09: Staff plans
While everyone was resting, shacking up with each other, having private parties on their own, or reading the contract they had unknowingly agreed to, another meeting was happening in the Headmistress office
Felinia looked over the evaluations of the students and was angry.
She growled out to “James Gallen, can you please explain your recruiting choices!”
Gallen looked a bit nervous even as s/he swapped gender, and clothes. “Which specific ones?”
Felinia dropped a thick pile down in front of him. “Let’s start with these ones!”
Gallen looked and in a few cases frowned, putting them aside. When he finished he held up the sub-pile “I have no idea how they got here. I didn’t even know there was a living personification of Murphy’s Law!”
“Then how did he get here?”
Gallen started laughing. “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong! He came because is it something that could go wrong!”
Felinia paused and conceded “Dammit! It makes sense.”
Gallen went through the others and said “You know the rules about me being unable to refuse applicants. That includes Karens, and other undesirables. However, I think the outright criminals do have potential for Evil Deities, or at least Fiends of different kinds.
“The hooker I can understand. She just wanted out from her old life and was there when her pimp got the offer, just before he died.
"Hmm, an Atheist who seeks to prove this is all a scam. Very interesting. He could be useful if handled properly.”
Holding up one file in particular Gallen frowned. “Florida Man. I have no idea how he got here, and I’m afraid. If he teams up with Murphy’s Law and the Karen, we are so freaking screwed even I won’t find it funny.”
Felinia asked him “Why is there only one member from that Murder Inc group? I thought you offered it to everyone of them?”
Gallen smiled. “I did! And I also made sure to mention that they would be forced to compete for followers and power with only one able to be in charge. Soon enough there was only one member left.”
Felinia smiled at that and her teeth became more fanglike. “Good.”
Gallen told her “I followed your instructions and recruited those I could who were too dangerous to leave in place, or who we could fine useful. Also I made the offer to everyone there at the time. I also made a few random offers to people. These are the results in most cases. It’s not my fault the rules we have to follow suck in this manner.”

Looking at some he smiled “I wonder how long until the reality of this reality hit the SJW types? That could be amusing to watch, or annoying. Either way I’ll be watching them.”
Felinia told him “Those ones annoyed me. Them I can generally accept. Even those who thrive on corrupting people into being monsters I can deal with. However, these other ones piss me off!”
She placed another pile of folders on the desk before Gallen
Looking through them Gallen got a bit sickly looking. Eventually he said “Did you have to include pictures from their memories. Even listing their acts would be bad enough.”
Felinia now fully looked like a pissed of Demonic with horns, fangs, claws and tail. “I know! We can’t just kick them out, but I do not want such sickos becoming Gods! Sometimes I could just curse the fact I have to be neutral!”
Gallen thought to himself and eventually told her “We can work with this.”
She looked at him “Work with Child abusers and animal fuckers. Shit! You’ve see the list of the fucked up shit they do to their victims! How the hell do you think we can work with them?”
Gallen had lost his humor and had a serious expression on their face. “By doing what your faith excels at: abuse the loopholes!”
Felinia seemed to relax slightly. “How?”
Gallen smiled evilly. “Firstly, they would only appeal to niche groups, so that would limit their appeal and following at first. Others would be interested in killing them. In fact, just about everyone. Expressly if what they did was to get out.
“Next, during the classes, mention that one of the most important things for a starting Pantheon is to protect the tribe’s future, which often lies in the hands of their children. Anything that threatens the kids lives is a threat to their following, and thus themselves. These scumbags harm kids, so others will kill them to protect potential followers.
“If we can divert their potential worshippers onto less disgusting paths, it could protect more.”
Felinia was intrigued “Other paths?”
Gallen nodded. “Yeah. However, you have to be neutral, so I’m not sure how much I can tell you.”
He thought for a bit and said “Deities of things that are not important to the tribe need to be expanded to cover what is needed. Deities of things that would lessen the people’s chances of survival, like bestiality or child abuse would have to be prevented. They might be put under a Deity of some evil thing. Otherwise they would be limited to Fiend status.”
Felinia hesitated and asked him “What can you tell me?”
Gallen considered carefully. “I am going to encourage some types of races to be formed. If they happen to undercut and steal away the most likely groups of potential for these other people. Hmm, I suggest you add to your instructions warnings about necromancers raising the dead messing with people’s souls being dangerous for them. After all, if they can summon the souls, they can target a deity’s followers and harm his faithful that way. Might be best to have people secure their dead and destroy the bodies.”
When saying that he was tapping a folder concerning a confirmed necrophile and cannibal.
Then he tapped another folder containing info on a serial rapist and killer. “I also suggest telling them that any threat to their followers has to be dealt with. After all, if their followers start off just killing each other, then they will have no followers left and they will die as well.”
Felinia nodded. “You know how to deal with them better than me. I often just wish I could go back to the days I was killing the pedos as offerings to Demons.”
Gallen nodded. “I know. I have played many roles in my time with disguises, and managed to get into the mindsets for them, but even I won’t do these ones.
After a bit to settle their thoughts Gallen asked “How’s Shade going?”
Felinia smiled. “Down as a student and enrolled as one. Domain of Shadow dwellers and with Shadow walking as her power.”
Gallen chuckled. “Always good to have a ringer in with the students. What do you think her real plans are?”
Felinia thought for a bit. “She’ll do what we can’t. We have to be neutral. She doesn’t.” Smiling “Shade never did like having to play by rules.”
Gallen laughed “We taught her well.”
With nothing more to discus, Gallen soon left.
