Chapter 5: The Commandeer Arrives

Chapter 5: The Commandeer Arrives

Evening set in the Palace and dinner was currently taking place in the dining hall. Melia opened the creaky door slowly and closed it behind herself. She looked over at her Father at the head of the table and Malian sitting next to him on his left. The table was covered in a variety of meats, fish, salads and an assortment of fruit and veg that would catch anyone’s eyes with how exquisite everything looked. The candelabras were lit creating a flickering sound that took over the room. Melia’s walking, filled the room with noise as she sat down opposite of Malian, next to her father. As she sat down she took some wooden spoons and started gathering an assortment of food onto her plate creating a mountain.

“You hungry there, kiddo?” Bradamis asked, looking over at Melia.

“Yeah, very” Melia answered, as she kept on grabbing food from the metal trays.

“How are you doing Malian?” Bradamis asked as he looked over at Malian. Malian chewed on his food and wiped his mouth with a napkin before opening his mouth.

“Well, it was a long resting process and I still have some bruises on the stomach area that haven’t healed properly but the doctors said that in due time my wounds will heal and I will be in top shape again” Malian said with a smile whilst looking up at his father.

“That’s good to hear Malian” Bradamis said as he said looked back at his plate full of food.

“YEAH, after you finally get well rested and are properly healed we can start training again!” Melia said with her mouth stuffed. Malian let out a chuckle.

“Yeah, that’s right, after I get fully healed I’ll be able to kick your ass again over and over until you finally learn that you will never be able to surpass me Melia” Malian said with a smile.

“WHAT, NO FAIR MALIAN!” Melia shouted as she stood up from her chair, pointing her fork at him.

“Okay, Okay, calm down, the both of you. You will get your sparring eventually so for now calm down and enjoy what you have in front of you for now” Bradamis said. The three fall silent in the end after the bickering and finish eating. As they waited for desert, Malian looked over at Bradamis.

“So Dad, how was the meeting this afternoon with the other kings and the two individuals?” Malian asked as he leaned back into his chair.

“Well I can’t tell you much but what I can tell you is that their names are Amelis and Marcus and they have come here from a very faraway place to fight a great evil that is currently on its way to the VEIL Kingdom, that’s basically what they said. But the meeting went a lot better than I thought it would be, though I had to kick out my accomplices as per the order of the two outsiders” Bradamis explained.

“Wow, yeah that’s a lot and I’m guessing you simplified it a lot, huh?” Malian asked.

“Yeah, they said a lot more than I thought they would. All of which completely took me by surprise to be honest, and not just me but also Dyrra, Iluman and Tarroy were completely surprised by the information they were told” Bradamis explained. Melia started pondering.

“Marcus and Amelis, huh” Melia said as she remembered something.

“WAIT! The girl was called Amelis right?” Melia asked as if she figured out something.

“Yeah she was called Amelis, why?” Bradamis asked.

“Well I met them both on the way to Malian’s room to check up on him when I bumped into them and we had a little chat but before I left she called me ‘Melia’ but I don’t think I ever told her my name” Melia exclaimed, confused.

“Hmm, that is certainly strange but I wouldn’t take anything from that. They must have heard your name from somewhere whilst they were here and must have know from then on that it was your name” Bradamis suggested.

“Yeah, maybe but when I saw them on the corridor I felt a sort of resemblance when I saw them, as if this wasn’t the first time I’ve seen them” Melia said, pondering.

“I agree with Father, don’t take too much from this” Malian said whilst chowing down on his food.

“Malian, don’t speak with your mouth full of food!” Bradamis raised his voice at Malian.

“What? How come if I do it, I get shouted at, but the little twerp opposite me just did it a few moments ago and she got away with it?” Malian asked, annoyed.

“That’s because your sister is still young and has time to learn whilst you are a functioning young adult that doesn’t have to have the need to talk with his mouth full” Bradamis said as he took a big bite out of a steak he had in front of him. Malian stood still, gobsmacked at what his father had just said whilst Melia gave Malian a huge grin, puffing her chest.

“Ah fine, doesn’t matter anyway. But Dad, you said earlier that in your meeting that this Marcus and Amelis told you that there is this ‘great evil’ coming to the Kingdom?” Malian asked. Bradamis looked up at Malian.

“Yeah, Marcus did mention that to us, which surprised me but I saw the tenacity in his eyes and something deep inside me told me that he was not lying to us or i guess that he didn't really have a reason to” Bradamis explained in a serious voice.

“Wow, yeah, I wish I was there to witness it but I guess I wouldn’t have been able to since I was bedridden” Malian said, shocked.

“Did they say what kind of evil it is?” Melia asked.

“They said it was this ‘Commandeer’ of sort. They told me that a ‘Commandeer’ was someone who had reached a pinnacle that nearly none could reach and that they are the strongest of the army that this evil King commands” Bradamis explained.

