After all, they were now possibly being locked by their opponents. The worst thing was that they didn't even know how and where these people were shooting at them. How many enemies? How many guns and ammunition?
Many thoughts flashed in his head. Thomas was really feeling bad as he lost several buddies again.
"Did you see where they were shooting us and how?"
His buddy beside him shouted, "I didn't see anything. Anybody saw that?"
Several other people also answered, "No, we didn't see where they were shooting from either. But they were certainly shooting us from that house."
Thomas didn't know what to continue to say when he heard the last reply. After all, even a kid could know about that.
Although they didn't know what to do, inferno wolves were not the same. All the wolves at the scene charged towards the house which was the source of gunshots.
However out of thirteen wolves, only two made their way to the lawn while eleven were shot dead in the heads just on the road.
The two wolves strangely accelerated and got on the front porch. When the gunmen reacted, they were too late to solve the two wolves from the second floor. The two wolves started to scratch the thick door made of iron wood which even rifle bullet can't penetrate.
In the end, they failed to destroy the strong door. However, they still left a few shallow scratches on the door.
Several gunshots sounded again as two gun holes appeared on the wall opposite to the doorstep. These took away the lives of the last two wolves. It was all due to strange design of Julia's townhouse. There is no dead end place in her house.
Inside the house, old Julia calmly reloaded her double-barreled shotgun.
Several people in the second floor also sighed as they solved the danger temporarily.
However, Brian told them before going down to the first floor, "Don't be silly. This is just our front side. In real battle, we are going to face attacks from all four directions. Now, get up and check other directions. If you see potential danger, solve it directly."
Two old veterans calmly reloaded their guns and followed their captain's ass. One of them muttered as he touched his chest, "Easy deal but recoil was real. It is a pity. We used to see these lads after all. It is terrible."
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Another old man didn't say a thing and calmly followed the two in silent. But on the way, the latter shouted and asked for help, "Isha, please help me put on hot plasters. My whole body is going to die from pains." Kevin's mouth twitched and everyone was trying hard to not laugh after hearing that.
A minute passed. Finally, Kevin couldn't bear it and started laughing while slapping the shoulder of Rock. Rock also started to laugh.
"These old men, they were all forcing. They are all old after all. Ahahaha, I can't bear this, hahaha..."
Looking at the laughing two people, Tina and Peter exchanged glances and their mouths also twitched. But they still didn't laugh like them. The two left Kevin and Rock in place and they went back to their attic. Before leaving, Peter asked Ronald to listen to old Brian.
After laughing for a while, Kevin and Rock stopped and started to move around to fulfill their sentry duty. QRT team members asked the normal cops to check the surroundings and they decided to stay in the living room.
In the living room at the first floor, Brian was talking with Julia. There were also two old women and an old veteran moving the guns and ammunition boxes slowly. The two old veteran who came down also went to help their old friends.
The first floor was taken by their gang of old but still strong people. Young people were placed in the second floor. As for the attic, it was for Peter and Tina. Six children and the wife of Rock were placed in the basement. The big house was crowded. Fortunately, Julia stocked a lot of things so everyone could at least get a blanket. Although these tough men could just simply sleep on the floor without anything, nobody would refuse a blanket.
"Julia, think again. Lisa, Isha and you should stay in the basement. I know you guys aren't afraid to die. But what about those kids, they can't even defend themselves. Look at me Julia. They need you."
"And you two, why aren't you telling this mad woman to stay in the basement? Are you guys going to piss me off?"
The two old women, Isha and Lisa laughed without giving back any reason or reply.
Julia patiently drunk a small sip of coffee and said without looking at Brian, "We alone are useless. And I have big guys which could blow up the entire street. At that time, we will close the basement and take those ugly bastards to hell together with us."
Brian was amazed by his stubborn old friend. He was speechless but he still asked, "What do you get? Dynamite? C3?C4? Or raw TNT?"
Julia looked up at Brian and said calmly, "C4, I got six boxes of them. About 1 ton."
The old gangsters were all surprised by her news. Even Brian fell into silent.
He didn't know what to do. But after several seconds, he got back his mind and started to scold her, "You old mad woman, don't you know to talk this kind of important information to me earlier? You, you, you."
He didn't know what to continue and finally sighed, "We could've made a good arrangement with them. Now it seems we are too late to do something. Julia, you fucking idiot."
In a sense, his words weren't wrong because all inferno wolves and dark minions in nearby streets were heading towards their house. It was just nobody could see that scene.
At the outside, eight young men were still sitting behind the cars. Although there was no more sound of gunshots , they still didn't dare to stand up. After all, a guy who tried to check the situation with the scoped rifle was shot down. Now he became another corpse so even Thomas was not giving another order. He was afraid to see another friend dying in front of him.
