Chapter 70: Green Lord
Ships near Green Twinkle were sending their congratulations and money offers for the captured animals. Starting from 10.000 for each and ending with 100.000.
Kutch's prediction was a great fortune. Not only did he create a good strategy to penetrate the cave but he knew that the team could gather all of the apes inside of the cage. The team of the green ship was able to achieve two impossible things at once.
First of all, they won the war against a fierce enemy utilizing excellent tactics, the right team members, and army equipment. But the best part of the victory was that now they could take home all 100 animals which was a rare deed.
The law for hunters stated that they could capture 100 animals of one species, but there were some limitations to the law. No one could take away only males or females, as well as only babies or old members of the race. If a team of hunters captured 100 males they could not claim them.
But Kutch's team gathered every single ape inside of the cave and could easily get 100 animals with them. It would just be the mix of gender and age.
Envy overfill the hunters nearby. Some even called the regulation to control the green ship's catch.
-----
On the Green planet, Safo told the story of the yellow banana and silly sacrifices of the ape colony.
“Ahhaha”
“Haha. Are they really? What are you going to do with that banana now? We can control all of them if we use it.” Kutch made a point to manipulate the apes’ behavior back in the New Tenga by using the banana. Apes could be more obedient and cooperative.
Safo finally took out his mask and peeled off the banana. The peel was a bit crusty, not like regular bananas from Earth. And the actual fruit was red and had a watery texture. Juicy fruit satisfied his hunger that was rising with all that waste of energy. Safo forgot his snack bag in the cave, so the banana was something of a blessing to him. He gobbled it in two bites.
“It is good, not ‘die for it - good’ but good,” Safo said half jested. While Safo Nur rested two dark green planes dropped the cages down. They also delivered the rest of the equipment that the team will need. Several crew members landed to help.
As soon as they put on their communication devices, voices of congratulation came shouting at them.
"You did it, guy. You did it. No, we did it! You bastard Kutch, how did you know? How did you know that the guarding apes outside will all go inside if Safo will try to capture them?" Captain Seaghoul didn't even try to lower his voice. He was excited to witness that they were the first hunter to go so far in the canyon of green apes.
"This is not my first time in this canyon. And also I watched many others. I saw their mistakes as well as learned about these apes for a long time. Once I saw that some people tried to drill the canyon from the top to the bottom. And I saw how all of the members of the colony came after them. It gave me the idea that monkeys want to defend the cave more than they want to defend themselves. And I was right." For Kutch it was a battle of honor, he pledged to himself that one day he would besiege the canyon.
Kutch made a deep research on the matter and found many videos of hunters trying to drill or dig from another side of the canyon only to face the whole colony of angry apes. When he saw Safo's abilities his plan hatched.
"Damn, man, you are good. I give you that. We have hundreds of envy eyes over here in the orbit." Captan Seaghoul watched the regulators descending to the area. "Do you guys see that?"

"Yes, Captain. We didn't break any laws and even didn't kill any of the animals so we will be fine." Kutch was confident after a glorious victory.
Regulators came running to check if everything was according to the laws. They asked Dost to open the shield and went in to check the equipment for the poison gas.
After ensuring that the team played fair they were allowed to gather the animals, even helped them, making sure to pick mixed animals. In the end, there were 100 animals in the cages with over four hundred left in the cave.
15 mature males, 15 mature females, 15 old males, 15 old females, 20 young males, and 20 young female apes had been teleported to the ship.
While everyone was busy picking and transporting animals Safo went inside of the dome made of greenery once more just to make sure that there was nothing more. He had a feeling that something was amiss.
Upon entering the place Safo saw that the chief was still there where Safo left him. Safo crouched down to examine the root that created the banana. Nothing unusual was on sight at first, Safo started to dig with his hands.
Suddenly a thin vine wrapped his wrist as if it was growing on a fast-forward movie.
"YOU--" the loud voice rang in Safo's head, caught by surprise Safo jolted and pulled back his hand cutting off the fragile vine.
'What the fuc*?'
"Did you hear that, Luna?" Safo was genuinely shocked, he didn't want to believe that the plant talked to him. And talked in a rude manner.
{"No. Is this tree alive? Is it talking? What does it say?" Luna had a million worried questions. She saw the vine moving and was on alert.
"Let's see." Safo stuck his hand in the soil again, the same happened, vine wrapped his wrist.
"You destroyed my creation." A deep voice, almost thundering his mind. "It took me thousands of sacrifices to create it. You will suffer from consuming it."
"What sacrifices, you killed monkeys to grow the banana?" As soon as Safo finished his words he felt heavy, his mind was diving into something, somewhere unknown. In a white background images appeared and changed each other.
The first one was the image of a green plant, weak and thin. The next image replaced it and pictured that the plant started growing and an animal dropped on it, almost killing the plant. The images started to change quickly. The animal was dead. The plant grew inside of the animal and used it as a nutrition base. After finishing with the animal, the plant was strong and firm, it sought other animals. Insects were the most common diet, with rare occasions of small rats and birds.
The plant grew big and had a mind of its own, copied from the brains of the victim animals. In a thousand years, the plant ate all the living organisms in the vicinity and learned to move to a different place.
Finally finding a home inside of a cave the plant stretched its roots and vines to attract prey. Alas, it could develop further, animals could give him enough nutrition anymore, it needed new species.
That was when hunters came to the planet. Delicious hunter with a much more complex brain. It cracked open their skull and feasted on their rich with neurons grey and white substance. Higher intellect species were the best food for it.
The plant spread its veins all over the planet in numerous places creating numerous traps. Many animals were serving him, delivering the fallen sapient creatures. But it had no way to evolve, only to create something more complex than itself, and so he did.
The plant chose the most fortified canyon and began gathering the most vitamins, nutritions, and minerals to give birth to a next-level plant. Which could walk and hunt the hunter on its own.
The brain matter was almost done when somebody took from the grasps of the plant.
"Give it to me!" The plant demanded in Safo's head. It screamed furiously.
"I'm sorry. I ate it. I know I have to stop eating suspicious objects which are usually somebody's children. But it is gone." Safo recalled how he met Luna.
The moment of silence and the plant placed its words inside of Safo's head once more. "Then go away. I can't consume all of the creatures that are in the cave. So go let me be."
This time Safo felt something, he felt the plant's sadness. It took him several thousand years to grow himself and to overtake the planet and a thousand years to create a small banana. Only to be eaten by some random hunter.
"I have an idea, I will help you. Do you have a name?" Then Safo and the plant spend nearly ten minutes discussing the concept of a name.
"I will call you the 'Green Lord'. This whole planet will be yours, but unfortunately, you will have to create trees like you without using the brains of the hunters. They won't be coming here anymore. So take it slow and create your own civilization." Safo went out to talk with the leader of the regulators about the mistake that had happened.
Before that he made sure that the 100 apes had been already teleported to his ship.