“Did this Marcus say how powerful this ‘Commandeer’ is? Malian asked, curious.

“Marcus said that depending on how powerful this Commandeer is then not even I nor the other Kings would be able to stand up against them, no matter how hard we try or struggle” Bradamis explained. After that the room fell silent, both Malian and Melia fell quiet, wide eyed and shocked to the point that they couldn’t move or even look up at their Father.

“Stronger than you and the Kings? Surely that’s a bit of a stretch?!” Melia asked, laughing, still shocked.

“I know that what he said must feel like a bit of a stretch, but I looked into his eyes. I saw the determination in them and knew that what he was saying was nothing BUT the truth. I didn’t want to believe it either but I spoke with King Luim after and he told me that he felt chill’s throughout the whole of the meeting, he could feel the power that the young man was containing inside of him and all I can say is that he said ‘the power inside that young man is unfathomable in of itself’ and you both know that even though I am the most powerful out of the four of us, King Luim is able to see things that no one else, out of the four of us, could even imagine to” Bradamis explained. Melia and Malian fell to silence, shook by the news they had just heard.

“I know that what I said will take some time to process, it did for me as well, but I had to deal with it otherwise what kind of King would I be?” Bradamis said, reassuring the other two.

“Okay Dad, I’ll believe you for now” Malian said as he sighed.

“Yeah, me too” Melia said, quietly.

“Thank you, the both of you. Now, let’s finish up the rest of this food and go to sleep since I need to get up early tomorrow morning” Bradamis said. The other two nodded in agreement and the three finished their desert. As they finished up their desert, the three of them stood up from their seats. Bradamis blew out the fire on the candelabras and the three of them, slowly, left the dining room. As Bradamis closed the door behind them he looked over at Melia.

“Goodnight Dad, goodnight Malian” Melia said, smiling.

“Goodnight sweetheart” Bradamis said, smiling back.

“Goodnight Melia” Malian said as he started walking in the opposite direction to Melia. Bradamis waved goodbye to Melia as he walked off with Malian to his bedroom. Melia walked back to her room and slipped into bed, all comfy and cozy. She blew out her night candle and curled up in her duvet and slowly dozed off into the night.

“Melia” Melia could hear a voice as if it was far away.

“Melia” Melia could hear the voice get closer. She opened her eyes expecting to see her bedroom but all she could see was darkness as if the abyss itself has surrounded her completely.

“Who’s there, hello?” Melia asked.

“Why?” The voice got closer to Melia. ‘Why?’ Melia thought to herself.

“Hello, who’s there, who is talking?” Melia shouted out into the darkness but then out of nowhere.

“LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING!” the voice suddenly went inside her mind and as she jumped she was thrown onto the floor. As she opened her eyes she wasn’t surrounded in darkness anymore but what she saw in front of her made her wish she was. A prison, a mighty one at that, made out of a weird black rock, towering over everything but it was burning down, burning to nothingness. Cries and screams were being heard everywhere around her as if she really was there. There were guards in red capes and black helmets running everywhere shouting.

“FIND THEM! IF THEY ESCAPE THEN ITS OUR HEADS YOU HEAR ME!?” the guard shouted.

“BUT SIR WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE PRISONERS?!” another guard shouted.

“KILL THEM ALL!” the guard yelled.

“YES SIR! YOU HEARD THE MAN, MOVE OUT AND FIND THOSE BRATS AT ONCE!” the guard shouted. Melia was sitting up, looking at the onslaught that was in front of her, people were getting brutally murdered in front her eyes, pleading the guards to stop and let them go but to no avail, the guards had a sadistic smirk on their faces as if they were enjoying themselves. Melia could feel small tears starting to appear on her stiff face. As she looked down at her body she could see that she was still in her pyjamas, but the ground felt real, it felt so real as if she was there. As if she was reliving a memory but there’s no way she could have, she doesn’t remember ever being in a prison. The tears began oozing out of her eyes, she wanted to speak so badly but her mouth just wouldn’t open, she wanted to plead to the guards to leave those people all alone, but nothing came out. Nothing COULD come out, as if her mouth was sewn shut.

“Why did you leave us?” Melia heard a little child’s voice behind her. She slowly turned around still shocked from what she was seeing. A little boy with his left eye completely gone, his left hand completely blood red with torn clothes made from what looked like cloth and bruised legs covered in mud and silt. A girl was behind him, both her eyes were slashed across completely making her blind as she clutched the hand of the boy in front of her. The girl clothes also were torn to shreds and bruises could be seen around her arms, legs and neck as if she was brutally tortured. Melia tried to speak up, she tried everything she could but she still couldn’t.

“Why did you leave us Melia?” the little boy asked Melia. Melia didn’t know how to respond to the little boy, ‘leave you? Do I know them?’ Melia thought to herself. She thought to herself that there is no way that she knows these children.

