OBSERVATIONS OF THE INNER PLANETS - DR. AVA MARIAN
DATE: 7TH NOVEMBER, 2145
This morning from of our new home out here in the Kuiper Belt, I peered through the viewing lenses of the high-magnification telescope, and observed at long last our original homes once again. The three planets — Earth, Mars, and Venus.
Though they are not without change.
Where once Mars was covered in the dusty red of its deserts, and the clouds of Venus glowed ever brightly into the dark abyss; both now find themselves home to azure seas, grassy lands, and streaks of soft white clouds.
The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Where once only the lone pale blue dot that was Earth shone out in eerie sapphire glow — now three blue dots orbit our star in intertwined dance.
As a woman of science, I should believe that no such sight should be possible, and that my eyes must deceive me. Yet in such an era of impossibilities, I dare say that we must admit that the technology of our interstellar invaders borders not only on the edge of science, but so far outside the limits of rational knowledge that we can only call it but magic.
And presented with the wielders of such magic, I propose that we call them only but a suitable title: Sculptors.
