v6c20 Meeting the Qualifications

-Wolf Territory. Midday. 3RD POV-

The resplendent Sun was at its zenith above the central plains of the Black Wolf Tribe. A colder wind blew northwest into the southern warmer currents producing more clouds as the day passed. The land around the Marshlands was tranquil, albeit riddled with corpses and death, but in the skies to the East, a flashy battle between Magical Beasts approached a deadly conclusion when a human girl was thrown off her mount. The closest wolves approaching from the East only caught glimpses of what was happening in the clouds and felt curious to investigate this possible new enemy, but they were hours away from arriving at the land below.

The thin girl wearing underwear rags, white armor patches on her arms, legs, and upper torso spun in the air a few times before controlling the crystallized light to adopt a horizontal posture which slowed down the fall. The High-Rank Ability served its purpose well, but now, it was only draining Mana while she just waited to be rescued. She determined that it was highly unlikely to slow down the fall in time with her current reserves, but even if she could land safely, the insects would come for her sooner or later and she would be defenseless. Fighting together was their best chance at defeating the enemies and surviving this predicament. But for now, she could collect Elementals, and ambient Mana as she waited.

*SwoOOoiiisshh~!* The white-haired girl plummeted to the ground at terminal velocity with the wind blowing noisily in her ears and drying the aqueous smears on her body. The gashes and bruises made her shiver in pain and bite her lips while scrunching her face, trying to hold back tears. "Huk! Huk! Ne-eefiii..." Shaila sniveled in anguish and turned her head right to the East. *Whiiisshh~!* She peered through the disheveled bloodied hair fluttering upwards and saw the distant blurry figures of a large mosquito-like creature over a smaller Dragon and another insect hovering on the side. Above them, their swarms of thousands of insects descended from the clouds like massive dark pillars. "Se-saaave meee...!" The girl called out to her partner anxiously, watching him drift away without taking action. She thought Nefiru was preparing to retaliate since he still had Magic reserves, but the ground getting uncomfortably closer with each passing second. Though if she knew that he had been crippled and knocked unconscious after shouting in her direction, she would despair.

Around sixty meters, East of the falling girl and at a lower altitude, the insect Queen that ambushed them was still latching onto the Dragon's back, forcing him to the ground while pecking at his head when she discovered the Mana Crystals sealed in the Collar. She stopped attacking and turned to the wounded Queen submissively following on the side. Her obsession with the Beast now made sense, and it seemed like she was waiting for a share out of respect for her Rank, but that would depend on the spoils. However, this odd Beast carrying treasures or its possible connections couldn't be underestimated. It's safer to make them disappear... The Senior Mokua determined, thinking of the creature that fell off and turned back to resume pecking at the Dragon before he woke up. *Bang! Bang! Brang! Spuik! Psh!!* Each impact, like a hammer, bent the metallic scales and sprayed blood from underneath. But she was actually aiming for his eyes! The Wind user was struggling to control the Dragon's body with his Magic floating about and hindering hers while the turbulence made it worse. The wounded Mokua could spare some Magic, but the older one was too prideful to ask for help.

*WHOOOASSHH!* The Dragon's body swayed in the wind smeared with blood and other bodily fluids as his tail bent upwards and his head floated loosely. "Uuunnrrrgh..." The young Dragon moaned, recovering his consciousness gradually and blinked a few times with a terrible headache as he faced the skies to the East. His brain activity increased until it reached a heightened state, and then started to recall what happened while sensing his surroundings. Fuck! He cursed, furious, and then struggled to flap his wings. "GRrrugh!" He groaned in pain, feeling tightly bound by the insect and desisted from any movement that was too painful. Instead, he mobilized the Magic he left around his neck before fainting to push back the lower Rank's while bringing out most of his reserves. "...!!" The Mokua noticed the scaly Beast was active again and tried blocked his Magic as much as she could. *Zuoomm~!* The two magic energies clashed, fighting for dominance over the front of the Dragon, and sending a Spiritual backlash to both of them. "Ugh!" "Kweek!" The two uttered uncomfortably, but the insect was mostly affected and conceded to his domain a second later.

