Zayn hoped to help as many people as possible, but he was unsure how much of the Primordial Pantheon noticed his influence and interference.
Did they notice that he was changing the future in the first place? Did they even know about him and that he retained his memories?
‘Wait. Did they retain their memories as well? They should have, right?’ Zayn tilted his head, ‘Since I retained my memories, they should have as well…or am I missing something?’
There were still too many mysteries about his trip back in time, but he had no answers. Zayn was clueless, which is also why he felt he had to be a little careful about acting high-class. The videos and guides Zayn released were only published after he ‘found out’ these facts in Forgotten Lands. That meant he released the guides and videos related to the Card Sets only after he formed the Demonic Treant Card Set.
The other guides and videos were released after similar instances. It was a bit annoying, but Zayn didn’t know if anyone was watching him from the Primordial Pantheon. If they noticed that he remembered the last cycle, the Primordial Pantheon might change something about the domains’ descent. Zayn wanted to prevent that to know exactly what he had to do to obliterate the threats all over Earth with his knowledge of the future event.
However, he knew he would fail if he stayed out of the limelight. His existence would be unraveled sooner or later because his ambitions were too great to achieve while staying hidden in the shadows.
Zayn wanted to stop the Primordial Pantheon. Of course, he had to go all-out to stop them. A mortal is trying to stop dozens of Gods from attaining their goal. That was preposterous!
Zayn chuckled lightly. He had many questions but not a single answer.
He figured there was no need to waste time thinking about things with no answer. He would have to wait until the Primordial Pantheon made their move to respond accordingly.
One way or another, Zayn was glad he had the means to change the future. His mother changed among the most due to his influence and constant interceptions. His mother stayed longer in Forgotten Lands than most. She was a diligent apprentice and experimented much as long as Zayn provided enough materials.
Nonetheless, she was still skeptical about whether Forgotten Lands would stay long on the market or if it would suddenly disappear. Zayn chuckled when he heard her doubt the first time. His mother was correct. Forgotten Lands, the game, would disappear. It was just that the game would turn into reality.
Despite her skepticism, Stephanie Dexter understood why Zayn and the other Players of Forgotten Lands were so drawn to the game. Everything felt real. It was almost like fantasy aspects merged with reality.
However, it was Old Farthma’s presence that influenced Stephanie the most. It had the most significant impact on her. After all, Stephanie Dexter never had a mother or a mother figure.
Old Farthma was the first woman who resembled a mother figure with her patient teachings and brisk behavior. She was all Stephanie Dexter had been hoping for when she was younger.
‘I wonder if we can find Old Farthma when the Gods’ domains descend.’
Forgotten Lands was merely a replica of the domains’ data. Old Farthma in Forgotten Lands was a perfect replica of the real Old Farthma, somewhere in the universe. Zayn hadn’t met her in the past, but he couldn’t help but feel weird at the thought of encountering some of the game characters in reality.
‘She won’t remember us even if we find her. But does that matter? Old Farthma will be the same.’
Zayn felt a bit sorry for his mother. She was getting attached to Old Farthma. That was not what he intended. However, there was nothing Zayn could do about it. His mother knew that Forgotten Lands was merely a game.
‘Mom will be fine. Get your act together!’
There were more important things to take care of!
Zayn slapped his cheeks firmly and focused back on his task.

He found a suitable Class Path and had to grind more Soul Essences to initiate the Path integration.
Zayn’s mind searched the information he’d acquired from researching the Grandmagus’ books for the last few weeks. There might not have been any helpful information related to Worldbridges, but he found several valuable pieces of information about Class Paths, unique Cards, monsters, and so on.
There were enough things Zayn never had the chance to learn before. It was a first and something he could abuse in Forgotten Lands, especially the Beastarium, the intel related to some realms, and a specific Card Set that could be acquired by hunting the monsters of the Arylin Forest and the Tower of Nature.
The first time Zayn heard about the Card Set, he immediately set out to collect the necessary Cards. A Card Set of three Cards was already considered rare and hard to procure. However, a Card Set of five Cards was a true rarity. The Card Set might occupy five Card Slots, with some Cards being less useful for specific tasks, but the overall value of the Card Set was tremendous.
The Card Set he’d procured was also how he managed to hunt 10 Regional Bosses within 24 hours. It was one of his greatest achievements in the last few weeks.
He was proud of it.

The Nature Card Set was beautiful. It was an amazing Card Set, an extraordinary treasure! Once activated, the Cards of the Card Set would unleash the power as if they were at Level 77, therefore breaking and exceeding the limit of most linked Cards.
The potency of all Cards within the Nature Card Set increased exponentially. At this point, even the two Common Cards were stronger than most high-leveled Uncommon Cards.
The Nature Card Set of Five Cards didn’t even pale compared to many Epic Cards! The Card Set was just as valuable. In fact, for some collectors, it would be more valuable, even if the Nature Card Set was only considered an Uncommon+ Card Set.
It was not easy to acquire the Card Set, either. Zayn had to evolve Rapid Plant Growth to Florakinesis and unlock certain upgrade conditions for Aegis Natura and Root Strike to meet the requirements to form the Card Set of Five. Of course, Zayn didn’t hesitate to spend several days upgrading Rapid Plant Growth and experimenting to unlock the upgrade requirements for Root Strike and Aegis Natura.
It was unfortunate, but it took even longer to collect the Origin Lifeforce Card. Zayn collected enough Rare Card Shards from the Tower of Nature’s Nightmare Difficulty to create the Origin Lifeforce Card with some of the tricks mentioned in the Grandmagus’ books.
Forming the Nature Card Set required the separation of the Demonic Treant Card Set. The process destroyed the Iron Bark Card. That was unfortunate, but it didn’t matter. He didn’t require Iron Bark now that his Vitality was much higher than others, thanks to Origin Lifeforce.
Other Players had already chosen their Class Path to move further ahead.
Some Players found their way to the closest city or paths into underground settlements. Others were invited to noble estates, where they were employed in exchange for powerful Uncommon and Rare Cards.
There was even someone who procured an Epic Card.
However, Zayn didn’t feel any pressure. There was no need to rush anything. He would get his high-ranked Cards soon enough.
If anything, he was confident that everything was going according to plan, more or less. He didn’t expect to find an easy solution to the Worldbridge problem in the first place. Everything was fine.
He still had five months left before the game would turn into reality.
