Chapter 17: Selection effects

I continued to walk around among all the colors in which the balls of light that spread on all sides spread throughout the black prison where I and the human were present. Without a doubt, he was hovering over me and looking through the balls to find something. In the same breath we didn't take, each of us was simply looking for the color that interested us. Only because of what was engraved there, engraved for us to do.

I lost track of time when they were just like in the mirror of a dream among all the different colors, but my eyes locked on a strange and unique ball of light that stood, glowing a deeper black color than the room itself. To which I approached the blackest glow and the ball of light reacted back and clung to me. I was scared for a second but I didn't feel anything from his presence on me.

After that, I continued walking around the place, and two more colors were more familiar to my eyes - one of them glowed green, like the vegetation outside that we walked around most of the time, and with a feeling of home. The other one next to him, another pink orb glowed that resembled the color of flowers that bloomed similar to the flowers I remember seeing before I came here imprisoned with the human.

These orbs clung to me as well when I approached them and were attracted to the black ball of light hovering next to me. All three balls hovered with each other around me, as if they were curious about me. I advanced among all the other lights and glows before I saw the human land close to me, and with him also floated me three colors, different from mine - blue, like the sea I remember walking by once, red, which reminds me of some ripe fruits that were on the ground, and purple which also reminds me of a lot of blossoms.

"I see you also chose different balls, three like me" he looked at me before looking around at the surroundings where the balls of light were still shining. At the same slow pace, as we advanced towards the invisible barrier, the colored orbs for a quiet delicacy disappeared together if they glowed, causing the place to get darker and darker with each step the human and I took toward the invisible barrier until we reached it and the room darkened to the usual level I know.

Everything except the balls of light we chose.

Nothing happened while we just stood there looking around.

"I think we chose the wrong ones" he suddenly said while looking at me, but I didn't say anything except that I was staring at the invisible barrier.

The inscription and its engravings when he said his words began to disappear and be swallowed into himself and began to be replaced by another inscription:

----------------------------------------

Very interesting choices, with very few clichés among them.

It's so obvious, but along with this, I accept this.

----------------------------------------

At the same moment that I finished understanding what was engraved there or whatever it was, the orbs of light began to detach from both of us, hovering for several moments above us, before they were swallowed up into the invisible barrier and drastically changed the inscription:

----------------------------------------

The spirits you chose each of them symbolizes their point of view:

The red - blood of life with which they connect to every beat in which they flow

The blue - the sky that always colors the spaces and the horizon of the sea and the land.

The purple - the unnatural beauty that life can offer.

The black - the darkness that always returns every day, and follows life like death.

The green - the vegetation on which life thrives and gives the foundation to stand on.

The pink - the desire to move on and do what is necessary to move on.

Each spirit is one law in which its color symbolizes many, but what you have chosen cannot explain more than one thing. Each spirit is born from the need to symbolize this law and gives the local reality a feeling that there is an interaction with them and therefore there is almost no one who can see them.

Your connection with the spirits is complete!

The ability "Shamanism" was created following the selection of the types of spirits from the direction of life.

"Druidism" united with "Shamanism" and "Spirituality" to create an ability never seen before - "Animism"

The one who bridges nature and the living spirits at the same time, you are able not only to hear the nature around you and understand them but also to use them to your advantage.

You are the first to ever get this.

You have received a title due to your achievement - "Heir of Vyu'argani"

Congratulations!

Now I have to work a lot for it to take effect, thank you very much.

Have fun with your spirits,

bird and human troublemakers...

"Wait, what?! Is that why we had to choose colors? To determine what our relationship with the spirits will be. Let me see quickly"

He quickly floated in the direction of the wall with the information and ran between the newly added engravings before the body's eyes opened and with it, the outside world was seen once again, still on the same branch the body climbed earlier, as if nothing happened now.

I commanded the body to try to look for food while the human continued to look at things and began to speak:

"What is it? He started doing things to us - he decided that we would do it to get something and now we both have a title and we have fewer abilities. Not only that, I don't know who is writing to us in the field of vision, is he with us or against us, loves us, or Hates us? But he's pretty cheeky, if he'd at least help us figure out how to get out of here, I'd worship him even more."

He continued to mutter to himself as the body managed to find a fruit that was on the horizon and bit into it, letting the taste sensation flow into my mouth. But even that, the human just kept talking to him:

"Now we're able to communicate with spirits and ask for their help. It's... more interesting than I thought. It only means one thing - we can finally fight properly against these giant mice to show that I'm not to be messed with.... mmmm, us"

He chuckled for a moment before he looked at the invisible barrier and blurted out something else:

"I guess we can move on to another place... now that we can talk to spirits... maybe they can help us find a way out of this prison or at least understand why we're here in the first place, instead of relying on whoever writes to us about the field of vision of this imprisoned body ."

He hovered and blocked my field of vision and turned to me, waiting for an answer from me.

I looked at him, refusing to respond to him, I was quite tired of his mumbling and talking.

"Okay okay, to be honest, I don't know what we should do. Shall we continue on this rocky road?"

He waits for my answer, knowing that I know how to control the body and thus, I commanded the body to move forward on the stone path near.

The body went down and from there we continued to move forward on our stone path. On the way to where we don't know where it will take us, we came to a fork in the road again. There was no sign directing us to where each path would lead.

"Well, I leave that decision up to you"

I look at him stupidly:

[Why do you always let me choose?!]

"It's obvious why - you're the only one who can control this body. I touch the abilities and do something, but I have no control over where and how it will react. I hate that fact and so I have to let you choose what to do from here."

He made a good point that I hadn't thought of before, but still, he continues to do this.

"I guess if we keep going straight, we'll probably get to this big city that was at this crossroads... 'Launcester' or something like that."

We should go straight or go the other way... this is repeating itself too much...

[Why don't we summon a spirit that might help us on the way]

The human looked at me:

"Why would we summon a spirit just for this? They are ascended beings.. apparently. Didn't you see that it was written that they are the product of this world's laws? Do you think we should summon a spirit just for something as trivial as this?!

[Yes]

"I oppose it" he said as he looked at the invisible barrier

Should we really summon a spirit just for this?

Their large and powerful beaks are capable of causing quite a bit of damage and are adapted to the food they eat, but they will more often than not choose to flee rather than fight, even though they have no natural fear.

This is a bird that does not exist in this world and should not exist. There is nothing like her in this world.

Some say that they can understand their surroundings better than anything else, but this is not proven or disproved, it can be seen that sometimes their feathers change according to their mood and the state of the environment in which they live.
