Chaos filled the dome as many people were seen discussing the turn of events as the person looking like Elna was standing right before them. It has been over four hundred years since she disappeared.
“Who is this half-elf,” Pasci asked as his voice echoed in the hall silencing everybody.
“This is Gilly, Elna’s daughter,” Katherine answered, she too was enjoying they fray of emotion on the opposing faction.
“How is this possible?” Garamil asked as his patience thinned.
“Do you have proof” the chief of To asked. Gilly was just obeying instructions given beforehand. Katherine and Iylin had told Mizin to put up a show to see the queen’s reaction.
Gilly did not like the expression of some of the elders, especially Pasci's, who was probing her strength since he was almost at the demigod class. Hana who was neutral, did not like the idea of a half elf inheriting the royal blood line.
“Gilly, show them,” Mizin beckoned as she used her strength to push all the sense that were scanning Gilly.
The pressure she was feeling vanished. From the way some looked, she had an idea of how some viewed her and how they had even viewed her mother. Strange emotions coursed through her and a memory flashed in her head. A blue elf with a striking resemblance to her from her memory patted her head and smiled. She comforted the small crying girl telling her to use her strength when the time is right.
At this time, Gilly’s eyes were closed as tears streamed down her face. She did not know how to describe how she felt or who to tell; she stood motionless within the chaos and fingers pointing at her. Pasci and the Queen had regained their composure and began to beckon on Mizin for proof.
Mizin ignored all their word as she set up a barrier to protect Gilly. The crowd, getting impatient began raising their voices, raining curses down on Gilly. Katherine did not stop them, she just looked at Elin and smiled. Elin seeing this, shook her head as her eyes widened, her face contorting like someone who saw a demon.
In that moment, a faint glow came from Gilly's skin as shimmery blue patterns appeared on her face. The noisy hall gradually calmed down as the glow increased in intensity.
“Is that all? Is this yo-” Pasci had tried to speak when a shockwave exploded, with Gilly at the center shattering the barrier. Mizin and Garamil who were the closest were pushed back few steps.

Even Katherine was shocked, Only Elna’s mother had such a terrifying aura and field. The pressure increased as Gilly's feet lifted off the ground. The vine dome gave off a golden glow, and the floor released white particle of light. Gradually everyone had to put up a barrier. Sai who was bound by the vines began to pant as the pressure increased.
A hum was noticed, only perceptible at first by the Core Royal Family Members present -Katherine, Elin, Snow, Iylin, Hana and Garamil - but now it was clear and heard by all.
“The world tree is beckoning her,” Hana shouted. Through the hole in the dome, the World Tree was visible, as it was pulsating with golden light.
The root shot up from the ground, forming a seat just below Gilly. The pressure decreased as fell back, casually sitting. Katherine's maniacal laughter boomed under the dome, Mizin surprised that she too was also suppressed. Elin, unable to maintain any form of composure, was on the floor shaking; Garamil could no longer step forward, his hands shaking as fear was sketched all over him.
Ponu was the only one who nodded in approval, Iylin and Snow too were also shaking. Pasci on the other hand, had lost consciousness and fallen on her knees. “
Good, good, good!” Catherine said, applauding loudly as she stepped forward. Even Valmor and Ephini were also fear stricken, unable to recognise the young girl that had stayed with them these past months.
“Young one.”
A deep old voice was heard, causing everyone's head to buzz, as the voice seemed to come from one’s soul. It shook the dome slightly as Gilly recovered not knowing why people were staring at her with fear. She heard the voice and instinctively touched the chair she sat on.
“I see so she is dead,” it was filled with sadness.
“World Tree!” Catherine said, genuflecting immediately. Everyone who saw her followed suit, including the queen.
This was a higher entity who oversaw the two Councils governing the world. It had been asleep since Elna went missing and finally woken up when it sensed Gilly’s aura.
“I see so that is your state, seems I was not on time," he sounded disappointed when those word were uttered.
“Young one you must find the key to your sealed memories, you must travel and explore this world. Only then will you find it”. This was followed by a pause, only a few understood what this meant.
“Death fox, I see you are still well. Since you knew her mother, lead her well. Katherine, you have done well keeping eye on that problem child." Elin grimaced, shivering in fear and Garamil shook his head.
“Seras' little one, I see Elim is also gone. How unfortunate to lose two while I was gone in slumber.
"Young one of Seras, you must protect that offspring, she would usher in a new age”. The gravity of those words was great as the new Elven leader was already decided.
“Elin," the Queen's shaking grew on hearing her name.
"Elin, do not make the same mistake twice.
“Now I have awoken, I will keep watch over this world.”
The voice went silent and did not speak again. Moments later, they all calmed their nerves, a few raising their heads to look at Gilly, some in awe were in awe others with a hint of fear and dismay, but no one dared to speak up.
“This concludes the meeting."
The Queen hurriedly stood up, and strut out of the hall, hurriedly with Pasci and some elders following suit.Garamil ignored them and went before Gilly, kneeling down in front of where she sat. He had a large build so his face was in front of hers even though he was on one knee. He patted her head smiling, “welcome to Elador”. This was the first kindness she had received outside the people she knew.
“Gilly, this is your uncle Garamil."
Gilly was stunned, she finally met a family member. Ephini and Valmor approached Gilly smiling, they felt awkward after seeing Gilly’s hidden strength and the World Tree's recognition. Many others gradually approached her with Katherine observing from her seat. She was happy at the turn of event but also disappointed at Mizin training her. Shaking her head, she decided to join the rest.