“WHY DID YOU LEAVE US, YOU SAID YOU WOULD PROTECT US. YOU SAID YOU WOULD HELP US GET OUT OF HERE, SO WHY WERE YOU THE ONE WHO GOT TO LEAVE!?” The little boy raised his voice, Melia could sense an anger coming from the boy that was unfathomable, she could see the sheer anger that was shown on the boy’s face as his eye bled and as his left arm flung all over the place. Melia realised that his left arm was completely dislocated from his shoulder. Melia could only think to herself ‘protect you? Help you get out of here? I was the one who got to leave?’. Melia laid still as she tried to process what was going on, she thought that all of this felt way too real and this couldn’t have been a dream at this point. Until she noticed that boy moved forward, closer to her face. Closer and closer he came, until he was face to face with Melia who still couldn’t speak whatsoever.

“WHY WERE YOU THE ONE WHO GOT TO LEAVE WHILST MY SISTER WAS THE ONE WHO GOT TORTURED, MELIA!!!!” the boy shouted in Melia’s face, yet she stood still as she couldn’t do anything, she was stuck in place. As she moved her face to the girl she could hear a whisper coming from her.

“I FOUND THEM! THEY’RE OVER HERE!” Melia could hear a guard shout. She looked back over her shoulder to see four security guards rushing over to her, but she saw that they weren’t targeting her, they were targeting the little kids. Melia wanted to scream and shout, but she still couldn’t. She saw the crazed smiles the guards had as they approached the two little kids.

“COME HERE, YOU LITTLE SHITS!” one of the guards shouted as he walked over to the little boy. The four guards kept on getting closer and closer to the small kids, Melia fought with herself to move. She could feel that something wasn’t letting her intervene which made her even more angry.

“I’ve got you know!” one of the guards said as he reached out his hand towards the little boy.

“I WON’T LET YOU TOUCH THEM!” out of nowhere a middle aged man jumped in and sliced off one the guards hand with one fell swoop of what seemed to be a rusty sword.

“RUN!” the man shouted to the kids. Melia couldn’t believe what was happening in front of her eyes, she was lost for words. She looked over at the guards who were seeming with hate and anger as they stood in front of the man who was protecting the two little kids. Still startled, Melia looked over at the little girl who was standing behind the little boy.

“Wake up, Melia” the little girl said. Melia was confused, ‘Wake up? What do you mean wake up’ she thought to herself.

“Wake up” and like that Melia jumped from her dream into her bedroom where she stood up in her bed, sweating profusely, trying to regain any sense of normality that she could possibly. She put her right hand up to her face trying to remember what she saw in completion but alas, she could barely remember anything. She scanned her room to make sure she was back in the safety of her bed as she quickly lighted up her room with a lantern by her bed. She scanned the room with the warm light as well as looked down upon herself to see whether she was dirty from the silt and mud from her dream and saw that everything was back to normal. Melia quickly calmed down but she could still feel the tears from her nightmare running down her face which she quickly wiped off. After returning to normality and confirming it she returned to bed and quickly dozed off again and this time without any complications of any sort. She woke up to see the sun shining brightly in her room as a maid entered the room and readied her clothes. Melia slowly picked herself up from her bed and exited its warmth.

“Ah Princess Melia, nice to see you up bright and early” the maid said, surprised.

“Morning, what time is it?” Melia asked as she yawned and stretched.

“It’s currently 8:05, Princess Melia” the maid answered.

“Ah okay, thank you” Melia responded.

“Princess?” the maid asked.

“Yes?” Melia answered.

“I know that it’s probably none of my concern but are you okay per chance?” the maid asked.

“Yeah, I’m. I’ll be fine” Melia answered as she stood up from her bed getting ready to get dressed.

“Well I’ve laid out your clothes so get dressed and come down for breakfast when you feel like you want to” the maid said.

“Thank you, really” Melia answered. The maid exited shortly after and closed the doors behind her leaving Melia to ponder with herself about her mysterious night dream ‘or was it a nightmare?’ Melia thought to herself. ‘Oh I forgot that it’s a Saturday today. I agreed with Eva that we will go around town for a walk today so I need to get ready’ Melia thought to herself which took her mind off things and meant she could get dressed and go eat breakfast swiftly.

“Morning Malian, morning Dad!” Melia shouted with a smile as she entered the dining room.

“Morning Melia, you’re in a good mood this morning, can I ask why?” Bradamis asked Melia.

“Yeah, I’m meeting up with Eva this morning so I need to grab a bite and leave quickly!” Melia said as she picked up a few sandwiches.

“Okay Darling, you have fun then” Bradamis responded.

