Tom laid sprawled across the bed covered in blood.
Its easier a second time through, I regretted killing Mum's friend instantly after doing it, not to mention running my whole life was not encouraging.
This time through I felt entitled, like the puzzle fitted.
But to my relief, through this dog eat dog worlds new system I doubt I'll have to go on the run and I don't think I'll get charged with murder if I claim self defense.
How in the hell would I explain the hammer though.
Pondering Toms eyes widened, yeah that might work.
After wiping himself clean, Tom ran to the garage clearing the sheet and chair while collecting a tool belt.
Returning to the room, Tom placed the belt around Ted's dead body smudging it in blood to make it look suited for the scene.
Grabbing the home phone Tom called the police. "I hurt my Uncle, he aint breathing, he tried to hurt me again, I live at 12 Breakwater Avenue.
"Okay try to make sure his airways are.
Beep. hanging up the phone Tom continued down the hallway.
Entering another room he looked around in confusion.
"Theo, is that you. After those words were said, two heads pop'd out from under a bed.
"I killed uncle Teddy and the police are on there way.
Noticing the two kids reactions of relief and uncertainty, Tom continued.
"Jerome, don't mention seeing me tonight, Okay."

The kids eyes widened, before looking straight back into my eyes, as if he was looking into the eyes of his savior before he replied firmly. "Yeah okay"
When I turned around to leave I heard a feint voice from behind, "Theo."
In response I replied "Hmm" without much thought.
"Than Thank you Theo, I wont say a word I promise. The other kid added in as well, "Yeah, me too"
Sighing, I replied in a stern voice.
"Remember that you didn't see me tonight.
After that I continued walking off through the hallway.
Standing before a letterbox, I waved out towards a speeding ambulance followed by two police Vehicles.
Dang they got here really quick, everything seems faster in these times.
Paramedics were quick to pass by without any questions, followed by two Policemen.
Hmm seems these two would be asking the questions.
Beyond the flashing lights, two figures were walking towards Tom.
A quick look pointed out one tall figure build like a gorilla. The second figure was walking slightly in front of him, it was a small lady. She was less than half the size of the man, making a awkward pair. She had her hair tied up in a bun letting her gentle face stand out more. Walking behind, the man only needed to take one step to match her two.
Puzzled, Tom recalled some memories of Theos, explaining that women had a firmer standing in todays society.
When the Gorilla man and the lady finally stood before him, panicking he went out of character.
"Good evening Madam, Officer."
"Theodore, it sure is a small world for us to meet again isn't it." The lady spoke out with a gentle smile.
Out of confusion I tried to recall a memory of the lady before me, but It didn't work this time. Seems this perfect memory doesn't always work.
Noticing my confusion she continued.
"I done your Mothers and Fathers case.
Dang lady that doesn't help one bit. I almost shat myself trying to recall those certain memories.
"Hey Jimmy Neutron, relax, don't think about it. The Gorilla man said with a smug grin.
Quickly recalling Jimmy Neutron, Tom did acknowledge that he looked exactly like that when he tried to forcefully recall a memory.
Tom noticed the lady Glare at the man after that comment and the Gorilla man just shrugged explaining that he was trying to make me feel comfortable.
"Theodore, tell me what happened"
Finally, putting on my biggest feel sorry for me expression I explained.
"Uncle Teddy tried to touch me again.
I wanna be a builder when I grow up, he said I could be a builder when I grow up just like him one time so I let him touch me a few times.
I didn't want to get touched again so I hurt him until he stopped trying to touch me.
He didn't move anymore so I called the police and checked on Jerome and Michael."
The lady nodded as I went with my story while the large man just scribbled notes.
The story went smoothly. I ended up being brought back to the police station having a statement made. Unsure, but I think they were saving my ass without a thought of me murdering Ted for the hell of it.
Days went by and It felt like I got away with murder. No strange looks no guilt, only sympathy and so called understanding. It felt like everybody was there for me and the other two kids at the time. Then within a few more days, I was back into a kids home.
Obviously brushed aside and forgotten all the sympathy and understanding was flushed down the drain.
Jerome and Michael ended up in good homes, but me. I smashed a skull in with a hammer. It makes sense that I wouldn't find a family to take care of me. Not that I'm complaining though.
Because right here is where I'm going to start this new life off.
