Tom wanted to know what the tattoo represented straight after he saw Dante drive away, but he didn't get the time to ask. After noticing their was no bus, Sam bolted off running down the road. Leo seemed to know exactly what Sam was thinking almost sprinting off at the same time. Having no idea what they were doing he just decided to follow their lead. Eventually coming to a stop Tom was grateful, finally having a break. Seeing a large line of students formed towards a public bus made him realize, the needed actions that were taken. Lucky I have friends who can understand a situation in a moment of notice.
Tom hadn't brought his collection of coins with him leaving it neatly hidden at Hilton. Scratching his head, he wondered If Sam was going to use the 50 dollars he acquired or if he was gonna give it to him, so that he could use it. Neither of these situations happened though, Sam let Leo go ahead of him and Leo gladly flaunted his money paying for all three to board. Entering the bus Tom felt a sudden heat wave, he could see that all the seats were filled with students, only having the odd adult in the mix. Walking along the bus the trio just grabbed onto the rails around the bus, balancing themselves. The bus windows were tinted black and everyone agreeing with the muggy area had every single top window compartment opened. Due to the bus being full, constant conversations flooded the area. Hearing the constant chattering of other students Tom tried to ask Sam in a louder tone than what he usually would use.
"Why was that guy so scared of your tattoo?"
Readjusting his hands on a pole heading up towards the rail Sam replied.
"You ever heard of Quelli spietati?"
Shaking his head, he looked towards Leo if he knew.
"Never heard of it." Leo replied, in a rushed way impatient to hear Sam's answer.
Continuing Sam said,"What about the ruthless ones?"
Letting go of the rail Leo blurted out.
"YOU'RE A MEMBER OF THE RUTHLESS ONES."
Noticing his actions he glanced from side to side. Seeing that nobody was bothered about his actions, he continued to ask in a quiet tone.
"You a member of the ruthless ones?"
Rubbing his furrowed brows with his free arm Sam replied. "What do you think, you fucken idiot?"
Gangs were normal in Tom's life and through the brief conversation he managed to get what Sam meant. Putting some thought into it, Sam just read books and had smokes, the only people he really interacted with was Leo and himself. His attitude seemed ruthless at times but not the bloodthirsty outlaw that ruthless represented in his days.
Seeing that the two had put some thought into it Sam explained.
"My father's the founder of the gang."
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Ah, Dante did have a shirt with spie something embroidered in it, and if Sam's father was the founder of the gang I can understand why he seemed scared. What would the tattoo be though. Before he was about to ask what the Tattoo was Sam answered already, knowing Tom like a book.
"It's just my last name, Deano done a shit job but you can still clearly see it. The overgrown grease ball would of noticed my similar features to Luca as well."
Having all the answers he couldn't help but throw more questions Sam's way.
"Why are you here, if your dad's some big shot?"
Seeing a seat become empty next to himself, Sam quickly sat down.
"He got locked up after almost killing someone over peanuts. He also made Mom leave us, claiming he was starting a family, only ruining our family."
Scoffing Sam continued."He can rot in there for all I care."
Seeing Tom about to ask more questions Sam just waved him off. looking Leo's way he hadn’t noticed but Leo had already wandered off during the conversation.
Leaning forward Leo tried to get a better view out of the front of the bus. He knew that after the next corner it would be their stop. Hand hovering over the stop button, he waited patiently. Finally passing a bus sign on the side of the road he hurriedly pushed the button.
Reaching her house Nadine threw her bag on the kitchen table. She had stormed off all the way home after the incident. Rapidly moving Her thumb across her phone screen she abused Dante, to the point that she ran out of insults. Seeing her sisters concerned face made her lament even more.
"I thought you were staying at Emma's tonight, I only got enough dinner out for me and Dad?" Taliya said.
Squinting her eyes, Nadine finally let her emotions unleash.
"Should I just leave and make everyone happy then. Dad's got a perfect little angel like you, why would he need a devil like me."
Picking up her sisters book she continued.
"Look at me I'm Taliya. I get put a year ahead because I'm really brainy, unlike my sister."
Walking towards her sister Taliya reached out the back of her hand gently touching Nadine's forehead.
"Your heads burning up, did Emma cancel on you or something?"
Sneering Nadine smacked her sisters hand away.
"Don't try and blame it all on others, when it's obviously your fault. You always blame others for your problems just like dad. That's probably the reason Mum ran away. "
Storming off, she went to her room slamming the door.
Back at Hilton. At first Tom was concerned about missing the bus and being late to Hilton, but with a brief conversation with Sam, he was told that far worse situations happen at Hilton everyday. Caretakers were to call the police when a child has been out longer than 6 hours, without notice. But for cases like Deano, caretakers don't bother. Being very close to the age of an adult, caretakers would soon not be accountable for his own actions. When Sam saw that he still hadn't convinced him he mentioned the worst punishment that could possibly happen, missing out on Ice cream for a whole week. Missing out on $21 did sound like a harsh punishment to Tom.
Heading back to his room he steered in a daze at the box atop his bed. the box was half a meter length and width. Mr Nelson must of brought it in during the day, after noticing the time on the TV Tom decided to check the box after a workout and some dinner. After dinner he quickly hopped on his bed collecting up all his coins to count before checking his Box, 18 dollars in coins. Wow, you really can make money out of nothing, this day and age has so many opportunities, all you need to do is look and ask. Rapping up his coins in a cloth he hid the rag back in his hole made in his foam mattress. Opening the Box he didn't see much things in it apart from books, clothes and school equipment. Picking up a photo he made out Theo in it, their also had a man that looked similar to Theo. A women stood next to the man, her pale white skin and orange hair didn't resemble Theo one bit. 2 kids were smiling alongside Theo, but Theo's smile was obviously forced.
Hm, should I try and recall who these guys are, Tom thought.