“Thank you, BYE!” Melia shouted as she ran off into the hall outside the dining room. She opened the palace doors, ran down the stairs and leaped through the town centre where she finally arrived at Eva’s doorstep. She knocked on the door three times until she heard a ‘thump’ inside with a lot of rattling and creaky noises.

“Coming!” Eva shouted. Melia could hear her friend running down the stairs in a hurry and as Eva opened the door to her house Melia could see that her hair was still very messy and that she was in her pyjamas still.

“You just woke up?” Melia asked whilst smiling.

“Yeah sorry, I kinda overslept. Just wait here, I’ll be out here in a sec” Eva said as she shut the door and ran upstairs.

“Okay, have fun!” Melia shouted. Melia could hear rumbling and crashing in the upstairs of Eva’s house, then in the corridor, the stairs and finally in front of the door she was staring at.

“I’m done!” Eva said with a smile.

“Cool, let’s go” Melia said.

“Bye Mom, bye Dad!” Eva shouted into her house.

“Bye Sweetheart!” Eva’s mom shouted from the kitchen.

“Have a good day darling” Eva’s dad shouted from upstairs. Eva closed the door behind her as she and Melia started walking down the town centre.

On the High Wall, Marcus was lying down looking up at the sky whilst Amelis was sitting up on top of the tower, legs crossed, looking out at the open plains.

“How’s everything looking like?” Marcus asked.

“So far I’m not seeing anything but I can hear that they are getting closer. They sped up their walking pace” Amelis responded.

“Well, looks like we will be getting to see them a lot sooner than we thought, but it means that we can get this over with sooner” Marcus said. All of a sudden Marcus stood up.

“They’re here, can you feel them” Marcus said.

“Yeah, I can see them, they are here. Should we warn the Kings?” Amelis asked.

“Nah, there’s no need, trust me, they’ll realise sooner or later” Marcus said.

“Cool” Amelis responded.

King Ishta arrived at the High Wall to warn the guards of the oncoming danger that he was told about

“King Ishta, can I ask what you are doing here sir?” one of the guards asked.

“I’m here to tell you an order, there is an unfathomable danger approaching the High Wall and it could appear anytime, either today or tomorrow so I want you and the rest of my men on HIGH Alert, do you understand these orders?!” King Ishta said, strongly.

“Yes your Majesty, I’ll notify the guards around the High Wall about your order” the guard said.

“Good, now If you don’t mind I’ll have a look around the High Wall to make sure everything is in tiptop shape” King Ishta said.

“Yes, of course your majesty” the guard said as he ran off to notify the other guards of King Ishta’s order. ‘Alright let’s have a look around’ Dyrra thought to himself. As he walked up the stairs of the tower that led to the High Walls open grounds he heard the commotion amongst the guards about his order. ‘looks like some of them are taking this as some sort of joke but I guess that is to be expected since nothing has ever been able to penetrate my wall but if Bradamis trusts these two individuals then I shall as well’ Dyrra thought to himself. As he entered the top of the High Wall he noticed two guards relaxing.

“May I ask what you two are doing?” Dyrra asked the two guards.

“Oh my god, your Majesty we didn’t know you would be visiting today. Why has your Highness come to the High Wall today?” one of the guards asked, surprised. The two stood up on their feet and bowed down.

“Well, I issued an order to the guards of the High Wall that an unprecedented danger is approaching the High Wall and that everyone were to be on High Alert!” Dyrra said in a serious voice to the guards.

“Your Majesty, your message did not reach us yet but now that it has we shall keep a keen eye out on the open plains to make sure nothing reaches the Great High Wall” one of the guards said, dourly.

“Good, if you see something, you MUST report it to me as fast as you possibly can, do you hear me?!” Dyrra said, harshly.

“YES SIR!” the two responded and saluted. Dyrra carried on along the High Wall watching onto the open plains made up of golden wheat that swayed with the wind, trees that grew so tall that they measured up to the High Wall, forests surrounded the area with lush wildlife, birds tweeted, bears growled, wolves howled, deer pranced throughout the whole forest. The farms that were settled on the open fields held sheep, cows, pigs and chickens all talking to each other, the wind had a tint of freshness in it. The ground was rumbling ‘!, the ground was rumbling?’ Dyrra thought to himself. He could hear the ground rumbling towards the direction of the forest where he could finally see trees moving sporadically, animals running out of the forest as if they were being chased. Then, out of nowhere a stampede of animals of all sort started rushing out of the forest at such high speeds that it almost seemed unnatural. As King Ishta looked even closer he could see that all the animals had black eyes and a nasty black aura coming off of them.

