“Do you know what the difference between the Royal Family and our organization is?”
“No… boss, should we really be having a casual conversation right now?”
“The only difference is public opinion.”
“I see… but boss, how are we going to get out of this?”
Nexic and his bodyguard Jacob were in a bar, surrounded by ten of the Assassins Guild’s strongest members. They were all wielding short swords and daggers, ready to strike at any moment, but there was a strange sense of danger in the air. The envoy from the royal palace told them that their mark was just a defenseless merchant, yet before them stood a giant man, the size of a barbarian who was passively emanating so much fighting spirit that they could barely even look at him.

“Sigh… get out of what? These guys aren't even level 200, even without any armor or weapons I could still kill them without trying.”
“Then what level are you boss?”
“I don’t know, I stopped paying attention after 250 and that was a while ago.”

“Then why did you even hire me as a bodyguard?”
“When did I ever do that? I thought you were like a secretary or something…”
While the two targets were talking amongst themselves, the assassins were requesting for backup. However, everyone else in the guild was offline and the NPCs weren't responding to them. Then the bar's door was gently opened and a cute dwarf woman walked in, wearing full plate armor. Her skin was fair and her hair was in long black braids that went down to her waist, which wasn't really that far for a dwarf. Her bright blue eyes were almost beautiful enough that you could ignore the fact that her entire body was drenched in blood and she was dragging a huge sack full of human heads behind her as she pushed her way through the crowd of assassins.
“Hey Peri, it’s been a while.”
“Hi…”
The dwarf left the sack of heads on the floor as she struggled to climb up the bar-stool, there was already a beer prepared ahead of time in front of her. There was complete silence in the bar for a few minutes and a few of the assassins escaped while they had the chance. Eventually there was only one assassin still in the bar, pointing his blades at Nexic in a vain attempt to appear threatening.
“Sigh, if you don’t order something soon, I’m going to throw you out…”
“Can you make… Pina Coladas?”
After serving the assassin a few drinks, Nexic discovered that he was actually the guild leader. After experiencing such a crushing defeat, Roflblades decided to abandon the Royals and instead offered his guild’s services to Nexic. It was time to initiate the next step in his plan to become the ruler of Varhales and the King of Brent.
