Chapter Seven Even though Booker was confused by the situation he couldn't help but desire the bold naked woman in front of him, “What did you have in mind darling; I have no idea what a woman from the future desires.” Sophie laughed “After reading your journal I'm sure that you do, but unlike the town whores you don't scare me. In fact please don't feel like you need to hold back if I don't like something I'll let you know it, I'm not one to back down from a good fuck and a spanking every once in a while.” Reaching out, Booker grabbed Sophie by the waist and pulled her into him, tightly pressing her breasts against his chest, the hard feel of his massive erection against her stomach making her toes curl. Reaching between them she stroked him making sweet sounds of longing as his head fell back, his strong jaw begging to be kissed. Sophie’s tongue and teeth searching out his mouth from the chest up. “This water is perfect don’t get me wrong but you’d better love my mouth on your cock if we were on land while I sucked it.” Booker’s mouth slanted over Sophie's, his tongue tasting hers as he carried her to land and laid on top of her bracing his muscular thighs on either side as he sucked on her nipples causing her to call out begging him for more. Coming to her senses she took the lead placing Booker on his back straddling him as her hands and mouth explored his body, reaching his cock she smiled with excitement its size alone taking her breath away. Taking its head into her mouth she sucked and licked around the rim making Booker groan and rip at the grass beneath them. Using one hand she milked him hard gripping him as she made love to him with her mouth, with the other hand she cupped his balls kneading them between her fingers, licking at the precum so hot herself she could feel herself pulsating and aching to be touched and ravished by the hot throbbing member she held so tight. Unable to wait, needing more Booker pulled Sophie up taking her mouth in a raw and passionate kiss as he turned her onto her back Sophie’s cries of need pushed him forward. Spreading wide with anticipation Sophie reached down to direct his rock-hard cock inside her. Her body stretched as he eased it in, her breath catching as the sting of pain turned to pleasure, still, only halfway in, Booker pulled out then pushed back in. “Are you ready for me?” Sophie had no idea all she knew was she wanted him, all of him and she wouldn’t stop until his balls were slapping against her ass as he rammed himself inside her.“Take me Booker ready or not I want all of you, fuck me like I’m your dream girl, fuck me hard.” Booker lost all control as he growled and slammed his cock inside her only to pull out and slam into her again and again making her cry out hitting and stroking a spot never before hit, she climaxed long and hard leaving only a shutter behind. About to cum Booker reached down and rubbed at Sophie’s clit making her beg for more, his deep stride never faltering until she cried out his name making him cum inside her filling her to the brim before he shuttered and fell beside her both speechless and gasping for air. Standing up Booker helped Sophie up and back into the water both in a daze. Booker was first to say “I don’t have to imagine you as my dream woman Sophie, you are her, and I’m not just saying that, blonde hair, green eyes, the way you sound, the way you feel, the way you make me feel all of it. I’ve never been more satisfied.” Sophie sighed as she walked into his arms “Is it alright if I want you to hold me?” Booker smiled as he squeezed her close “I’d never let you go if you’d let me.''Sophie smiled “That was incredible Booker, and I can’t wait for more. I’ve been staying in your cabin do you mind if I stay there still?” Booker pulled away to look down at Sophie ``I don't plan to let you out of my sight.” Sophie nodded, pulling herself back into reality “We do have a lot to talk about, I guess my Jeep won't be sitting out in front of your cabin anymore.” Booker frowned “What is a Jeep?” Sophie chuckled “It’s like a horseless carriage, they call them motor vehicles, it's how we get around they go real fast. I think I might have a picture.” Booker smiled “I have seen a picture.”Sophie laughed “Not like the ones I’ll be showing you.” Booker finished washing up then helped Sophie with her bag and wet clothes as they made their way back to the cabin. Reaching the cabin Sophie looked amazed “Wow this is nice it sure has changed since yesterday.” Booker frowned “How?” Sophie smiled, “Wait and I’ll show you.” Booker seemed nervous to have a guest even though the cabin was immaculate even the bed had been made. Laying out her wet clothes Sophie slipped into one of Booker's shirts and sat down. “I hate to ask but would you be up for a nap? Never liked them much but I’m exhausted. It's been a long week.” Booker shrugged “Do you need privacy?’ Sophie smiled “Actually I was hoping you might think of lying down with me.” Booker smiled as he sat down to remove his boots “Haven’t lain in bed with a lady for more than just sex in years. I’ve been dreaming about you in my bed for too long not to take advantage of the opportunity.” Getting comfortable Booker pulled Sophie into his arms caressing her face and hair. The feel of his body curled around her and his hands in her hair made her eyes heavy. “I hope this isn’t a dream Booker, I don’t want to wake up alone. I feel so good in your arms.” Booker wore a satisfied grin as he laid his head next to hers. “If it’s a dream it’s a good one and you my darling feel like heaven in my arms.” Sophie fell asleep wearing a smile, when she woke it was dark out and the front door was open. The smell of tobacco was coming from the porch, grabbing her pack of cigarettes and her lighter. She walked out to find Booker sitting on the porch steps looking striking in the moonlight. “Hello there, handsome.” Booker turned and smiled watching as she sat down next to him. Pulling out her pack Booker watched her with interest, nearly jumping when she lit her cigarette with her lighter and took a drag. “Beautiful night.” Booker nodded “What is that you’re smoking?” Sophie laughed “A cigarette, do you want one?” Handing him one she lit it and watched him take a drag. “A lot easier than a pipe or having to roll your own don’t you think?” Booker smiled “A hell of a lot smoother as well.” Unable to help herself Sophie leaned into him and stole a quick kiss. “I hope you don’t mind, I can’t imagine what kind of woman you must think I am, yes I’ve always been what most would call a very passionate woman but I don’t just meet strange men and have sex with them. I want you to know I don’t do this often, I was just drawn to you like I had to have you like we were meant to meet. I wanted you and had to have you, it just felt right. Like I have known you for so long and we finally were able to meet.” Booker wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in close. “You coming into my life the way you have is a gift from the Gods and if you will let me I was hoping to claim you as my woman, well for as long as I can have you at least.” Sophie smiled shocked to have a man want to claim her as his own so quickly, usually, it took weeks or months before they even considered themselves her boyfriends or in a relationship with her. “I’d like that Booker, I'd like to be your woman.” Sitting there silently Sophie couldn’t help but think of the skeleton in the cave, having decided to give him proof of what time period she was from Sophie was still trying to decide if she should keep Booker's unpleasant fate a secret, for now at least. Booker watched her as she stared off into nothingness “Your frowning darling what are you thinking about?” Sophie shook it off and gave a weak smile “I’ve only known you a few hours yet I feel so close to you, closer than I have ever felt with another man and I had to travel back in time one hundred and twenty years just to find it, to find you.” Booker shrugged “I’ve dreamt of you my whole adult life more now in the last few years than ever and here you are my dream come to life, flesh and blood and in my arms. Seems like things are happening for a reason if you ask me.” Sophie smiled “Is that what you think?” Booker laughed looking at the cigarette butt strangely “Yes, yes it is.” Sophie smiled as she took the butt “You throw this part away, careful it’s out or you’ll start a fire and burn down the forest.” Standing Booker held out his hand to help Sophie up “You getting hungry?” Sophie smiled “Getting there, maybe after we eat, I can show you a few of the things I have with me from my time.” Walking to her bag she pulled out her unopened bottle of brandy. “Lucky for you I brought lots of alcohol on my adventure and kept the brandy in my bag. Only a small bottle but it’s enough for us both to get a buzz.” Booker nodded as he looked at the bottle. “Nice bottle must be expensive.” Sophie shrugged, “It does the trick.” Booker went back to dinner having started a pot of stew the night before. Sophie poured them both a glass and sat at the table watching him as he moved about the kitchen. “From what you wrote in your journal