“SOUND THE ALARM, GET ON YOUR BATTLESTATIONS MEN!!” King Ishta shouted out to the guards. The guards rang the massive bell and started setting up the defences with all the necessities needed to able to fight back against the horde. ‘Where is the leader of these animals though?’ Dyrra thought to himself until he heard a bellowing roar coming from the skies. He looked up into the sky to see a black wyvern floating in the air. It’s head was covered in razor sharp spikes that went inwards towards it face with eyes of the colour purple that gleamed so bright but out of the side of its head two large, purple tentacles with mouths and teeth that gave off a purple fog were screaming and squirming around the main head. It had four wings but instead of skin and scales, its wings were made up of a very powerful black fog that expanded far and wide. Its tail stretched to unbelievable lengths with spikes pulsating a disgusting purple colour covering the whole length of it and a revolting purple smoke coming off of the end of it that could be smelt all the way down where King Ishta was. The whole of its body was swarmed in a black aura, almost as if it was a storm. The Wyvern swooped down to the open fields where it was now facing the High Wall. King Dyrra jumped down from the High Wall and landed on the ground with a bang before walking forward, towards the wyvern. As he started walking towards the beast he saw a figure on its back that jumped off that also landed on the ground but he couldn’t see who it was as a dust cloud completely enveloped them. Dyrra stood in front of the dust cloud and stepped into his stance as he didn’t know what to expect. As the dust cloud settled a figure appeared.

“Hoo, that was something, Aye” the figure said. Dyrra saw what looked like a slender figure. The figure was a male with very ghastly skin, eyes as black as the night, and long, black hair, their fingers looked twisted or even demented with how dead they looked, sharp fingernails painted black, teeth that looked like knifes and pointing ears. They were wearing a black, short-sleeved shirt with a cape on their back. Black trousers with black shoes that shone so brightly. Dyrra noticed that on his left arm he saw a tattoo of some sort of bat creature that expanded over the whole of its left side.

“Yeah, that took wayyyyyy longer than it should have, fucking Pollids man, really hurt my feelings, but they did taste good in the end” The figure started speaking to himself.

“WHO ARE YOU!?” Dyrra shouted at the figure whilst in his stance. The figure looked over at Dyrra who was standing in front of him.

“Oh, I didn’t know that someone would come to greet me but I guess after a trip like that I deserve some recognition, maybe Kilbyrt will finally recognise me!” The figure spoke to himself.

“I said, WHO. ARE. YOU?” King Ishta asked the man again in a low, cold voice.

“Alright fine, fine, fine. I shall introduce myself” the figure said as he coughed to ready himself.

“OH HUMANS, I AM DALAVAC NOC, THE 10TH COMMANDEER OF THE MOST BRILLIANT AND BEAUTIFUL ARMY IN THE WORLD, THE GAMOR ARMY. PLEASE PROSTRATE YOURSELVES IN FRONT OF ME IF YOU WISH TO SEE THE NEXT SUNRISE COME UPON YOU, OTHERWISE LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I, DALAVAC NOC, WILL PERSONALLY SEE TO IT TO CRUSH YOUR PUNY, LITTLE KINGDOM WITH ALL OF MY POWER UNTIL NOTHING EXCEPT FOR THE FIRE BURNING DOWN YOUR KINGDOM IS LEFT!” Dalavac shouted across the fields.

“Dalavac Noc, huh. Well then, since you have introduced yourself then I might as well. My name is King Dyrra Ishta and I am one of the Four Kings that governs the safety of this here Kingdom. And since you so kindly expressed your desire to destroy this Kingdom over here then I have no sympathy for you at all, and you shall go nowhere near MY KINGDOM FROM HERE ON!” King Ishta raised his voice.

“Uh jeez, really dude? Fine, since I’m here I might as well have some fun. YOU GUYS STAY HERE ALRIGHT, I'M GONNA GO BEAT UP GRANDAD AND THEN WE CAN MOVE ON!” Dalavac shouted to his army of animals.

“Let’s do this, PUNK!” Dyrra shouted at Dalavac. Dalavac started laughing.

“Okay, make me enjoy this whilst it lasts, GRANDAD!” Dalvac responds. Both now were on the mud grounds, outside the High Wall. Both took their stance until one finally moved. The first one to make a move was Dalavac who rushed King Ishta at such a high speed that King Ishta barely managed to dodge Dalavac’s kick.

“Okay, so you CAN do something at least” Dalavac said, surprised.

“Stop messing around brat and come at me or I’ll come at you” King Ishta said. Frustration started to appear on Dalavac’s face as he spit onto the floor. Dalavac’s eyes started becoming darker and darker.

On the High Wall.

“Looks like they have started fighting” Amelis said.

“Yeah, but both sides are looking equal so far which is weird” Marcus said.

“How so?” Amelis asked.

“Well I know it’s the 10th Commandeer but still these guys should be able to easily beat the Kings up” Marcus said.

“Well, let’s just wait and see what happens” Amelis said. The fight continues, Dalavac and Dyrra were now engaged in hand-to-hand combat with both sides not being able to even land one blow on each other. Dyrra backed up disengaging the brawl and picked up the club that was on his back. The club was as big as Dyrra and was completely made from stone with rough, sharp edges.

