Chapter 92: Shitbies

Chapter 92: Shitbies

“Get out through the door now! It will lead you back to Quihaul!” Lugo yelled, advancing toward the monster. His chain was limited, so he couldn’t freely swing it into a large forcefield like Tsugi could.

Throwing both daggers, they spun around the bony spikes jutting out of the monster's spine. Using it as leverage, he pulled and ran up the monster's thigh, jumping from bone to bone like a professional speed climber.

The skin on the monster's leg moved like a wriggling maggot shifting Lugo back down toward the ground.

"Yuck!" Lugo shuddered, feeling like his body was now covered in crawling maggots. He brushed the skin tingling feeling away and landed on the bone on the monster's lower spine.

Swinging his daggers, he tried to sever the spine to disable the creature's legs, but it was harder than he had imagined.

"How – the hell – does Tsugi – make it look – so easy!" He grunted with each swing. The eyeballed hands reached around to grab Lugo.

His eyes widened at the sight of the hungry glaring eyes at each fingertip. Right at the last second, he managed to throw up a door. The monster's hand reached through it and reappeared right in front of the neck of the anus-like head, making the creature strangle itself.

The creature screamed and roared, shaking the dungeon and made everyone cover their ears from the deafening noise.

Lugo's eyes widened at a sudden idea, as though a lightbulb had gone off in his head. Lugo closed the portal and severed the forearm, dropping it to the ground.

The worm-like projections started to emerge again, attempting to reattach itself.

"Damn it, I don't know how to mince it like Tsugi." Lugo muttered, his eyes darting from side to side as though the answers to all his problems would seep out of the cave walls.

Pike jumped through the air and sliced each of the worm-like projections into bits with his broadsword. "Don't let it regenerate, newbie!" He barked.

"I know that!" Lugo raised an angry fist at Pike. "And stop calling me, newbie!"

"Now isn't the time to fight each other!" Max yelled as he advanced toward the creature. His giant ax was covered in black smoke, similar to Tsugi's daggers.

The monster reached its other eyeballed hand to grab the one on the ground just as Tsugi appeared, with blood dripping down her head and minced the arm in the blink of an eye, enraging the creature. The monster now turned all of its attention to Tsugi, wanting to devour her.

She dodged the monster's grasp as it slammed into the ground and cracked the stones. Tsugi ran up the arm and cut off the arm at the elbow before advancing to the neck.

As the arm fell, Lugo opened up a door just when the monster spun around, sending both Tsugi and Lugo flying off of it. The severed arm went through the portal, dropping right beside the door.

Lugo and Tsugi flew across the stone terrace and slid into the wall. "Damn it!" Lugo muttered.

"Why'd you drop it there? You should've taken it outside!" Pike yelled, as he ran toward the severed arm to chop it up.

"No shit dumbass! I tried, but the monster threw me off!"

"Stop fighting!" Tsugi and Max yelled in unison.

The creature, having lost three limbs and one is pinned down by the giant warwolf, was frustrated. It lowered onto its three nubs and the anus head started to contract and pucker. Then out popped five round oval pebbles, like it just squeezed out five turds.

"Gross!" Pike exclaimed. "Did it just – take a shit!"

Then the turds began to move and wiggle. The sacks containing them, ripped open like a layer of thin mucus and the slimy creature wriggled on the floor, stretching and screeching like a newborn monster.

"Did it shit? Or did it give birth?" Max frowned.

"It just shat babies!" Pike laughed, advancing to kill the little creatures. They were tiny compared to the mother, but they still stood at two meters in height.

Tsugi decapitated one of the babies before it got off the ground and minced the anus head. Even with that, the body still pushed itself off the ground, with blood dripping out of its mouth.

Now frustrated, Tsugi sliced the whole body in half, splitting the mouth into two. The worm-like projections began to wriggle out again.

"What the hell?!" Tsugi roared.

"Just mince it?" Pike yelled and spun in a tornado like fashion, chopping up one of the other babies.

"I wanted to find out what we can do to actually kill it, so that we can take down the big one!" Tsugi yelled.

"Just mince the big one too!"

"It'll take more time to mince the big one! You really think it will sit there and just let me do it?"

"Tch." Pike frowned, seemingly upset that he hadn't thought about it before mincing the infant.

Tsugi sliced it: vertically; diagonally; into threes; and fours, but they still healed over and over again.

"Let's just get out of here!" Aylin yelled standing by the portal that was still opened. "I don't think we can kill it!"

"Then we would fail the job!" Max yelled, chopping up the baby into tens.

The infants eyed the portal and made a run for it.

"Oh no you don't!" Lugo clenched his fist and shut the portal. The creatures ended up barrelling into Maki and Aylin, knocking them over.