The insect Queen changed tactics and launched a powerful stab at the weakened scales between the Beast's eyes, trying to injure or knock him out again. *Swissh~!* The Dragon sensed the incoming attack and decided to turn his head right 90 degrees while dodging. *Whiiish!* The javelin-like protrusion descended upon the rotating head with enough power to break through concrete and coincided with his left eye accidentally. Yet another mistake, Nefiru thought, watching the inch-thick needle-like tip approach his eye in a slowed motion as the reflection enlarged with the proximity. *Whoosh!* The insect's proboscis reached the tilted head moving out of the way and scratched the metallic scales above the eyes. *Krrrch--!* "Woah!" T-too close... Nefiru exclaimed as the arm-thick green pole continued downwards with great momentum and slowed down before pulling back up. But instead of retaliating, he used the interval to search for the girl.

Is it out of Elementals? The insect Queen wasn't detecting any Magic Arts coming from the Dragon and repeated the same attack on his head using Wind Magic on her body. *Whiiish! Whiiish! Fwish!* The Dragon calculated the trajectory with his senses and promptly moved his head before she attacked allowing him to dodge easily. Although she managed to brush his hair fibers or scratch his scales. "Kriiyaah!" The Mokua screeched infuriated and mobilized even more Magic from below as well as some for wind bombs. What an annoying Beast! To make her go all out when it was practically defeated...she was beginning to understand the struggles of her fellow Queen now. But still wasn't going to ask for help.

Nefiru scanned the skies desperately, but he couldn't find any traces of Shaila. Was she eaten? Did she fall to the ground already? Although there was a blind spot behind the insect on his back, he was still disoriented and unsure of what transpired in the tens of seconds he was asleep. He thought the worst and lowered his eyes losing hope. Shaila... The despairing thought resonated in his head with a strong intent and a heavy regret. Victory was taken from him. His Soul Mate was taken from him. The chance to save her was taken from him. He felt sick in the stomach and a knot hardened in his throat. I failed her... He affirmed as a surge of emotions welled up and tears swelled in his purple eyes. Although deep down, he kept a sliver of hope that she survived with her magic.

And while the Dragon lamented, the insect Queen prepared to take him out. *FWOOSH! FWOOSH!* Two Wind streams appeared on each side of his neck from below, intending to lock his head in place as the Mokua launched another attack from above. *Whiiish!* The long green shaft trusted down at the scaly head once again. But such attack was predictable and revealed where she would strike. *Swip!* The Dragon twisted his neck and pulled back his head almost two feet while opening his mouth. *Wuak! Swoosh!* The sturdy insect protrusion passed through his maw without touching any fang and she immediately pulled back up in a flash. But the scaly Beast snapped his jaws shut. *KLUAP! KRRRRR--!* "GRRR!" Damn you...Damn you...Damn you! The Dragon growled getting enraged while firmly holding the large creature. "Kwee?!!?" The Mokua was startled getting stuck like this for the first time. She stopped the wind streams from below and pulled back her Magic. She then moved her legs to break his other Wing and get him to open his mouth. *Kruk! Krack!* If it worked again, she had a chance to attack from inside his mouth where there weren't those pesky scales.

But the Dragon wasn't sitting still while the bones in his right wing creaked until they were about to snap. Nefiru regained his composure and used magnetism. *Swooong~!* He unfurled a few coils of the wires on his Collar and wrapped them around the insect legs. *Swuoosh! Shrrrkkk!!* The Mokua ignored his actions as it didn't seem threatening...until she noticed a strange force within the wind turbulence. *Brrzzt! Brzt! Prrzt!!* Electric arcs started appearing all over the Dragons' body while increasing in number and intensity. Danger! Though the insect Queen greatly alarmed and tried to get away instinctively. "Kwee! Kwee!" But after struggling to detach for a bit unsuccessfully and losing the tight grip on the scaly wings, she gave up. *Shiooomm~!!* She began forming a Wind barrier on the underside while compressing gases at the root of her proboscis. *Shiooohh~!* Several streams of air rushed in a circular manner around the green shaft while condensing into a thin liquid doughnut that continued growing.

The electromagnetic force grew on the Dragon's back and wings as his rage approached a boiling point again. However, his Mana was less than a third, and the insect was quite insulated. Although she deserved a horrible death, at this rate he wouldn't even kill her. Or so he thought. In those short seconds that passed like minutes, an idea popped into his head. He rubbed the Mana Crystals with his Spirit and broke their stable structure, releasing a torrent of Mana threads with different densities. ""!!??"" The Spirit of the three Beasts started capturing their respective Mana densities. Now, it was time to act, but Nefiru hesitated. He fell unconscious the other two times that he rampaged, and that would mean certain death with the ground less than a Kilometer below. But he took too long to retaliate.

