Two girls would walk in, one slightly taller than the other. The room went from dimly lit to brightly lit once the door behind the two girls closed. The taller one had long cream colored wavy hair and brown eyes. She wore a latex looking suit with armor plating on the chest, elbows, knee’s, and feet that acted as shoes. Everyone wore those suits except Shu. The shorter girl was of latin american descent with short black hair and black eyes.

“Takeyama, turn on the news…” The taller girl said. Yuji raised a brow,

“Why should I?” Yuji asked. She sighed,

“Just do it…” She said. Yuji would grab the remote, turning on the tv. He flipped to the news channel.

“Demon’s destroy Toshiba factory during internal conflict!!” Read the tagline on the botton with a photo. The taller girl then pointed at a white dot seen inside the building.

“That look familiar.” She asked. Kenzo nodded, with his arms folded.

“Yeah… It’s Twilight…” Kenzo said. Shu looked at Kenzo,

“What’s Twilight?” Shu asked. Seon sighed,

“It’s not what… It’s who…” Seon said. Kenzo sighed,

“They’re a group like us… But their goal is the eradication of all demon life…” Kenzo said. Shu looked at the ground,

“What’s so bad about that…?” Shu said. The taller girl raised a brow,

“Kenzo, who is that?” She asked. Kenzo sighed,

“Calm down Scarlett… He’s a friend of Yuji and Seon’s.” Kenzo said. Seon slapped his face. Scarlett put her hands on her hips.

“He obviously sympathizes with them so why is he here…?” Scarlett asked. Shu looked confused,

“Hold on… What is this place anyways??” Shu asked. Kenzo sighed, looking at Yuji. Yuji nodded, shutting the TV off.

“We’re Singoran… Our goal is to achieve co-existence between human and demon-kind.” Kenzo said. Shu looked at Kenzo in shock.

“That… That’s impossible…” Shu said. Kenzo looked at Shu with a straight face.

“How about you join us and see how impossible that is…?” Kenzo asked.

“Sure…” Shu said. Seon looked surprised,

“I just want you guys to help me with something…” Shu asked. Kenzo raised a brow,

“What’s that?” Kenzo asked.

“I want help finding my little sister…” Shu said. Yuji looked surprised,

“Fuyumi?” Yuji asked. Shu nodded,

“I haven’t seen her since that day…” Shu said. Yuji nodded,

“Same here… She went off with some family and I never saw her again…” Yuji said. Shu sighed, the tv then activated on its own. It would be a bright white screen with a black circle that had been diagonally. The scene would then switch to a white room with 10 figures standing there. They wore white cloaks that covered their bodies with the same circle logo on them. They also wore white masks with the roman numerals 1-10.

“Who are these guys…?” Shu asked. Kenzo crossed his arms,

“I think I have an idea…” Kenzo said. They all watched the TV.

“Hello World.” Said a filtered voice, presumably from the one standing in front, One. Yuji raised a brow,

“World?” Yuji said. Kenzo raised a brow.

“Yuji… Figure out how many news channels this is being broadcast on…” Kenzo said. Yuji nodded,

“We are Las Crépuscule… Or for some of you… The Twilight…” One said. Kenzo grit his teeth.

“I knew it…” Kenzo said. Yuji gulped,

“Kenzo…” Yuji said. Kenzo looked back at Yuji raising a brow.

“Whats up?” Kenzo asked. Yuji looked at Kenzo in horror.

“It’s being broadcast on every major news network…” Yuji said. Kenzo raised a brow,

“In Japan?” Kenzo asked. Yuji shook his head,

“Worldwide…” Yuji said. Kenzo’s eyes widened.

“So… That confirms one thing about them… They aren’t the Japanese Government…” Kenzo said.

“Blowing up corporate buildings… Obviously not government…” Scarlett said.

“We would like to host a game…” One said. Kenzo raised a brow,

“We invite you all to our tower… Evolution Tower.” One continued. Yuji then got a notification on his computer. He clicked on the notification and it sent him to an email. It had coordinates.

“Yuji, figure out those coordinates.” Kenzo said. Yuji nodded,

“Already on it.” Yuji said.

“What is the game? It’s simple… Reach the top of the tower…” One said. A 3d model of the tower then appeared on the screen. It was tall and had four sides pointed toward the sky and ended in earth’s atmosphere as a pyramid.

“Whoever reaches the end of the tower first… Witnesses the new beginning.” One explained. Kenzo raised a brow,

“What’s the New Beginning…?” One asks. The camera then zoomed in on One.

“Demon-Human Integration…” One said. Kenzo’s eyes widened.

“That… That’s insane…!!” Kenzo shouted. Shu looked shocked,

“What does that mean…?” Shu asked. Scarlett looked at Shu,

“Humans and Demons will be one and the same…” Scarlett said.

“All out war… Nobody will trust one another… Are you a demon or a human…” The shorter girl said. Shu looked at her,

“I’m Cristina… I forgot to introduce myself…” Cristina said. She had short black hair the length of her head and black eyes, she was of latin american descent.

“The tower’s gates open in one month… Prepare yourselves thoroughly, as the tower is not friendly to strangers.” One said. The broadcast the went dark. Everyone in the room stood in silence.

“Yuji… Where is the tower…?” Kenzo asked.

“In… The middle of Hokkaido…” Yuji said. Kenzo grit his teeth. Meanwhile, at DDF HQ in Kyoto, Kamiko, Matsushima, and Akira would be standing in a room with a tv.

“What do we do…?” Matsushima asked.

“Prepare… Thats the only thing to do…” Kamiko said.

“Don’t be rash… The war generals will have a meeting later about this…” Akira said. His fists were clenched. Matsushima and Kamiko nodded, walking out of the room. Matsushima looked at the ground while he walked down the hallway.

“Shu… Will you be at the tower…?” Matsushima internalized. Back at Singoan HQ. Everyone would be walking down a hallway.

“This is where you guys will be living until the tower opens...” Yuji said. He opened a door through a keypad. They all walked into the room, it was pitch black, they couldn’t even see eachother. The sound of the door closing was then heard. The lights then turned on. It was a large room. Like a dome.

“Welcome to our training room… For the next month… You’ll train in here rigorously.” Yuji said through a loud speaker.

“After that, you’ll get your uniforms for the tower… You’ll have masks to disguise yourselves, until then… Get ready…” Yuji said. Shu looked around the large room.

“Maybe… This is it… Maybe I’ll find Fuyumi in the tower…” Shu internalized.

“I’ll meet you there… Fuyumi…” Shu said. Meanwhile, in a dark room,

“Integration… An interesting move…” said a deep voiced male.

“Do we send the war generals…?” A womans voice asked.

“No… I think this a good experience for the DDF to handle…” Said the male voice.

“We’ll see how this goes… If its worst case scenario… We’ll send war generals…” Another male voice said.

“Do you think she’ll be there?” Another male voice asked.

“Most likely, if she does show up… she’ll be dealt with… Don’t worry.” Said the first male voice.