“HA, WHAT KIND OF WEAPON IS THAT HUH, YOU THINK YOU CAN HIT ME WITH THAT KIND OF PISSY WEAPON. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO TOUCH ME AT ALL WITH THAT KIND OF WEAPON GRANDAD!” Dalavac boasted, laughing whilst Dyrra kept a serious face. Dyrra swung his Boulder Club sideways towards Dalavac's face at such a ludicrous speed that is should have been impossible for him to do so but as he swung the massive club a small rock flew off of the club at unprecedented speeds towards Dalavac which caught him by surprise. As Dalavac stood there surprised, he felt a sting on his right cheek. ‘I was cut?’ Dalavac realised as he smeared the blood coming off from his right cheek with his fingers. ‘I WAS CUT?!” Dalavac started to show pure anger.

“COVENANT RELEASE!” Dalavac shouted. A black aura started surrounding him, his eyes now turned fully black with a purple line glowing down the middle, the tattoo of the bat creature grew even larger and more vibrant as it spread to his torso and his left cheek. 4 pulsating orbs of darkness appeared around Dalavac’s head.

“COME!” Dyrra shouted. Dalavac rushed straight at Dyrra who swung his Club down at the ground creating a crack, the ground started shaking violently to which Dalavac responded by jumping in the air. The dark orbs started vibrating brutally which resulted in them shooting dark bullets at Dyrra. Dyrra managed to create Stone Walls that blocked these dark bullets. But the bullets got stronger, faster and more orbs started appearing around Dalavac. As Dalavac landed on the ground, Dyrra rushed him swinging his club wildly at the foe. Dalavac managed to dodge the clubs wild swings but he was unable to do anything whilst being attacked. So he jumped into the air once again.

“ATTRIBUTE CHANGE!” the orbs started to mutate into spears. As Dyrra started creating the same stone walls from before, Dalavac sent his spears at him at astonishing speeds, but this time they were able to break through King Ishta’s wall with ease and managed to pierce his lower right leg. Dyrra pulled out the dark spear out of his leg and as he raised his right hand he created three massive boulders, that rose from the ground, which he threw straight at Dalavac. The three boulders were in complete sync with each other as they charged straight at Dalavac. Dalavac couldn’t dodge them as they were too big so he had to cut them in half. As he cut them, shrapnel flew at him which created small cuts on his body but the cloud of rock that was created from the boulders allowed Dyrra to sneak up behind him and with a full swing, his club made contact with Dalavac’s back without allowing him to react. Dalavac was sent flying across the field and as he tumbled and crashed against the muddy ground he tried to regain his balance and eventually got back up on his feet.

“COVENANT RELEASE!” King Ishta shouted. His eyes started burning a bright brown colour, his chin grew in length due to the appearance of sharp, brown rocks that grew on it, his skin became even tougher with his shoulders, knees, arms and face gaining an armour in the shape of boulders with serrated edges, and a tail grew out of his behind that grew to lengths of 2m. Dyrra crouched down, placing one of his hands on the ground and placing his club on top of his back.

“FUCKING DICKHEAD, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE IN MY GODDAMN WAY PISSING ME OFF. RIGHT I’M DONE WITH THIS SHIT, COME AT ME THEN, YOU FUCKING DINO GRANDAD!!!” Dalavac shouted. His body burned an even darker colour as a spear appeared out of the dark aura that surrounded him. He picked it up and it seemed to have been twice the size of the ones he was launching at Dyrra. Dalavac launched a whole arsenal of spears straight at Dyrra who completely evaded and destroyed them all. Dyrra responded to Dalavac by launching a few of his rocks that he managed to forcefully grab out of the ground straight at Dalavac who simply swiped them away. Dyrra launched himself into the air and plummeted into the ground whacking his tail into it and creating a wave of sharp rocks that kept on rising in the direction of Dalavac. Dalavac pulled back his spear and thrusted it forward creating a hole in the massive wave of rock, stone and mud that Dyrra managed to create. Both still unscathed, charged at each other but Dyrra still had the upper hand as he ducked under Dalavac’s spear and sweeped his feet with his tail which made him trip up allowing Dyrra to launch a full swing with his boulder club at Dalavac’s face, making contact, sending him flying yet again but Dalavac pulled himself together even quicker this time and went back straight to charging straight at Dyrra. Dalavac launched his spears at an even quicker rate and pace this time as he pulled back on his spear and thrusted it straight at him. But Dyrra managed to block all of his attempts at attacking and spun around landing a clean hit on the right side of Dalavac’s torso with his club which made him spit up blood and sent him onto one knee.

“You still raring to go Dalavac?” King Ishta asked.

