"What the hell was that!??" Matsushima asked. Shu looked back at Matsushima raising a brow.
"I broke the door...?" Shu said. Matsushima shook his head,
"Your veins, they glowed in a pattern and stuff... What was that?" Matsushima asked. Shu raised a brow,
"Wait, you don't know what that is...?" Shu asked. Matsushima shook his head,
"Nah, no idea..." Matsushima said. Shu chuckled,
"That's why you guys are losing this war so bad..." Shu said. Matsushima raised a brow,
"What do you mean by that...?" Matsushima asked.
"You guys are weaker than they are..." Shu said. Matsushima walked over to Shu, grabbing him by his cloak.
"What makes them so much better, kid...?" Matsushima asked.
"Let go of me, and maybe I might not wanna kill ya..." Shu said. Matsushima grits his teeth, letting go of Shu.
"Patriotic military bastards... I hate 'em all..." Shu internalized.

"It's called ChatzuKoru..." Shu said. Matsushima raised a brow.
"What does it do...?" Matsushima asked.
"It's a demonic technique that allows you to exert your internal potential... Depending on your control, you can become crazy strong..." Shu said. Matsushima nodded,
"So how far can you go...?" Matsushima asked. Shu looked down at the ground,
"I don't see how that's important..." Shu then walked away. Matsushima looked at Shu in confusion,
"It was just a question..." Matsushima whispered. Matsushima then caught up to Shu.
"So... How do you plan to get to Kyoto...?" Matsushima asked. Shu sighed,
"Walking..." Shu said. Matsushima looked confused,
"How're you going to get in though... It's walled off, only military personnel can exit and enter..." Matsushima explained.
"Don't worry about it... I'll get in..." Shu said. Matsushima raised a brow and stopped looking at Shu,
"You know... I could always just let you in..." Matsushima said. Shu stopped, looking back at him.
"There's a catch... Isn't there..." Shu asked. Matsushima smiled.
"Of course," Matsushima said. Shu sighed,
"What is it...?" Shu asked.
"You have to teach me how to use Chatzukoru..." Matsushima said. Shu looked at Matsushima blankly for a second.

"I'm going to find my sister, then I'm going to come back here and murder the Demon that killed my parents..." Shu said. Matsushima looked shocked,
"A Demon killed your parents...?" Matsushima asked. Shu kept walking, sheathing his sword.
"If you ask about it more, I'll slice your head off..." Shu said. Matsushima nodded,
"Wouldn't it be easier if we just killed the Demon first and then looked for your sister...?" Matsushima suggested. Shu stood there for a second, looking at the ground.
"We could make a team and then-"
"NO! JUZ'GOTH IS MINE TO KILL AND MINE ALONE!!" Shu shouted, pointing his sword at Matsushima.
"F-Fine... I can get you to Kyoto and you can teach me chatzukoru on the way..." Matsushima said. Shu sighed,
"Fine... Just don't get in my way..." Shu said. Matsushima smiled,
"I can do that!" Matsushima said. A few minutes later, the two would be walking in the abandoned city down a sidewalk.
"You only carry those swords...?" Matsushima asked. Shu didn't respond and kept walking.
"Okay, why are you being so quiet...?" Matsushima asked.
"Usually not this much talking..." Shu said. Matsushima nodded awkwardly.
"S-So... How about you start teaching me the basics of chatzukoru...?" Matsushima asked. Shu nodded,
"If it'll keep you out of my damn ears, then I'll teach you everything..." Shu said. Matsushima nodded,
"Alright!" Matsushima said. Shu sighed,
"These are the things Juz'goth taught me..." Shu said.
"Juz'goth... You mentioned that name earlier... Who is that...?" Matsushima asked. Shu sighed,
"He's the leader of The Black Demøns... He taught me chatzukoru..." Shu said. Matsushima's eyes widened,
"The leader of The Black Demøns!? Why were you with him??" Matsushima asked.
"I plan to head back to him after I'm done in Kyoto..." Shu said. Matsushima looked at Shu in shock.
"Are you a part of his group or something?? Should I trust you to come to Kyoto!?" Matsushima asked, sternly. Shu grinned eerily,
"I don't know General Matsushima... You're the one who told me my sister was in Kyoto..." Shu said. Matsushima grits his teeth,
"Just answer my question..." Matsushima said. Shu chuckled,
"Nah, I'm not a part of his group... I hate both Demons and Humans..." Shu said. Matsushima looked confused,
"You hate Humans...?" Matsushima asked. Shu sighed,
"What's your dream...?" Shu asked, ignoring Matsushima's question. Matsushima looked at Shu, raising a brow.
"Answer the damn question...?" Shu said. Matsushima nodded,
"Uhm... It's to lead an army to destroy the Demons..." Matsushima said. Shu nodded,
"Are you angry about it...?" Shu asked. Matsushima nodded,
"Good, use that anger and make that strength..." Shu said. Matsushima looked confused,
"Wha...?" Matsushima asked. Shu raised a brow,
"How does that not make sense...?" Shu asked. Matsushima shrugged,
"Can you explain it..." Matsushima asked. Shu sighed,
"When you're angry at somebody, people usually tell you to breathe, correct?" Shu asked. Matsushima nodded,
"Yeah, happens during military meetings a lot..." Matsushima said. Shu nodded,
"Now when you have that anger... Don't breathe..." Shu said. Matsushima still looked confused.
"Let the anger stay with you and flow through your body..." Shu said. Matsushima nodded,
"That makes sense... But I'm not angry right now..." Matsushima said. Shu shrugged,
"Get angry..." Shu said. Matsushima looked confused,
"How the hell am I supposed to do that??" Matsushima asked. Shu shrugged,
"You are just a damn kid..." Matsushima said. Shu nodded,
"Yeah, I'm only 15..." Shu said. Matsushima looked shocked,
"FIFTEEN!?" Matsushima shouted. Shu's eyes widened,
"Shut up!" Shu said. Matsushima looked confused,
"What?" Matsushima asked. Shu jumped toward Matsushima, tackling him. He covered Matsushima's mouth. He then dragged him into the alley between the two abandoned buildings.
"Hm... I wonder where that Human scream was..." Said a gargled voice. Matsushima's eyes widened. Large footsteps were heard. Shu unsheathed one of his swords slowly and quietly getting on guard.
"Gah... Maybe I'm just hearing things because I'm hungry... Speaking of which, I'm going to go find a family to eat..." The Demon said. It then flapped away with wings. After a few seconds, Shu took his hand off Matsushima's mouth.
"We're in Demon territory... You can't be too loud, they have good hearing... Idiot..." Shu said. Matsushima looked at the ground in horror.
"I..."
"... I could've died..." Matsushima internalized.