The insect Queen released a supercooled stream at the Beast's left eye. *Froosshh! Ksshhh! Krerkk!* "GNNNH!" Nefiru groaned as his scaly eyelid started freezing from the low temperature until he couldn't endure anymore Fuck this! "GRRUOOOO!" DIEEEEE! He roared furiously before commanding the Lightning Elementals to their maximum potential for voltage. The stubborn Elementals rapidly consumed the Dragon's Mana and produced torrents of electrons with great potential energy. *BrrrzzzZZZZT~!* The high current channeled from his body and jumped between the scales, the metal cables, and the hair fibers while building up charge as the Elementals deflected it back out of his domain. *BRZZRZZZZ~WEEEEEN~!* In fractions of a second, the Lightning bolts became thicker than human fingers, shinning pure white at the core, then shading into pale blue and purple edges from the ionized air. The scaly hair fibers stood on end, and the air was repelled by the Electromagnetism before the current jumped from the Dragon. *PRZZSHRYAK!! SHRIAK!! TRYASHK!* Like thunder, the white-purple-blue Lightning bolts penetrated the foot-thick wind barrier protecting the insect and the wires turned bright red conducting electricity towards its legs. Woaaahh... Nefiru admired what was happening around his body in awe.

The electric arcs landed on the carapace making bright spots that left a carbonized matter as they moved towards the gaps and cracks bleeding. "Kriyiyiyi--KREEEEEEEE!" The electrocuted insect screeched loudly while shaking uncontrollably, her insides boiled and expanded while creaking. *Fwee! Krack! Fwee! Pruash! Pwee!* Vapor jets escapes the gaps, leaving dark trails in the sky as the two beasts fell together. "DIE DIE DIE...!" The Dragon shouted in a mad voice indulging in the inflicted suffering. "!!... Kwee! Kwee!" The insect Queen following nearby was taken aback and flew further away to the East as a precaution while calling her swarm, for the sparkling phenomena was still growing!

Over the next second, the voltage increased even more as the Lightning Elementals greedily devoured all the Mana available in the Dragon and even the threads that came into contact with his Spirit from the Crystals in his Collar. The lightning arcs reaching millions of volts enveloped the insect Queen while changing her green exterior to charred blackness and soot. "Kreeueue..." She uttered feeble and barely audible sounds as the breath of life escaped her. The unstoppable electric arcs as thick as human arms followed the rising vapor cloud into the swarm and jumped from insect to insect-like vicious serpents devouring life itself. *BRRRRZZZZT~SHRIAK!! BOOM! BRRRZT! BOOM!* The Lightning bolts spread within the swarm instantly vaporizing or exploding the insects into smoke and sparks and leaving charred matter in their wake. ""Shrriiiaa--! Kreee-!!!"" Hundreds of insects shrill as their lives end or get harmed and flee away.

From afar, the electric grid grew into the shape of a shinny tree with branches extending even beyond the Dragon's Magic range and encompassed a third of the swarm pillar. *BRRRZZZZWOOOOMMM!* The Lightning tree flashed for two seconds loudly, illuminating the dark clouds and the airborne creatures before vanishing. A powerful Mana wave emanated from the large insect confirming its death to all the creatures in the vicinity. The other two Magical Beasts recovered their resources a little while the Drones that survived the attack fled to the Northwest seeking another powerful Queen and a portion of them joined the nearby swarm.

In the distance, the White-haired girl observed the bright spectacle with a smile and feeling relieved. Nefi... Thank Goodness, you are alright... Shaila brightened, but her face changed since the purple-blue Dragon continued falling under the insects leaving smoke trails. No... Nono-- "NEFIIIIIIIII!" She panicked again and shone a light beam towards the Dragon below her on the East.

The wounded Mokua was watching tens of meters away from the insect corpses. D-dead... They are all dead...in an instant? She affirmed with dread and shivered, imagining being the one in smokes. The rampage of a Beast her Rank was overbearing like the wrath of a Thunder Divine and made her hesitant from approaching. She could only hope that the scaly Beast would fall to his death to receive some benefits.

However, the Dragon wasn't unconscious this time. He was just exhausted with nearly empty Magic reserves. Although he was recovering Mana from the Crystals and a tiny portion of Lightning Elementals appeared around him after the rampage was over. "HA-HUFF! HA-HUFF...!!" He panted with a hazy vision on his left eye and opened his right eye, throwing a sharp glare at the other swarm 30 meters away. "GRRRNAAA!" He snarled with a murderous intent directed at the wounded Mokua hiding inside her swarm.

