Without a chance to think a translucent blue window appeared in front of me prompting me to forget about my frustrations. “Choose two skills” the familiar voice rings in my head and then words start to appear on the window.

I sat there dumbfounded by what I was seeing. I read a few fantasy novels in college and noticed this a lot. I've always wished that I could have received at least one of the characters' abilities. It's ludicrous that it's coming true for someone with my abilities. I was pondering which skill to use when I noticed two that jumped out to me: Extreme Enlightenment and Imperceptible Body. Despite the fact that the others were appealing, I chose these two because of how beneficial they would be in the future. I will choose these two, I responded, pointing to the skills I desired. Apep frowned and inquired, "Are you sure?" I am certain I retorted. Even though spatial control looked appealing, I could tell it would be difficult to level up. The mystic steps were amazing, but the level 1 cool down was ridiculous. Absolute eyesight was intriguing, but in my previous life as a 57-year-old merchant, I could already discern if someone was lying to some level. Apep groaned and waved his hand, and I heard that lovely artificial voice say, "3 Skills obtained." 3? I asked Apep because I assumed it was only two. "Because I admire your courage in approaching me, I provided something special.

It seemed like I was a kid at Christmas, receiving fantastic gifts. I couldn't keep my excitement in check. My face began to move on its own and distort into a strange-looking smile. "Good luck," Apep remarked, smiling back at me. WA-. As I open my eyes while lying on the grass, I groan. I looked up at the beautiful crystal blue sky and I immediately stood up. I saw the tattoo on my left hand and tried to rub it off once again, but this time a window appeared labeled “status”.
Active skills: Imperceptible body(LVL 1/2, Mineral Blade(LVL 1/2)
Passive skills: Chaotic sword (LVL 1/3), Extreme Enlightenment LVL MAX.
When I touched the tattoo again, the window vanished. "AHHHHH" I heard cries behind me and became intrigued, so I went to investigate. I came into a fighter who towered above me, standing well over six feet tall. His strong shoulders and well-muscled build were the result of countless hours spent training and honing his combat skills. His dark hair was tied back in a tight ponytail, and his piercing blue eyes appeared to look right through his adversaries. He was getting bitten in the ass by a wolf with crimson fur. I was roughly 1.5 times the size of wolves on Earth. Behind him stood a tiny woman with caramel-colored wavy hair. She wore a bright green dress. She had eyes that shined with knowledge and mischief. Despite the fact that these two had weapons, they were being savagely attacked by the 6 wolves. I had no intention of helping, so I just sat and observed. I was thinking about how different civilization would be in this world from mine when I observed there were no longer any sounds of struggle. Once I noticed the guy and woman on the ground. The wolves surrounded me, their hungry eyes flashing. I kept a close eye on them, waiting for them to make the first move. I realized I had to move quickly if I was going to survive.
Finally, the wolves charged at Me with a chorus of snarls. I whirled on My heel, my sword a blur as I swung at My pursuers. I took down the wolves one by one, my blade flashing through the air as he hacked them down.
After the last wolf was dispatched, I stood panting in the clearing, My sword dripping with wolf blood.
