The building he had in mind was a large building complex that should fit the members of the Golden Age workshop. The building complex was located on the city’s outskirts, with a nearby park to go for a run and a connecting bus that led straight to the Dragon Lair Gym. It was also possible to go for a run through the park to reach the Dragon Lair Gym in a few minutes.
In Zayn’s opinion, a building complex for his Guild’s workshop was necessary to train as many Elite Players as possible. As long as he could observe their training regimen, Zayn could check how much they improved and when it was time to increase the difficulty of their workouts.
Golden Age’s workshop would have several Olympus Pods, various B-rank Nutrition Solutions, personal instructors and cooks, and other benefits. It would have everything needed to change the future—at least, that was what Zayn planned.
Unfortunately, purchasing a building complex in the city and equipping it with more than a dozen Olympus Pods was far from cheap. The building complex of his interest had eight floors, each as large as 500 square meters. It had been a student dorm in the past until the owner redeveloped it into 80 decent-sized apartments.
Zayn would have to redevelop the building again to create enough space for everyone to live together. After all, one of the most important aspects of creating the Golden Age workshop was to instill teamwork and camaraderie into the hearts of the workshop members.
Zayn could afford to purchase the building but was not a billionaire. He lacked the funds to buy the equipment to transform the building structure into the perfect workshop.
However, that was not as much of an issue as Zayn expected it to be.
The merchant, Millenia, texted actively with Zayn to procure potions from Old Farthma and Stephanie Dexter. He was also very interested in Igor Brecht’s most recent works and purchased everything for a high price. Millenia never hesitated to purchase any of Zayn’s goods. He was willing to overpay if necessary to remain in Zayn’s good books.
Zayn couldn’t tell what Millenia was thinking most of the time, but he remembered that Millenia was known for his incredible instincts and truffle nose. Apparently, Millenia was a monster when picking out valuable ‘products’. The product, in this case, was Zayn and everything he touched. That was how it felt when Millenia messaged him only a few hours after Golden Age had been established.
Millenia wanted to invest in the Golden Age workshop and become its main investor.
[Millenia – We can go over the contract later. For now, all you need to know is that my investment is mainly based on the potential I see in you. I want to be part of the Golden Age to observe your actions. You might think that my actions make no sense, but I’m fairly confident that I’m doing the right thing by supporting you with the only thing I have – Money. I smell money and power from you. Please don’t disappoint me.]
His reasoning was confusing, and his actions made Zayn think that Millenia might also remember the last cycle. However, the clues were inconclusive. Zayn could claim that Millenia remembered the previous cycle when Millenia had always been known as a confusing, yet oddly successful, merchant.
Zayn had no reason to reject Millenia’s proposal. Millenia didn’t want management power or veto rights over Golden Age’s decision. He only desired exclusive information about Zayn’s training regimen, access to his vast knowledge of Forgotten Lands, and all questions answered whenever he asked something.
The latter could come back biting him, but Zayn wasn’t too worried. He was more focused on Millenia’s huge investment. Thanks to the investment, Zayn managed to purchase the building complex and transform it into Golden Age’s workshop in a matter of days. He’d never handled this much money before, yet Zayn didn’t feel much. The money was in his bank account for a few minutes before it evaporated again.
Zayn stood in front of the building complex, the corner of his lips tugging upward. The building complex was a towering structure with multiple interconnected buildings. The facade had been cleaned recently, highlighting its pristine white color. Rows of neatly arranged windows provided glimpses into the buildings.

The complex is surrounded by well-maintained landscaping with pathways leading to the various entrances. Common areas where everyone could meet up to chat, train, and socialize could be seen everywhere. They would be crucial in fostering Golden Age’s atmosphere and the feeling of unity.e
Zayn liked the functional architecture of the building complex. It exhibited some beautifully designed elements that enhanced the building’s aesthetics, but there wasn’t too much of it. The most prominent aspect was still the vast, golden signboard saying [Golden Age]
Zayn couldn’t help but smile when he saw how far he had gotten in such a short time. He had yet to handle many issues, but he was slowly getting there.
He entered the building and observed the workers tirelessly renovating the interior. Golden Age’s workshop was separated into several districts. They had a management department, a Blacksmithing department led by Igor Brecth, and an Alchemy department led by Stephany Dexter and Old Farthma. Then, there would be several districts and departments related to Golden Age’s combat force.
Golden Age needed teams focused on grinding Soul Essences, Cards, and other resources. A department for talented beginners was also necessary. The Rookie Team would nourish new Forgotten Lands Players with great potential. Last but not least were the Common and Elite Players of the Golden Age.
Zayn had various plans stored in the back of his mind, but he needed more time and members to implement them. He couldn’t rush anything now that more applications reached him. Hundreds of Players had already applied to Golden Age, yet Zayn didn’t accept anyone.
Instead, he forwarded the applications to his brothers while congratulating them.
[Hereby, I will announce my lovely brothers as the left and right hand of Golden Age’s Guildmaster. Congratulations! Now slave away for me~]
Zayn smiled at the message he’d thrown into the family’s group chat before he turned to another chat. Golden Age’s group chat had been created a few hours ago, but the members were already going crazy. Zayn noticed that Storm Monarch and the others cursed everyone and everything. They were having a hard time dealing with the Magma Goblins.
Zayn was amused. He expected them to struggle—that was the whole point. Zayn wanted them to struggle and surpass his expectations if possible.
‘Since everyone is already complaining…how about I motivate them?’
He was unsure if his plan would work, but he hoped that the former members of White Clover would understand the importance of his sentence. A few minutes later, he typed a message in the guild’s channel and pressed send.
[Hello, everyone. I noticed that some of you have been cursing me a lot in the last few hours. That’s totally fine, but I feel like you will stop cursing me soon. In today’s announcement, I proclaim that whoever improves the most in the next few days will be rewarded with three Uncommon Cards of his/her choice. I will personally procure the Uncommon Cards no matter how rare and expensive they are!]
Some Uncommon Cards were extremely difficult to procure. These included Summoning Cards, unique Elemental Spell Cards, passive Boost Cards, Healing Cards, and so on.
Three ‘rare’ Uncommon Cards were worth a fortune, especially if they suited their playstyle perfectly.
[Revaer: But why do we have to fight as well? I’m an Alchemist?]
Zayn raised an eyebrow at the message. Why the hell was an Alchemist in the underground cave?
[Didn’t I tell all non-combat Players to meet up with Old Farthma, Igor Brecht, and the others?]
[Revaer: No…]
“Oh…”
[Meet up with Old Farthma, Igor Brecht, and the others. They will teach you everything you have to know. It slipped my mind that White Clover wasn’t a guild made entirely of combatants.]
“Well. That is embarrassing.”
He cleared his throat and stared at his phone as he typed another message.
[Either way. I’m looking for a Guildhall to spread Golden Age’s prestige throughout Forgotten Lands. Stay tuned and grow stronger. We will meet again soon. Don’t disappoint me!]
He closed the messenger and went to the top floor, where his office was located. The office wasn’t anything special. Zayn spread a few pieces of furniture through the office, such as an office table, two shelves, a computer for research, and so forth. But the most important was his Olympus Pod. It had already been installed in his office, as it should.
He filled the cooler of the Olympus Pod with three B-rank Nutrition Solutions and returned to Forgotten Lands. It was about time that he finished his next mission.
It was time to travel to Spyro.