"...!!" The Mokua felt the Dragon's gaze directly at her and was startled. It's...looking at me through a cluster of Drones??! She moved around a little and confirmed it. How...?? And how is it perfectly fine...? Can I kill it before my Mana runs out? Too risky... And it will recover with the Water below... Forget fighting this Monster! I need to tell a High-Rank... The wounded Queen asserted the danger and turned around calling all the Drones in the area, then fled to the Northwest.

"And fuck off--ACK!" Shit! It hurts everywhere... But at least I'm alive-- Nefiru asserted and looked below. --For another 10 seconds or so... He estimated and looked at his left Wing flapping in the wind. I can't fly, but...I should be able to glide to the ground... He determined, reaching for the broken wing section with his left paw. He gripped the broken section as tightly as he could and unfurled his wings. *Shu-ZUAK!!* "GRAAH!" The Dragon roared before snapping his mouth shut, grinding his teeth and enduring the throbbing agony. *SWOOooooshhh!* The scaly Beast glided from under the falling insects with his body tilted towards the broken left wing. But he was unable to glide straight and started descending while making a downward spiral.

Meanwhile, over a hundred meters to the West, the girl passed the Dragon's altitude as she was falling faster than him now. Oh, no... Nefi can't fly? The realization made her heart thump in her chest. I'm gonna die I'm gonna die I'm gonna die! She panicked when her Light beam reached the Dragon's eyes.

"Huh?!!" ...SHAILA! She's alive! She's alive! Nefiru rejoiced and realized that he had been looking for the girl in the wrong direction and she was in a blind spot.

The two gazed at each other intently for what seemed like seconds. Several emotions surged in their minds only for that instant before reaching a mutual conclusion. But he can't save me... But I can't save her... Sadness clouded their eyes in realization. Being in a situation like this was the furthest thought in her mind when they took off to the skies earlier this morning, and yet, it became reality in minutes. The Dragon was also in turmoil, but not long after, he noticed a tiny body of water away from the Main Marshland before his body rotated out of sight. He immediately used what little Light Magic he had left to make a large sign in red latters float in the girl's direction.

"...!!" Shaila read the short message and turned her head to the other side while squinting her eyes looking for a lake. That's your solution??! A POND?! She complained disappointedly but saw no better alternative. She recalled the extended Magic with the collected resources back into her body, then commanded the Light Armor to push her body further West and rotate to face down. *WHOooOOSH!* With the wind already blowing in the northwest direction, and Magic, her trajectory shifted towards tiny pond on the Southwest. However, the Light Armor in her arms and legs shrunk, vanishing into sparkling particles in the air while her Magic reserves dropped to one-fourth. *Kririash~!* Oh, no! The Elemental force only countered my momentum this much? T-then...I can only slow down my fall for like a second! I can't get the altitude even a few meters wrong! But I'll get flattened in like five seconds anyway! The girl determined, becoming increasingly frightened until her heart thumped in her chest like hammers, sweat poured out like bullets, and her whole body quivered. I need more time... S-slow down! Slow down! Slow--DOOWNNN! She ordered with a strong intent in desperation as the ground was approaching too fast for her vision.

Come on Shaila... Do something! I don't want to watch you die... The Dragon thought, feeling frustrated as he struggled to steer his body and was forced to observe from high up in the sky. With his vision blurry, especially on the Left eye which froze slightly, and his consciousness faltering already, there was no point in blacking out again or not having magic to heal. He used the time to recover the depleted reserves, deal with the remaining parasites making way to his brain, and scan the ground for some Wolves that could help.

Inadvertently, the girl commanded the Elementals within her head deeply enough that it activated something profound in her brain. The Light Elementals sought certain neuro-pathways aligned with specific Soul strings and the photoreceptors in her eyes before interfering in the conscious process. The ground suddenly stopped magnifying in her vision, her pain eased, and her body responses felt delayed. Eeeeh??!! E-e-everything slowed down?! Why? She wondered, baffled that her perception of time heightened several times greater than before. But when she blinked really slowly, feeling as if being trapped in her own body and sensing the Mana consumption in her head, it was clear that her mind was in an unnatural accelerated state. Whaaaaat!??! Is this...is this my Grand Affinity special ability? It must be! Yay~! Finally! But...what is it? It's not increased brain activity like Nefi, it's some kind of...Time Acceleration... I have tell him--but first I have to, not die... She analyzed in tenths of a second and looked at the ground before using Magic threads to measure speed and landmarks to calculate distances.

