Chapter 7

I could see the confusion on her face as I walked away. She grew suspicious and began to look about. I attacked her right side again, this time with a clean hit. *CRACK* I could hear her bones breaking and I wanted to attack again, but it was risky because she knew where I was now. "ARGGGHH," she grumbled as she was thrown a few feet. I moved myself and *CRACK* whacked her left leg .I heard a second grunt, but it was virtually inaudible this time. My last hit landed on her skull *CRACK* and she rolled to her side, where I smacked her arm. This time, I won't forget what I said as I prepare for another swing. “W-WAIT!! I'LL GIVE IT TO YOU! "IT'S MY GOLD!" I come to a standstill and stare at her, perplexed. You almost killed me, didn't you? I asked her, clearly frustrated. "Y-YES AND I APOLOGIZE"."H-HERE," she murmured as she gave me a pouch double the size of the man's. Thank you, I snorted and walked away. I'm starving; do they serve curries here? While walking away from this horrible scene, I think to myself. I stumble across a small pond and decide to drink. The water was clearer than any pond I'd ever seen. When I finish my drink, I look in the mirror and see a 15-16 year old boy with black hair and yellow eyes. He was dressed casually from Earth and was pretty attractive. Is that you? Before I say to myself, "I'm foolish for not recognizing that's my reflection," I think to myself.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

I get out of the puddle and stroll about for a time till I come to a thin dirt path. I follow it for around ten minutes till I come across a larger stone walkway. After what seemed like an eternity, I arrived at massive stone walls with an iron gate guarded by guards covered in silver and blue armor. "State your reason for admittance" I came out of my amazement and reacted by taking out the coin pouch and stating, "Just pass by to purchase some goods. "You may enter; enjoy your visit to Alryn," the guard said monotonously. I walk in and notice the chaos of numerous shops and people on the streets, from newborns to elderly people, all of them are mingling in this city. I go out to dine and order enough food for four people, but I eat it all. Others in the restaurant are staring at me, but I'm too busy eating my turkey and mashed potatoes to notice. When I finish my meal, I leave two silver coins on the table as a tip for the waitress and exit. When I depart, I realize I don't really have a goal in life. In my prior life, I aspired to build a large firm and live comfortably (which never happened), therefore I was constantly busy. I keep thinking till I find it. I wish to live freely with the goal of holding immense power in the palm of my hands.