“YOU FUCKING PRICK!” Dalavac shouted as he brushed off the blood around his mouth. He got back on his two feet and jumped back, away from King Ishta.

“RIGHT, I’VE HAD ENOUGH NOW. COVENANT UNLEASH!!” Dalavac shouted.

Inside the Kingdom, the battle outside the High Wall could now be heard. The citizens were panicking and guards were giving out orders to everyone to evacuate immediately to the underground city where they will be residing until the enemy is taken care of.

“Melia, what do we do?” Eva asked. Both looked panicked and concerned but Melia looked over at Eva with a serious face.

“Listen to me Eva, you need to go gather your family and go straight away to the underground city, you hear me?” Melia asked Eva, whilst holding her by the shoulders.

“Yeah I do, but what about you?” Eva asked

“I need to go find my Father, don’t worry you will be fine, I won't let anything happen to you!” Melia shouted as she ran off into the distance, Eva ran off in the opposite direction to go collect her family whilst Melia ran all the way to Palace as fast as she could but as she got closer and closer she saw her Father on the way to the Palace.

“DAD! What’s going on?” Melia asked, concerned.

“The evil that I was warned off has appeared and King Ishta is currently fighting it so we need to go and hurry over to the High Wall and go support him as best as we can” Bramadis said in a hurry.

“Okay, let's go!” Melia said.

“Are you sure you want to come with me there, it's going to be very dangerous Melia” Bradamis said.

“YES!” Melia shouted, determined.

“Good, then let’s go” Bradamis said. They both ran as fast they could and eventually reached the inner part of the High Wall. They both climbed the Tower that led to the top of the High Wall and reached the top where they went outside to witness the two forces clashing but Bradamis could sense that one of them was more formidable than the other and sadly the one who was more formidable wasn’t King Ishta.

“Your Majesty!” one of the guards shouted.

“Quick, status update!” Bradamis shouted.

“YES, KING ISHTA IS CURRENTLY IN BATTLE WITH THE ENEMY AND AS YOU CAN SEE IT’S ONLY ONE WITH THE REST OF THE ARMY BEHIND THE ENEMY FIGURE!” the guard shouted.

“Thank you but I need you and your men to go downstairs to the Kingdom and help the citizens evacuate” Bradamis said, sternly.

“YES, YOUR MAJESTY!” the guards said as they all left the High Wall to go and enter the Kingdom.

“Dad, what do we do now?” Melia asked.

“We wait and see what happens but the moment my friend is in a heap of trouble I’m going to go down there and make sure he is okay and then destroy the punk who thinks it is funny to ridicule my Kingdom” Bradamis said, harshly.

“Okay Father” Melia responded. The both of them looked over at the battlefield where the fight between Dalavac and King Ishta turned up to a new level. The darkness around Dalavac grew even bigger and stronger as it started attaching itself to his flesh. The dark mass that surrounded his legs started growing into his arms, torso and his ears which made them become even bigger and made them look even darker, his eyes burnt a black colour, the purple line that went down the middle of his eyes had completely vanished leaving only the darkness that had hid in them and the aura coming off of them even started to seep out of his eyes. Wings made out of pure black fog started appearing on his back, though not perfect, still looked like they could work, claws created from the darkness started growing and solidifying on his fingers and toes, painting them in a disgusting black colour. Dyrra looked at the enemy as his power grew significantly in an instant as he readied himself for the oncoming fight.

“YES, THIS IS THE POWER THAT I MOST ENJOY, THIS FEELING THAT MOST CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE, LET ALONE ACHIEVE. I RECOGNISE YOU AS AN ENEMY THAT IS WORTHY OF ME USING THIS POWER, SO TELL ME, KING ISHTA, ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR DEATH!” Dalavac shouted. King Ishta positioned himself and held his club very tightly, waiting for Dalavac to make a move. Dalavac rushed King Ishta as he started laughing, Dyrra raised his tail and used it as a support which allowed to him to jump really high into the air way above Dalavac but Dalavac simply flew after Dyrra. Dalavac arrived above Dyrra and thrusted his spear into King Ishta’s back which sent him flying into the ground face first. Dalavac, still laughing, launched himself from the air, straight at King Ishta who was on the ground. Dyrra forced the spear out of his back but Dalavac thrusted another spear which went straight into King Ishta’s left leg, making Dyrra spit up more pools of blood onto the ground in front of him. As King Ishta struggled to pick himself up, he turned his injuries into supports by manipulating rocks into his injuries closing them up and allowing himself to stand up and continue the fight, but Dalavac, with a crazed smile, kept on rushing him.

“YES THAT’S IT STRUGGLE. STRUGGLE AND GIVE ME THE PLEASURE THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR KING ISHTA!” Dalavac said as he kept pummelling King Ishta into a bloody mess. Dyrra noticed that his armour was cracking up and it would break soon which meant that he had to get away from this man before that happens otherwise it will spell the end of him, he could feel it. With one last breath, Dyrra ducked down.