Meanwhile, the Dragon up in the sky discerned distant purple figures in the horizon seemingly approaching from the East and South at a pace that might take them hours to arrive if they do intend to come at all. There were other distinguishable shapes miles to the Northwest, but none were moving. Most likely, the insects got to them. But there was a lone Wolf around 600 meters to the West that was lying down facing Southeast. Did it try to escape? Nefiru wondered and used the collected Light Elementals to magnify the image even more than his eyes.

The scaly Beast noticed the Wolf's path in the grass and became angered. D-did this little shit lured here the Mokua that ambushed us? I really, really hope you are still alive so that I can punish you! He affirmed gritting his fangs when red letters appeared in his vision suddenly.

[Attention! Conscious Spirit Density Has Met Realm Requirements For Partial Soul Materialization...]

"!!...WHOAH??!!" Nefiru blurted alarmed and shook his head in discomfort but the message remained obstructing his sight regardless. ...Holy fuck...this is the Fragment interface! That was so random...or was it because of the Fight? Heh. Figures that my Soul Stages wouldn't be like normal beings... Okay, let's do this then!

[Warning! All Necessary Forms Of Energy Available Will Be Consumed...]

Oooh... That can't be good-- He commented before sensing a tug at his Spirit from within his brain. Wait, wait, wait--I just wanted to prepare! Shit... Cancel! Cancel! Stop! Halt! Cease...

And while the Dragon struggled to postpone his Soul Upgrade, the white-haired girl finished deciding on approximate measurements in under a second. I just fell below 200 meters altitude, descending at around 50 meters per second, so that's 4 seconds left... Ugh! I can probably slow down the fall for only 0.8 seconds, so I would need to start before reaching 40 meters above ground, and hope that I survive... Hm... Rampaging might have enough force to stop me, but I don't think Elementals will execute the two commands that I need. Maybe if I materialize photons in the form of a parachute... Well, it's too late now. She determined, commanding all Light Elementals outside her body to Crystallize more Light armor.

Let's see... Meters to the ground...150? ...Around 100 now. Close to 50--NOW! *WHOOoooshh!* Her body slowed down with the Elemental force bordering at the limit as she aimed for the deepest part of the 20-meter wide pond, but unfortunately, all of the crystallized Light vanished 8 meters above the water surface.. ..!! I'm still going too faaaast--! Shaila freaked out and brought both arms to the front to brace for impact, but her body was moving slower than she wished and touched down before covering her face. "Aaaahhh--!" *TWUOOMM~BWRUASH!!* The girl's body splashed horizontally into the foot-deep pond before sinking at the bottom another foot deep and splattering a muddy water wave at high speed that rippled multiple times in the ovoidal pond. *Shuash! Shrushh~!* The disturbed blackened water rushed back to fill the ovoid-shaped crater and submerged the girl completely with only the whiteness of her buttocks and the upper back barely visible a few meters away.

Although most of the energy from the fall was dissipated, the collision was powerful enough that it rendered Shaila unconscious, and with her face buried in the mud, she couldn't breathe either. And thus, she remained unmoving at the bottom of the swamp as life escaped her slowly.

Her partner up in the sky didn't see as he was gliding behind a smoke column left behind by the falling insects scattering on the grasslands for hundreds of meters. *THOOMP! Thud! Thud! Thururump!* The Mokua corpse smashed onto the ground, breaking into more pieces before the charred remnants of her Drones followed and continued dropping for twenty seconds when the smoke finally started clearing.

The Dragon glided making in a wide and sharp downwards spiral, then almost half a minute after the girl crashed into a pond, he made it to the vicinity and stretched his hind legs. *BRASH!!* Nefiru's hind paws touched down on the grass field and continued gliding while balancing his body. *KrrrRRCHH--!* He skids on the grass for two meters before his paws sank, carving the black soil deeper and deeper as he lost altitude, then released the left wing. *THROM-ROMP!* His three paws buried the half-meter tall grass into the soft dirt making deep paw prints before the weight of his exhausted body came crashing down heavily. "ARRGH!" He groaned in agony before his momentum forced him to take a few rushed steps. *Thump! Thump!* "Urrgh..." The little dragon grumbled again as he was only blocking the most intense pain and bleeds. He folded the right wing and limped towards the water while dragging the left wing and the metal cables on the grass. *Srrrcchhh...*

