I still remember what happened afterward. As the coward I seemed to be, I ran away from the sight, fearing what could happen to me. It hasn't been long since what happened in the orphanage. Nothing has changed inside of me from before, I wonder if it will ever. Miss Adler fainted, but I still ran, I couldn't even help her to repay her for her overwhelming kindness. Her pastry creations were always even sweeter than the sweet loaf I used to get every winter.
I hid around town for several days, gathering information about what was happening and learning about the incident. Miss Adler, as she is, continued to search for me and somehow managed to forgive the man who struck her. The man was alive and almost fully recovered, and fortunately was sent to the station and community service hours. Since nobody cared to know my face except Miss Adler, and the fact that my hair was overgrown, I was able to continue working in the smithery undetected.

It was stupid of me to act so suspiciously, luckily no one noticed nor cared about me especially since I was low-profile. The only thing I did do during this time period was training. After all, just manifesting your ability doesn't mean you know the limitations immediately. All you truly know is what it is you can do.