“NICE TRY DICKHEAD!” Dalavac saw that King Ishta was going to sweep his fight. BUT.

“BLARGH!” Dalavac screamed as he looked down and saw that King Ishta used his club with his tail to hit him straight in the stomach, sending him flying. King Dyrra stood up tired, exhausted and a bloody mess but before he could catch his breath, Dalavac recovered himself and launched himself yet again at King Ishta and punched him straight into the gut, which sent him flying straight into the High Wall, cracking it. Dyrra couldn’t move anymore so he just laid there, a bloody mess with two broken legs with the right one having a hole, a broken arm, a bleeding eye and covered in bruises and injuries as he saw his enemy moving towards him, slowly.

“DAD, HE’S GOING TO KILL HIM!” Melia shouted.

“YOU STAY HERE MELIA!” Bradamis shouted as he jumped over the barricade and jumped straight into the pit beneath him. Dalavac saw that another person had entered the open fields ‘another person entered their death huh, well I might as well make the most of it’ he thought to himself. A massive grin was placed across his face as he flew off the ground, straight at Bradamis with a spear in each hand.

“DYRRA, ARE YOU OKAY!” Bradamis shouted.

“I’ve been better” King Ishta responded weakly, as he coughed up more blood.

“We need to get you out of here Dyrra!” Bradamis said as he picked up Dyrra’s left arm and put it over his shoulder.

“DAD, LOOK OUT!” Melia shouted. Bradamis looked behind and saw that the figure was already in front of him.

“DAD!!!!” Melia screamed.

“DIE!!!!” Dalavac shouted, laughing. Time seemed to have slowed down around everyone until Bradamis blinked. He should have been dead something told him, but once he opened his eyes yet again, the figure was gone. ‘Where is he?” Bradamis thought to himself but he quickly switched his attention back over at Dyrra who was now unconscious and lying there, deathly weak from getting pummelled by the enemy.

“DAD, WHAT HAPPENED!” Melia shouted down at Bradamis.

“I DON’T KNOW BUT CAN YOU COME DOWN AND HELP ME WITH DYRRA, HE’S BEEN BADLY INJURED!” Bradamis shouted back up at Melia.

“YEAH, I'LL BE DOWN THERE IN A SEC!” Melia responded back as she ran off.

“Come on old friend, let’s get you up and out of danger” Bradamis said to Dyrra. ‘I wonder if it was those two who saved us just now from that male figure’ Bradamis thought to himself as he carried Dyrra’s unconscious body on his back.

Dalavac didn’t know what happened but he saw that he was on top of the High Wall but he doesn’t know how because he should have been down there right now with his two victims.

“Why are you so surprised?” Dalavac heard a voice and as he turned around he could see a female figure talking to him. He looked around and saw a male figure just lying down on top of the tower.

“Don’t mind him since he won’t be interfering, right now it’s just us two, me and you” Amelis said.

“Who are you?” Dalavac said whilst still covered in the dark armour that he had created.

“Me? You don’t need to know that Dalavac” Amelis said.

“Why not?” Dalavac said curiously. Amelis started smiling.

“Because. YOU DON’T DESERVE TO KNOW” Amelis said. ‘Don’t deserve to know? Does everyone think that I am this small fry. First Zilbyrt, then that Grandad and now this little girl. ME, DALAVAC NOC, THE 10TH COMMANDEER OF THE GAMOR ARMY. INSIGNIFICANT?!!’. Dalavac’s face turned from one of confusion to one of anger and hatred.

“Take that back little girl!” Dalavac said. Suddenly Amelis’s face turned from smiling to one of pure anger as well.

“WHAT DID YOU SAY!” Amelis said, coldly.

“Oh don’t call her that, she does NOT like it when someone calls her that” Marcus said.

“I SAID, LITTLE GIRL, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT!!” Dalavac shouted at Amelis but she just stood there.

“YEAH THAT’S WHAT I THO-“ Dalavac got cut off as Amelis delivered a bellowing kick to the right side of Dalavac’s stomach, sending him flying off of the High Wall and down back to the open fields, creating a hole in the ground.

“Don’t torture him too much!” Marcus said.

“YEAH DON’T WORRY, I PROMISE NOT TO!” Amelis shouted. She jumped down to the open fields creating a massive shockwave and dust cloud as she landed.

“YOU FUCKING BITCH!” Dalavac shouted as he stood back up from the floor, clenching his stomach.

“Are you ready to get this shit on now?!” Amelis shouted at Dalavac. Dalavac stood up and proceeded into his position and stance as Amelis just took a normal standing position. King Voydrick, Melia, Marcus and the slightly conscious King Ishta looked on from the back waiting to see who would win the outcome of this battle.
