The Seirei were a species who lived in hollowed out trees. They were not particularly strong nor fast compared to their cousins the Sourou. This species was the lowest of the food chain even with their large Mana capacity. Unfortunately, the Seirei could not use mana externally nor internally to enhance their capabilities.
It was 4000 years before the worlds merged that the Seirei were facing an extinction event. The Gol, a humanoid reptilian discovered that they were an easy and tasty prey, so they began hunting the Seirei in droves.
The Seirei fleeing their homes sought refuge with their cousins the Sourou only to be denied due to their weakness. 800 Seirei soon found themselves hiding out in the caverns of Ganol. One of the surviving elder smiths formed a walking stick out of unknown metals from the Ganol caverns when his legs became weak.
Unfortunately for the weak prey, the Gol soon found them and attacked the remaining survivors. It was as the reptile went to strike down the Elder that the old smith lift his walking stick in defence and unknowingly pushed mana into the metallic rod.
The Gols’ claws bounced off the rod and hissed in anger, the elder feeling a surge of hope and adrenaline then hit the lizard with the rod. The rod enhanced the hit more than it should have and with a surge of strength the Elder Drove the Gol from the caverns and saved 600 of his brethren.

After much experimentation they found that the Caverns were filled with the metal which would be known as Gant. Gant was the only material that the Seirei could channel Mana through offensively and defensively.
The Seirei began worshipping the Ore and believed that they were chosen by celestial beings to rise from the bottom and become the Strongest of the food chain on Bos.
For decades the Seirei built up their numbers in the Ganol Caverns, arming themselves with weapons, armour and accessories made from the Gant.
After 200 years of living in the caves and defending from the Gol, the Seirei developed a Gant Necklace which would deliver messages to other such necklaces. Using these Necklaces groups of Seirei were sent to find more deposits of the Holy ore, while legions of the heavily armoured Seirei went on to Purge the world of filth known as the Gol.
Over the Centuries many species were massacred by the Seireis’ fervent desire for the holy ore.
It was only a united alliance of Sourou, Gni and the Tyr that kept the Seirei from overtaking the whole world.
It was on one of the Many Battle fields that the two sides fought that the Gant worshipers faced their first full on defeat in a long time.
With the Tyr using body enhancement the Gni created special Jeweller that burned all except for the user. These Tyr bull rushed into the masses of Seirei and burnt them alive by the dozens not even deterred by the Gant armour. When the Seirei began to panic arrows fell from the sky and the Seirei retreated.
It was just before the Alliance were going to give chase that the world itself began to distort. This phenomenon was the Merging of the worlds and the conquest of the Seirei was put on hold until a later date.
