Awakened by the gentle embraces of a golden light, Xanders eyes peeled upon. Under the care of the light, 6 years of memories which where, and weren't his own flashed through his mind. The memories summed up his life so far and came accompanied by a message.
Because a babies brain was not fully developed, his memories had been sealed since he was born. Only know, during his spirit soul awakening had the seal been lifted and the events of another life cascaded in his mind.
It also alerted him of his current predicament. That being his spirit soul was awakening.
Opening his eyes, he once more examined the room he was in. The rough worn outcropping of aged wood accompanied by a sleight rotting smell alerted him to the bad condition of the place he had called home for the past 6 years.
Looking around the room he could see a mix of despairing and excited faces. The room was filled primarily with children who where similar in age to himself, though in stark contrast to there youthfulness, a greying elder with steely eyes continued to pour what seemed like liquid light into his surroundings.
Xanders wandering thoughts were refocused as the spirit master responsible for his awakening raised his right arm slightly. The small movement seemed to elicit a larger response as the white spirit energy vibrated, before further illuminating the room as it began to reach its climax.
Starting from the ceiling, inscription lines which had been hidden from sight filled with light and began to flow down, through the walls.

The inscriptions moved with a strong and revitalizing energy, as well as a life of its own. The lines kept lighting up until they converged below Xanders feet.
A comfortably numbing energy crept up his legs before entering his body from his heart. In response Xanders feeble body couldn't help but tremble as he struggled to hold on. It felt as if his body was being electrocuted.
Everything blurred before his eyes, and an unclear image unceasingly flickered within his mind. He wanted a clear look at it, but he could only feel its flowing shadows. However, as more time passed, he could see himself looking at his own body from second perspective.
A faint energy undulated as it was emitted from Xander's body. This energy originated from his lower abdomen, before going up to his heart and eventually surging fourth.
The elderly mans eyes gained an extra steely sharpness as he continued to release more spirit energy in response.
Xanders body tensed as he could feel something being drawn out, something important, something from his very soul. His fingernails dug deep into his hands. However, the numbing pain quickly gave way to a wave of satisfactions as he felt something leave his body.
Opening his eyes, Xander was dazzled by the golden light cascading in every direction.
This was indeed the peak martial soul he had been promised.
As the light began to dim, a grin threatened to split Xanders face in half. His hands palpitated in anticipations. His future could be guaranteed in the next few moments. He had made a daring bet during his reincarnation. Something he had incessantly though over and selected the most logical options and yet it was accompanied by a high level of risk.
However, as the light fully settled Xanders grin seemed to freeze.
"Shit"
Words unbefitting a child spread through the room. All the children and the elders where transfixed on the might of what he had produced and yet a shimmer past through Xanders eyes. That shimmer quickly turned into a streak as it flowed down his face.
At that moment Xander knew. He fcked up.