you haven’t been a gold miner for very long?” Booker nodded his head as he served them both a bowl of stew “No, just a few years now, I lived with my family in Boston before moving here.” Sophie smiled “Did you enjoy being a Lawyer?” Booker took a drink of brandy and smiled “It's somewhat odd knowing that you read my journal, you already know so much about me including my private thoughts. Yes I did enjoy being a Lawyer but it had its drawbacks like any profession I assume, but I was proficient and well-liked, not to mention fortunate to work with my father, a respectable and skillful Lawyer well known for his spotless track record of victories. I worked in my family's practice until my father died.” Booker sat down and took Sophie's hand rubbing his thumb over her palm. “Soon after that, my mother and sister died of influenza. I had no reason to stay after that so I sold everything and took my inheritance and left. I did a bit of traveling before ending up here. I was just passing through when I won this land in a game of chance and figured it was a good opportunity to make a new start.” Sophie nodded “In your journal you say the town calls you crazy, why is that?” Booker laughed “My mine is known to be a lost cause, the man who had it before me mined it his whole life and found nothing and here I am following in his tracks and except for a few pieces of gold I haven’t seen enough to get excited about.” Sophie smiled “Tomorrow when you start digging in a different direction and you’ll find gold.” Booker laughed, “You sound so sure.” Sophie gave an excited smile as she went for her bag, after digging through it she pulled out the gold nuggets her grandmother had found and a nugget she had picked up earlier that day and placed them on the table in front of him. Booker looked stunned as he picked them up “Where did you get this?” Sophie gave a smug grin as she pointed to one of the nuggets, “My grandmother pulled this out of your mind when she was just a child and never told her parents scared she’d get in trouble for going inside and the other one I picked up off the ground just yesterday.” Pulling out her necklace Sophie smiled “She had this made for me out of the gold, she called it her secret mine and would tell me stories about it when I was a child.” Booker held the gold silently. “So I’m on the right track?” Sophie giggled “Yes.” Booker looked to be thinking things over “If you own the land in the future what becomes of the mine?” Sophie sighed as she sat down in front of the fire. “My grandmother was the last person to go into it, well except for me like I said I went up there yesterday and looked around and took some pictures.” Booker frowned “What of the gold?” Sophie stared at her hands “It’s still there untouched.” Booker reached out and took Sophie’s hands “What of me?” Sophie swallowed hard “I don’t know really, but I have a pretty good idea. But with me here your fate might change.” Booker rubbed his jaw still thinking things over “No worries honey, I don’t expect to live forever.” Looking back at the gold he smiled “Damn what a fine sight that is, makes all the work worthwhile.” Sophie smiled “Eat up I’d like to take a walk before we settle in for the night.” Booker chuckled “Not scared of the dark are you?” Sophie laughed “Not with you with me and I never leave home without my gun.” Booker frowned “Gun where?” Sophie pulled out her gun, removed the bullets, and handed it to him “It’s nice huh? She's my baby.” Booker held the gun in awe “Damn fine gun you got here, I like you more and more the longer I know you.” Looking the gun over he shook his head. “This is a respectable piece you got here, nothing like I have ever seen.” Sophie smiled in between bites of stew. “A girls gotta take care of herself.” Booker smiled “Do all women in your time carry guns?” Sophie shook her head “Only us proud few, women haven’t changed all that much. Well they have but they haven’t it all depends on the woman I guess, some women are all work and no play, others are born breeders all about home and family then there’s the single women looking for love and the single women looking for sex, hell there are all kinds.” Booker smiled “What are you?” Sophie paused as if thinking it over “I’ve never been married, my longest relationship lasted a year in a half. I have no children, I love my work, I’m a photographer and I travel a lot. I meet men have a few good laughs for a few weeks if it lasts that long, some good sex if I’m lucky, nothing like I have with you I must admit, then I’m off to where ever life leads me.” Booker kept