Unfortunately, she found that her phone had no signal. Peter leaned his head and asked out loud, "Guys, you good?"

The other people also replied back as they found out that car radios weren't in contact with the station anymore.

Tina said calmly, "The phone also has no signal. We are all by ourselves now. Let's stop and check the situation first. As long as we found a survivor, we would be able to figure out what to do."

Peter said, "Prepare to stop. Remember to be ready for sudden combat." and he slowed down the car before parking it in front of a house. Then the two got out of the car vigilantly. Other people also stopped their cars and came out cautiously while holding various guns.

That is tactical. Sixteen people cautiously walked over to the nearest house and knocked the door and they asked out aloud, "Is there anybody here? We are police, you don't have to be afraid."

Strangely, there was still no reply coming out yet even after they knocked the door of the fourth house. And everything seems just fine. They didn't find out any fighting scenes. But not seeing any living people kept alerting them. They all understood in their hearts that something went wrong and terribly wrong. When they came back to their cars, the two officers stood clutching shotguns near the cars.

Pedro decided to break into a house after a quick discussion. Peter and Tina stood in front of the door of the first house while the other people stood on the lawns. He gestured Tina to back off and kicked the door. In just one kick, the strong looking door was fragile and it was opened easily. The two walked into the house with caution. Allen and Luke also followed them to the inside.

After searching the house for several minutes, they didn't see a person nor any fighting traces. However, Luke found out that things in the house seemed to be new and very fragile. He broke a glass when he just wanted to drink some water. It scared him because the glass broke apart into pieces in his hand when he picked it up from the table. Fortunately, he was wearing tactical gloves so his hands didn't get injured.

Tina breathed heavily and said to Pedro, "Pedro, we are probably in a big trouble. This is a mysterious case. We can't handle this."

Pedro walked out of the house, and he said, "You're worrying too much, Tina. Let's go and check that Chapel. However, I agree with you. We are going to leave here if we still can't find anything out there."

Tina didn't talk anymore and silently followed him. The whole team got back into the cars and moved towards the tall Chapel.

On the way, Luke was talking to Ronald about the strangely fragile glass and other fragile things in the house.

Tina drew the shape of a small moon symbol on her chest with her free left hand and muttered, "Great Goddess Ixchel, please bless us."

Peter lead the way to the tall Chapel he saw while vigilantly looking around for possible danger. Tina had been observing the roadside scenes till Peter stopped the car in front of the tall walls. They saw two police patrol cars not far away from the parking place Peter chose.

When everyone got out of the car, six patrol cops went towards the two cars and checked them. Soon, they came back as they found nothing. When they got to the gate, they saw the already opened gate. Unlike what they imagined, they still saw nothing connecting with murders nor the blood stains.

Just as they stepped into the church, they felt that they had passed something. Other people followed because they saw the front guys just walked ahead and they were in front of them. However, when they passed the gate, they disappeared into strange space. The images which people behind saw were just temporary illusions. Things happened suddenly and the whole team of eighteen people just got into strange space like that. The surrounding scenes changed and they found out that they reappeared at the entrance of the village they had passed a dozen minutes ago. This frightened everyone. They remembered the nearby houses which they passed them when they entered the village. They saw no good houses like they did a few minutes ago. Many houses were either razed to ground or greatly damaged. Some were with still burning fires and smokes. The worst thing was, unlike clean street before, they saw the corpses of black wolf like creatures and unrecognizable dead bodies here and there.

They were confused. Talkative Luke asked, "What happened? How do we appear here? I saw you guys walked into the Church compound. Holy shits, what just happened here?"

No answer came out as everyone was just as confused as him. And they were frightened by the miserable scene in front of them. Peter didn't hesitate. He gave a gesture to other people to follow and ran towards the nearest house to take shelter.

The house they chose also has obvious traces of fighting. On the front lawn, there are dead bodies of two wolf like creatures and one green skin little monster. However, unlike greatly damaged houses nearby, this house is still in a good shape.

They saw the badly battered front door with cracked wood near the door handle which was probably opened with a sharp thing by force.

On the wooden floor of front porch, there are bullet shells and strange green liquid. It seemed that the owner might have shot and fought back at those strange creatures. When they entered the house, they saw another corpse lying silently on the floor. It was the red skin little monster of about one meter in height. It was probably killed by the house owner, the corpse had already stopped bleeding. But large area of the floor is stained with its green blood.

If someone from the extraordinary circle is here, he would call out in a surprise. These one meter high guys are called dark minion and they are very weak at first. Of course, they could be hurt and killed by normal hot weapons easily in this stage. Magical weapons would be more effective on them. The wolves at the outside are known as Inferno wolves. They are just cannon fodders. However, they can evolve and become stronger as long as they ate enough food. These creatures came from Abyss. They are not native creatures of earth. Unfortunately, no police officer would know this. Even Tina would not know about this although she has also read five books containing mysterious knowledge which her father collected.
