A dream:
You find yourself in a small room that you recognize from a prior vision. The blistering heat from the flame keeps you from getting any closer. The figure still stands with its hand on whatever the near round object is in the fire. You can still hear the sizzling sound, that you can only assume is the blood from the hand against the heated object. The figure begins to whisper, or chant something under his breath. A light begins to shine from the top of the object a single point of light and as he whispers you can see the light begin to get brighter and spreading. You try to focus your vision and through the brightness of the flame and the heat coming off the object you can see some kind of script or letters appearing on the object in the brilliant light. Letters shining as they appear then letting out a constant light and maintaining after they appear. The script itself looks somewhat familiar, The script looks a bit like Draconic with its hard lines and straight shaped lettering but at the same time there are certain things that don't look anything like the Draconic that you know. You can't make any of it out. The lines of script seem to form rings on the surface of the object. Was he reading the words or was his chanting causing them to appear? The lines on the ground made of powder also begin to emit light. Starting with the rings further from the center each in turn begins to emit light. Each of them in turn also starting from the outside of the room towards the center begins to slowly lift off the ground and the fine powder still maintaining the rings and lines and writing as they now float midair a few feet off the ground. They all seem to float about half way up the height of the object in the fire. Some of the rings begin to rotate clockwise while others rotate the other direction. They spin slowly still floating in mid air emitting a still light. The lighted script continues to form rings around the object in the fire. The figure seems either oblivious to these changes or expectant of them. It makes to change to what it is doing.
As the final rings of script appear near the base of the object, you can barely make out their appearance from the brightness of the flame. The floating rings of fine dust begin to shift color and sparkle in different colors of light. All manner of reds and blues and green and even what seems like black sparkles being shed by it. The rings begin to spin a little faster and they start to emit a brilliant light. The whole room seems to be filled with light. You can see the walls of the room that you are in are solid stone blocks, in different manners of greys. You can see ahead of you, beyond the object in the fire is a long hallway that leaves this room and continues. The room itself is only 20- 30 feet wide all told. The figure standing there is clothed in a kind of leather armor its construction seems simple enough but sturdy and shows some signs of repair or combat. The figure stands a bit taller than you maybe a handful of inches. It has a hood covering its head and all you can see is the back of the figure barely illuminated against the shadow cast by the brilliant flame under the object in the fire. The figure still keeps his hand on the object and continues to mutter in a volume that you can not hear. The rings slow their spinning and come to a stop. The illuminated words on the object slowly begin to disappear and as they do the dust settles to the ground and when it comes in contact with the ground the powder ignites and with a brilliant shimmering rainbow of flame the rings of fine powder half on the ground half still floating in the air flash into a brilliant flame. There seems to be no sign or evidence of the powder once it is consumed only the puffs of colored smoke that still linger in the air. The fire under the object begins to shrink and the heat in the room dissipates some. The blinding stifling heat of the room reduced to the expected heat of a small camp fire. The script on the object has all but disappeared now as the light in the script dwindles to darkness to match the black surface of the object short what you can only assume is the burnt on blood of the figure. It now finishes whatever it was reading or quoting and pulls its hand away from the object. As it returns its hand to its side you can see that the cut on its hand is gone and that in opposition to what you might have expected there is no sign of burn or injury on the hand. The figure seems to lean over and place the side of its head on the object. It then quickly starts walking toward the hallway on the other side of the room and continues out of the room.