eye contact as they talked, his clear blue eyes searching Sophie’s green ones. “Why haven’t you settled down, in this day and age you would be married with children by now. With your looks, you would have every man in the state trying to court you and fighting each other over the chance to do it ?” Sophie shrugged, “I guess I’m just not what men want.” Booker chuckled, “Then your time lacks smart men.” Sophie smiled “All men leave me for the same reasons, I’m too bold, I say what I’m thinking which shocks people. I’m too dark, too cold with no soft edges. An emotional wreck and of course what kind of demented woman carries around knives and a loaded gun.” Sophie paused trying to figure out how to tell him, no matter what she wasn't going to keep the curse a secret this time around, even if it sent her dream man running. “Remember when you saw me take those pills?” Booker nodded “Well I have a disorder called Bi-Polar disorder which causes my moods to shift from extreme highs to lows; I’m unable to keep myself mentally balanced without medication. The way my mother always described it was as a curse that she and her mother and her mother before her had all been cursed with. Some call us crazy, some have even called us possessed because at times we cannot control ourselves or what we do, they say that we change with the wind, our moods heightened only to fall without hope or understanding. Sometimes life seems like a delusion to us, so real, so true only to find it’s a shadow of lies conjured up in our sick minds usually only realized when it’s too late and the damage has already been done.” Booker listened then smiled “So now I know what’s going on when you start acting crazy. Anything else I should know about you?” Sophie paused standing as she walked and stood in the open door looking out Booker followed holding her waist and lightly kissing her neck. “My great grandmother Leta shot herself in the head on this mountain, in front of my great grandfather, her children, and his entire logging crew all because she forgot to make cornbread and let herself get upset and make it into something it wasn’t. My grandmother Lola was placed in a hospital for the mentally insane and committed suicide by jumping from the bell tower. My mother was placed in the same hospital and committed suicide the same way just last week. I’m the last of the Chance family and crazy or not I’m proud to be part of it, my mother’s last wish was for me to come here and make it my own and for me to never let myself end up in a hospital-like she and her mother had and I plan to honor her last wishes.” Booker held her close “Thank you.” Sophie turned “Thank you for what?” Booker smiled as he caressed her cheek “For being here, for being you, and for trusting me enough to open up to me. Are you ready for that walk?” Redressing into her dry clothes Sophie turned to find Booker watching her “How did you get those tattoos, I’ve never seen anything like them. Their beautiful and their colors are so vivid?” Sophie shrugged, “In the future, many people will decorate their bodies in tattoo’s their an art form that you carry with you, even through time it seems.” Booker smiled then a look of sadness came over him “I wonder how long I’ll have you, a day, a week, hell I’ve been blessed for just these last few hours. Are you anxious to return to your time?” Sophie smiled “I’m in no hurry honey, I don’t know how it all works all I know is I’m thrilled to be here with you right now returning is the farthest thing from my mind. I have no one waiting for me, hell only a small few will notice I’m gone. I feel at ease with you and even though you don’t have the emotion to back it up I feel loved in your arms. That’s new for me and I don’t want it to end, you’ll get sick of me before I get sick of you no doubt.” Booker smiled as he took her hand. “Let’s enjoy our time together while we can.” Pulling her into his arms he smiled, Sophie looked up into the night sky in amazement. “Is it possible there are more stars now than there are in the future? I’ve never seen anything so awe-inspiring.” Booker placed his hand on the base of Sophie's back as he led her to the ridge looking over his land, the moonlight illuminating as far as the eyes could see. “I fell in love with this land, gold or not, it's a treasure and I’m honored to call my own.” Sophie smiled as she wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his broad chest. “It’s beautiful here.” Booker smiled looking down into her eyes “You're beautiful and a treasure all on your own.” Sophie smiled, “Sweet talker."