The scaly Beast looked at the unmoving human figure 40 meters to the Southwest and became anxious. "SHAILA!" He called out loudly enough salivated blood sprayed from his mouth and rushed over on three legs. *Thum! Thu-romp!* There was no response from the girl, but the absence of a Mana wave confirmed that she was still alive for now. Hang on! Hang in there... He repeated in his mind exasperatedly while limping closer to the swampy area with his Spirit and Magic extended. The scaly Beast started collecting resources as soon as his Magic reached the water, and then inspected the girl when she got in range.

He was stumped. Shaila's respiratory system was clogged with mud, she had inhaled some water from the nose and her heart was beating irregularly while slowing down. Her consciousness was sinking deeper into the darkness as her Spirit weakened and slipped away from the Life-force threads binding her Soul to the tiny vessel. Seeing this little girl in such a state made his heartache so much that it hurt. "FUCK! GRRRAAAAAWWR!!" He cursed and roared furiously while shaking his head with his snout scrunched up. Shit! Shit... If only she had the Magic resources, sh-she would've walked away from this... If-if only we had taken the necessary precautions, she wouldn't be like this...

Seconds later, the lamenting Beast reached the pond and slowed down when entering the water. *Thruish! Thruash! Thruash!* Nefiru trudged through the pool, causing ripples and slumped by the girl's left side while extending the right forearm past her feet. *THUAMPSHH!* The scaly Beast submerged into the shallow waters sending out big waves that exposed the girl stuck in the mud. Using the right forearm for support, he moved the left to stab at the black soil beneath her chest. *SHRUAK!! Krr...* He lifted the small frail body between the claws carefully while extracting the mud and water from her nose and mouth. *Shruaaassshhh~! Dlip! Tlip! Dlip!* Her head hung over the paw as the long white hair covering her face dripped dirty water and her arms dangled without strength. He then rested the left elbow, keeping the girl's upper body 2-feet from the water, and rushed more Magic into the girl, struggling to slip past hers.

Fortunately, the weakened Domain made it easier for the intruder to reach her Heart rather quickly. Alright, here goes a portion of Lightning Elementals... The Dragon prepared before delivering a mild shock to her Heart. *Brrzzzth!* Her body convulsed for an instant as the disorganized electrical activity was disrupted successfully, but the pulse continued to decline. What!? Why isn't she getting better! She wasn't Flatline! Air...? I can't give CPR! The Dragon complained before searching for the right nerves to activate in the heart and lungs. Come on... Come on... Like Hell I'm letting you die! Aaaalmost--There! Fucking got it! Nefiru rejoiced and droved ions with direct current to stimulate the heart and lungs simultaneously. Revive this instant! *Bzzzzt! Ba-dump! Ba-dump!* "HuuuUAAA..." The girl inhaled sharply and exhaled before resuming a feeble breathing.

"YES!" The Dragon shouted in elation, looking at the girl up close, waiting for her to take up, but she didn't. "...The hell?" He retorted and immediately wriggled his Spirit into her brain, wrapped around hers, concentrated, then sent an intent transmission. "Shaila! Wake up! Wake up! Wake...

The calls reverberated in the Girl's mind like a voice to a sleeping person, each time becoming louder until it finally jolted her awake. "Uhhnn... Nnng..." Shaila groaned muddle-headed with ears ringing and a terrible headache, then blinked a few times as the water below comes into focus. Her awareness increased along with her blood pressure and a faster breathing which was slightly hindered by the weight of her body resting on the chest. "Huu~haa--Wuhook! Wuhook!" She coughed a few times on top of the clawed paw while still mildly dizzy and weak.

"Welcome back to life!" The Dragon said with a kind and happy tone from her left.

"Ne-Nefi...?" She identified the voice and turned left before putting strength to her legs and launched herself over his muzzle. "UwuaaAAAA! It wash scuewy! Huuuu! Huk! Huk..." She started bawling while hugging his snout when the pain returned and wailed. "Ah?! AAHH! It hulssss!" She cried out as her face becomes even redder and started writhing on top of the rough scales.

Argh! Nefiru felt the turmoil in her head through his Spirit. "Then stop hugging me with a broken arm!" He retorted, reminding her condition and proceeded to soothe her.
