Thursday, 9am Hilton boys, Sitting in the dining room. Tom was waiting for the line for breakfast to die down.
Waking up, Tom decided to sleep in until breakfast, due to his muscles aching from the previous workout that day prior.
Although Theo hadn't moved a muscle with the intention of gaining muscle mass in his entire lifetime, Theo had, at a young age picked up one of his fathers books on the subject and read through it.
With just a thought, Toms thoughts and views on muscle gain was shattered.
Slightly annoyed that one book could trump his lifetime of knowledge added to the reason Tom slept in.
Noticing Leo waiting in line, Tom started looking around the room for Sammy. As if his answers were called, Tom saw Sammy entering the room from the sliding door with his hands in his pockets.
Noticing Toms gaze, Sammy broke out into a smile and started strutting towards Tom.
After shifting over for Sammy, Tom got a sudden whiff of tobacco with the breeze of air that Sammy brought along.
Seeming more cheerful than his usual self Sammy let out a chuckle gently punching Tom.
"Hey killer, I heard you asked Leo about the birds and the bees.
Awkwardly, Theos memory's answered about birds and bees. Creepy as it was, Tom started thinking his thoughts were somewhat integrating.
Shoving the thought in the back of his mind Tom answered.
"I just asked him one question, he started talking about socks and somehow he managed to talk about actresses, cars and pirates.
In response Sammy just nodded his head in a knowing expression.
"Just ignore him, after awhile he'll crash out.
Changing the subject Sammy continued.
"Tip 101, waiting for the line to die down is a no no. Doing this you'll end up with dry toast and cereal without milk.
Hearing Sammy's wise words they both got up heading towards the food table.
Approaching the food table, Tom couldn't help but think of Sammy's previous words.
Like a messiah, they were left with pretty much the exact description that Sammy portrayed.
Spreading peanut butter over one of the dry toast and grabbing a apple Tom returned to his seat. Noticing Leo sitting across from himself he couldn't help but feel amused.
Coming from a lifetime living on the run, table manners wasn't really a thing to Tom.
Amazingly, Leos way of feeding his shirt and talking with a mouth filled with food, helped Tom realize why table manners were, definitely needed.
After breakfast, Tom headed back to his room with leo and Sammy. During there walk, Sammy mentioned noticing something wrong with Toms awkward way of not bending his arm and him kinda resembling a walking zombie.

Rubbing his furrowed brows Tom explained, that after working out, his arms felt like balloons since this morning and his hamstrings felt like they were scorching in acid every step he took.
Surprisingly, after saying this Sammy offered one of his Protein shakes and a shaker that his brother had given to him awhile back.
Instantly Tom agreed on his free offer. Accepting the offer Tom remembered a quote his father drilled into him since he was a kid: "Boy, when it comes to free things, you gotta take it by the reins.
Somehow Tom couldn't help but think that could be one of the reasons why his Dad ended up dead, unable to support his mother and himself.
Walking past his room, Leo quickly branched off sitting on his couch. Tom wanted to pickup his freebies straight away, so he headed with Sammy to his room.
Reaching Sammy's room, Tom couldn't help but notice his book collection. In most of Toms memories of Theo he had always been face first into pages and pages of books. With a thought, Tom wanted to know if he could read and be just as interested in books as Theo was.
Thinking of a way to ask for a book, Tom just shrugged to himself and started coughing in the classic conversation starter kind of way.
"So, Sam, can I call you sam?
With a puzzled expression Sammy replied.
"Sure, Sam's what my mum named me. my pa and brothers just call me sammy because it sounds more Italian.
"Oh yeah, so your Italian? Wow you sure have a nice book collection.
Catching on to Toms strange behavior Sams face became stern.
"Yeah, just tell me what the fuck you want?
Slightly blushing avoiding eye contact Tom let out a sigh.
"You got a spare book to read, watching TV all the time gets boring after awhile.
Slapping his head in resignation Sam replied.
"Man, just ask, don't beat around the fucken bush.
Rummaging through his wardrobe Sam managed to get Tom his protein shake, shaker and a book.
Head still in his wardrobe Sam threw the objects within Toms location.
"Killer, you can keep that book, my brother gave it to me saying it would help me with the real world or some shit like that. I tried to read it but it's not my cup of tea.
Brushing off the acquired dust Tom read out the title.
"Rich *** **** Dad.
Before leaving the room Sam reminded Tom to have a shower, managing to fit two subtle swear words in the mix.
Toms personal preference of batheing once every week wasn't quite suited for this era.
After experiencing his first shower Tom became ecstatic. Who could of known how amazing hot water could feel spraying out hard across your skin, it even helped relieve his muscle pain.
Recalling a chain a bucket and dirty water constantly being used Tom couldn't help but shudder in disgust.
Opening his new book, Tom became engrossed reading it's context.
Having his face stuck between pages time flew by.
Finally closing his book he shifted toward the wall avoiding the lights coming from the TV.
Not to long after that he fell asleep. Hearing the metal springs bouncing, Tom woke up noticing Leo making more noise than what he needed to.
Speaking in a quite tone Leo called out to Tom.
"Theo... Theo. Theo. Theo. Theo.
Annoyed Tom replied grumpily."What.
Waiting for a reply Tom heard Leo flinging the metal springs underneath his mattress.
After awhile of pondering Leo finally brought up his random nightly subject.
"Theo, do you think it's strange to be scared of the dark when your 15?
Yeah man that sure is strange Tom thought to himself. Putting more thoughts together with the help of his picture perfect brain, he did have hints on Leo being afraid of the Dark.
With the help of Theo's memory Tom put together a logical answer.
"It's just a lack of warmth and light from the sun.
Hearing Toms answer Leo decided to let loose on his life story.
"I was never afraid of the dark growing up. My dad beat any fear out of me and replaced it with himself.
Beaten black and blue I started to notice dad left me alone when I watched TV.
Without a thought I used it as my safe haven.
trash was a phrase he casually used to describe me and somehow I feel that way from time to time.
Without a thought Tom became interested.
"Where's your dad now?."Oh, hmm, Dads 6 feet under.
Drowned in his own vomit while I was watching TV, he drunk alot more than what he usually did when mum left him.
Mum never came back for me so I ended up here. A couple try'd to adopt me and get me into sports and go all blind side on me but I got kicked out within a few days. Been here ever since.
Listening to Leo go on and on Toms eyes became heavy, without knowing he fell asleep during the conversation.
