A piercing pain spread across my head, there was a strange pressure on my chest. I couldn’t identify it because my eyes were covered in blood. The pain in my eyes was beyond anything I could imagine. I wanted to scream but it wasn’t an option. I felt hot air coming to my face like someone’s breathing. “Oh, I’m going to enjoy this moment.” Ruth said above me. Then I remembered everything. She really meant it.
“What– are yuu go— to do after carving off my face?” I forced my throat to speak. “kill you then take your body.” She said quietly. “Oh, you’re going to have a hard time with that because there are a lot of people who want my body, especially the corpse. They even have a trigger that alarms them when I have pass on. So that they can claim my body.” The itching feeling in my eyes got worse but I couldn’t do anything because my hands are currently immobile. “Oh I'd like to see them try. Do you think this is my original body?” She asked, demanding an answer. “Not one bit.” I said quickly.
“Good let’s start by carving off that beautiful face of yours.” I could feel the sharp edges of a blade on my face. Even with the slightest touch I could feel my skin break giving way for it.
There was a pool of blood under me. I don't know whose blood it is. Maybe it’s mine because I feel dizzy probably from lack of blood. “Beth— you… I just wanted to…” Ruth stumbled on her words before collapsing on me. But she whispered something to my ear.
I CURSE YOU TO FATE YOU WILL NEVER EXPECT

The pain in my head increased when I sat up. My vision came back but it ‘was blurry, Ruth was lying lifeless on a pool of blood I guess the blood wasn’t mine after all. Rite body was scattered across the room. One of the twins' bodies was beyond recognition; the other one was nowhere to be found. They’re probably buried under the rumbles. The entire place was ravaged, Baldwin got the entertainment of his life. My stomach ached with pain I placed my hand on it, something liquid wet my palm, blood. My energy was all drained, no spells are possible at state I am. I mustered all the strength my body could give and stood up. Leaving the massive hall, my eyes couldn’t pick up anything only the trail of magical essence that someone left it’s probably Baldwin. I staggered through the hallway, the lack of magical energy in my body made me nauseous. This is one of the reasons I tried to absorb the magical content from that creature.
The trail leads to a room with a blue door without a handle. The door opened up for me for reasons I can’t comprehend but I went in regardless. The room was dark, there was something inside. I’m not sure if it qualifies as a person. It was wrapped in chains, deformed and misshapen body. Tubes of many sizes stuck to his body. How can someone live like this? The thought crossed my mind. There’s only one person who can be miserable as this, Baldwin. His fishlike eyes were fixed on me.
He spoke directly to my mind because his mouth was sewed up. I didn’t reply, the room smells of blood and sour grapes. They oddly made my stomach growl. “Chance you might reconcile with Adbula.” His fish eyes widened, the tubes laced to his body moved aggressively.

I took as much energy my body could sustain. This is the first time we have met but my body felt indifferent to that. Just like the massive man, Tome, it felt I knew him too. My body felt weird, the scenery was spinning. If I hadn’t absorbed Baldwin's magical essence I'd probably be dead right now. I staggered into the hallway, the mark on my wrist had disappeared. No one except me is in this mansion, considering there’s no harm whatsoever, I passed out. I woke up to an electric feeling on my palms. My palms were locked with another person’s hand. The hands were soft and maybe relieving? Golden hair, long delicate eyelashes, faint and vibrant pink lips and an inducing violet eyes. She was beautiful.
“Did you kill my da—” She stopped mid sentence and looked at me for an oddly long time. “Did you kill Baldwin?” She asked quietly, her eyes were filled with something I can’t just put my finger on. I didn’t reply. She moved her gaze away from me so that I couldn’t see her face. A faint cry came from her direction. “I saved you by feeding you with my life force, the world will be meaningless for me without him, farewell Beth.” She closed her eyes. The girl’s chest stopped moving. I moved my gaze away from her and stared at the ceiling, which is identical to the one at the TABLE room. This has just been some weird as hell day.
It all came from me running away from Adbula protection and now the letter. My stubbornness gave me a huge responsibility to handle.
“Zu’dezr Tu’” A portal materialized above me, spitting out the letter from Adbula. The air was suddenly cold, I could feel the dryness of my lips, the sweet scent the girl next to me emits ravaged my nose. I broke the seal on the letter.

Should we intervene?
Why so?
This is isn’t our problem
But it might be if it continue this way
These creatures romanticism of chaos is quite fascinating
We will leave them for now.

“It’s time to start, the seal has been broken.” Mikea smirks. The rest of the faces in the room nod.

The air at Rexan became chilly, there was a shift in the wind. Razarth looked up at the pink sky. Something’s changed, he thought.

Down the depth of the other realm, the pit filled with the blackness of emotions for centuries rumbled. Beings that were asleep for millennials awoken.

“The shift is here, where do you think the story will go from here?” Moir asked, Ziarat who was struggling to stay awake answered. “I really don’t know, can you tell?” Moir shrugged while looking at ziarat. “I might have an idea but I really don’t know.” Ziarat, now fully awake, replied. “There’s nothing we can do but observe.” Yeah that’s right Moir thought.
