wasn’t enough. Right. Do you know if the Jarl of Sehus is in the town? I have to talk with him. Rather important news.”
[ Known Guard ]
“Well. I can check if he is free to talk. Is there a message you want to give him?”

“Tell him it’s about his friend Astvar.”
The food wasn’t the only reason I came here. Well… It was the main reason but I have to tell about Astvar’s death to the Jarl. Last time I just came here and killed cultists without a word of what happened in Dalir. I want to keep a good relationship with Pure Sun.
I let Dian roam around the city. While I was going to visit Berfor. When he heard that this is about Astvar he immediately let me in. I could see that he is busy. There was a lot of paperwork on his desk.
[ Berfor ]
“What is it? I have a lot on my head. Not long ago many people were killed and I’m still figuring out what really happened. So what is it? About Astvar?”
[ Eric ]
“I think that killed people are connected to what I was going to say.”
[ Berfor ]
“Connected? What do you mean?”
[ Eric ]
“Unfortunately… Astvar has been killed.”
[ Berfor ]
“He… He is dead… Who killed him? Who? I’m going to…”
[ Eric ]
“The guy responsible for that is already dead. I took care of him.”
[ Berfor ]
“Wait… Is his death connected to the death of our people? The same guy is responsible?”
[ Eric ]
“Not entirely. Astvar was killed by a blessed person and the people killed in Sehus died by my hand…”
[ Berfor ]
“You… you killed them?! Why!?” He shouted as he hit the desk with his fist making the towers of paperwork fall to the ground.
[ Eric ]
“They were responsible. Among your citizens there were cultists. Even among your soldiers. My god deemed it necessary to wipe out all the cultists.”
[ Berfor ]
“What cultists? Don’t talk nonsense to me!”
[ Eric ]
“Moon cultists, Mani followers.” When I said those words Berfor's face clearly changed. From angry to shocked.
[ Berfor ]
“Them… Them again? And this whole time they were under our noses? But why did they kill him? Oh… I know why. After all, he is a son of a great hero…”
[ Eric ]
“Right. Mani tried to kill as many people as possible to resurrect herself or something like that. The monsters in the sea. They are there because of her doing.”
