So it was recently brought to my attention the paradox of having Lord Sezarath bring the world of Coroleya with him, when in fact the Lord of Death knew a piece of his Mother existed within the heart of Coroleya, and that he would be simply bringing her along with him even though he was trying to escape her clutches.

But then that would be to assume that Lord Sezarath could escape her reach and power, which as I mentioned before is indefinable, and as such her realm is without limits, although she is more prone to using tools to complete her assigned work. It also assumes that Lord Sezrath has no need of Coroleya, which in part is true. He has no real need for Coroleya.

Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.

However the world itself is a source of powerful magic, and is filled with demonic energies that are utilised by the dark mages, shamans and vampires. And as such, Sezarath is intrinsically linked to Coroleya and requires the energies that exist within the world to exert his influence on events. Whereas The Mother does not.

It could also be hypothesized that Sezarath knew that he could not hope to defeat The Mother without first attaining many more souls, so chose instead to use delaying tactics, forcing her to send her minions out to the many worlds he visited and allow them to waste time cleaning up the mess he had caused in his wake.

It was also mentioned to me that I had yet to reveal the fates of The Mother’s other spawn, and that of Sezarath’s own children. However I must leave them as a mystery for now.

Author Note: For those who’ve recently been reading the Histories, I’ve added more author notes at the top and bottom of each of the new pages for you to take a look at and get a better understanding of Coroleya. Any questions or feedback at this stage would be extremely helpful, and would allow me to remove contradictions and create a solid working history.
