AwesomeEllie here, lowering the fourth wall for a moment to say that I… did not get a chapter written in time for today. I have about half a chapter, but this past week has been busy for me and the rest did not materialize. On Monday I realized that I had three weeks until I move across country, and I’m totally not ready yet!

And on top of that, my story has not been getting released for that long, chronologically. I’m some 22.5, 23 chapters in, but I’ve not even been releasing for a month and a half! Which is crazy! Writeathon’s whole thing is not allowing any backlog and that means I don’t yet have a buffer zone for disruption, but I haven’t been releasing long enough to justify a character bio list info chapter, nor do I exactly have the readership to do a Q&A request chapter.

At the same time, I don’t want to just go silent for a week and have folks think I’ve fully vanished off the face of the earth (Scienceland) either. Thus, this post. Come next week and I actually have a chapter ready, I’ll be yanking this one off and it’ll be back to your regularly scheduled disaster lesbian lizards (Will They Kiss???). I apologize for that delay, don’t go anywhere yet!
