Chapter 9

The pain disappeared so suddenly that I doubted that I was even in pain in the first place. My hand that was previously ravaged beyond repair with bones and veins visible and my skin ripped off, was mended as If it went back in time. There usually would be scars from healing such severe injuries on earth but there were no such things noticeable anywhere on my body. “That should be better” The giant man exclaimed. Thank you, I replied almost immediately and Bowed my head in respect. “Anyways, Why aren't you in the academy with that much talent?” the man questioned with a confused look on his face. You mean Alryn Academy? “Yes, Alryn academy lacks talent at the moment and is desperate for anybody with skills slightly above average. With your advanced skills, You could easily get accepted.” I start to sweat while thinking of responses to his question of not being enrolled into the school. “I also haven't seen you before, I know all of the faces in Alryn but you aren't one of them.” I stayed calm and responded simply, I am new to this kingdom, I came from a faraway land in hopes of finding an opportunity for myself. I respond in a cold tone. “Well, I can see your talent and I would like to personally train you to be worthy of the #1 fighter in the Academy. If you survive my training for one week, I, The Alryn Guildmaster will personally recommend you to the academy.” I shiver while thinking about how hellish training I am about to endure but I decide to accept his offer for the sake of getting stronger. “Good, Now get some rest, Go to the ‘Bear Claw’ inn and Show them this.” He pulls out a metal plate that looks similar to a dog tag on earth. It had a platinum color but it wasn't shiny. I took the tag and thanked him again while walking out of the room. I stopped at the runic door and attempted to open it normally but it wouldn't move even a little bit. I tried opening the door with all my strength and it flew open making me look like an idiot. I walked out with the gazes of all of the people in the building looking at me with shocked filled eyes. I heard whispers and most of them conclude with “He really did it”