The men ran over to aid Maki and Aylin while Tsugi ran to check on Ruzo and Ellie.

Ruzo's grip was beginning to weaken and his jaw was beginning to quiver. Ellie was sweaty and pale, her eyelids seemingly as heavy as a mountain weighing them down.

{What happened?} Tsugi panicked.

{Nothing. Just exhausted. Go help them, we can hold this guy for now.} As soon as she finished signing, the giant monster began to move, pushing out another five small turd babies.

"Oh will you stop!" Tsugi yelled, cutting off the head with a few strikes and minced it so it couldn't heal itself. "Damn it. Guess I don't have a choice." She muttered. "Hold tight Ruzo."

He was tired and breathed heavily through his flaring nostrils, but he let out a growling answer as he pushed in his grip, holding on for dear life.

Tsugi jumped onto the giant monster's back and began mincing away. Working as fast as she could.

The creature roared, thrashed and bucked, but Tsugi firmly wrapped her legs around one of the bones on the spine and gripped on as tight as she could. The thrashing wore out Ruzo's already exhausted grip and flung him across the floor, pinning Ellie to the wall.

The creature flipped onto its back, if it wasn't for the spiny projections, Tsugi would've been nothing but a puddle of blood. The impact slammed Tsugi onto the ground, knocking the wind out of her and left her in a ringing daze. The creature turned to face her, its mouth gaped open, moving to engulf her.

She saw a single tiny gold tooth, deep into the mouth, hidden among the millions of teeth. Unsure if it would work or not, she grasped around the chains of the daggers and allowed the creature to take her into its mouth. She swung one dagger around in a circle to prevent it from closing its mouth on her. Taking the other dagger, she carefully navigated through the millions of teeth and squishy, slimy surface toward the gold tooth.

"Ow!" She yelped when she lost her footing and stepped onto one of the teeth, piercing right through her foot. Blood oozed out of her foot and mixed into the blue blood of the monster, turning it into a purple color. The pain shot up her leg like a million daggers, causing her to stop spinning the dagger momentarily, hence allowing the mouth to begin closing in on her. She quickly realized the darkening, enclosing environment and began spinning the daggers again. The monster roared loudly, disorienting Tsugi slightly as she was right inside the source of the noise.

"Phew! You could kill with your breath alone!" Tsugi gasped but she only inhaled more potent air. Wrinkling her nose, she pulled her foot off the tooth and advanced deeper into the mouth.

Slicing around the tooth, just like how Yamo showed her, she yanked the golden tooth out. The creature slammed its mouth shut on Tsugi and melted like ice cream into a puddle of blue goo and slimy mucus.

"Tsugi!" Lugo screamed, running, slipping, and sliding toward her.

Tsugi pushed off the floor, spitting the disgusting goo out of her mouth and blew it out of her nose. Wiping her face with her hands she flung the mucus onto the floor making a thick splattering noise.

"Thank goodness." Lugo breathed.

"Get us out of here." Tsugi continued to fling the mucous off of herself. She approached Ruzo who was carrying Ellie inside his mouth. He laid down in front of Tsugi and opened his shaking mouth wider to reveal Ellie, covered in slobber. Her leg was broken and she was holding onto her side.

{You look horrible.} Tsugi chuckled.

{Look who's talking?} Ellie chuckled and winced, grabbing at her side again.

{Let me heal you.} Tsugi knelt down and placed her hand on Ellie.

Ellie grabbed Tsugi’s hand and shook her head. {Look around. There's no plant life here. Wait 'till we get back outside.}

{Then how'd you heal Ruzo?} Tsugi's fear rushed through her.

Did she use her own life force?

{I'm fine.} She answered Tsugi's unspoken question. {I have a lot more energy than you do. If it were you, it would've been a different story, but I'm fine.}

{Phew, okay. Let's go.} Lugo wiped the beads of sweat off his brow.

Ruzo stood back up with Ellie in his mouth and proceeded through the portal followed by Aylin, Maki, Max and Pike.

"Why are you so winded?" Tsugi raised an eyebrow at Lugo, walking right past him.

"I was opening a lot of portals trying to deviate the shitbies so we can kill them without being overwhelmed, okay?"

"Shitbies?" Tsugi tilted her head.

"Yeah, the shit babies."

Tsugi laughed loudly, shaking her head. "You know? Today is the first day I have ever heard you swear so much."

"Really?" Lugo looked up into the corner of his eyes, trying to recall his memories. "You know, I don't remember swearing much either. I usually only swear when I'm angry."

"So you must've been pissed today then." Tsugi jested, walking through the portal.

"Yes, I was very annoyed today." Lugo said as he emerged from the portal, closing it behind him.
