Ultra Patriot News Channel Pt 3

Ultra Patriot News Channel Pt 3

News of what happened at TAR54186 quickly spread across the colony, initiating large-scale demonstrations and riots throughout all the other districts and reservations. Attempts to suppress the outbreaks of mass civil unrest did not thwart its continuation – or escalation in violence – for thirteen consecutive days, later becoming known to the Apiary as Tir-Torzor’s Prelude to Escalation, (aka the Prelude,) while colloquially by the colony’s humans as the Crazy Days.

The following is a partial video transcript of the Ultra Patriot News Channel coverage during the second night of mass civil unrest:

----------------------------------------

Triumphant sounding music throughout the background of the proceeding intro. A graphic of the title ‘Breaking News’ is surrounded by graphics, before a flashy transition switches to Newscaster Tc and Newscaster Ac West, sitting at the news desk and looking directly at the broadcasting A.I. unit’s camera.

Tc: I am Newscaster Tc of the Apiary’s colony on Tir-Torzor. I thank all for watching this continuing breaking news coverage of the worldwide rioting by humans.

Ac: And I am Newscaster Ac West of the Apiary’s assimilated on Tir-Torzor. I thank all for watching this continuing breaking news coverage of the worldwide rioting by humans.

View focuses on Tc with relevant media on the side.

Tc: Reports and footage of the chaos are continuing to come in and it is all shocking. The unruly human demonstrators broken up by cetaceans throughout different district population centers earlier today, returned past mandatory curfew and is now being declared as a riot. Cetaceans are attempting to restore order, while most of the rioters have been splitting up and causing damage to property. Others have congregated and clashed with cetaceans laying siege to facilities, where human workers have shut down and occupied places of work, already causing severe urban utility issues in some areas and delays in resource quotas in others.

View focuses on Ac with relevant media on the side.

Ac: There is trouble on each of the reservations, already notorious for the self-inflicted depressed economies and human-on-human violence. Humans are running wild, looting and destroying local businesses, clashing with reservation authorities and other groups, as well as hunting down individuals and groups to commit vile acts. This proves that unashamed, unassimilated humans do not care about the lives of others, living in harmony, or solving societal problems, but only want to destroy, steal, and wreak havoc. Look at the aimless unassimilated humans destroying the places those same people call home. What idiot would destroy a community lived in by oneself and why? Some people say this is all being caused by extremist human identity agent provocateurs, stirring up rage among the reservation’s residents.

View focuses on Tc.

Tc: We are not claiming that is the case but just asking the question, “Are extremist human identity provocateurs behind the riots?”

Ac: To learn the answer, we need to ask one of the very people who were present, when this all first stemmed from the brutal and deadly riot, which occurred during the performance of “What A Crazy World”.

Short flashy transition creates a split screen of Newscaster Tc, Newscaster Ac, and Playwright Hd.

Tc: Joining to tell us what happened via broadcast, is Playwright Hd from the place where Hd’s theater troupe works. Thanks for joining us.

Ac: Thanks for joining us.

Hd: Thanks for inviting me.

Tc: Satisfy our curiosities about what happened during the performance of “What A Crazy World”?

Hd: Request confirmed. We were entertaining the audience, then Reservation Humans attacked us. The cetacean security who stepped in to stop the disturbance of the play, were swarmed as we escaped. Our theater troupe went through the trouble of learning the human culture’s humor and including our human playwright in the writing process, and this is how that race repays our work? I feel we deserve praise for that effort alone. The purpose of Human comedy is to offend and be cruel. Offense and cruelty are funny, and every joke has a victim. We found our work humorous, so why those humans could not?

Ac: Unassimilated humans could not take the joke because unassimilated humans cannot handle the truth about the race’s destructive instincts and primitive mentality, which the Apiary wants abandoned. Humans by nature are smug, aggressive, and arrogant, and deserve no freely given respect or empathy. The troupe told the truth and truth does not care about feelings. Those unassimilated humans have the audacity to challenge talented individuals and the system that empowers them, then yet shirk the possibility to be challenged themselves. I say continue making comedies for people like me and Tc in mind, since I’ll always find your work humorous. To think that if those savages were well behaved during the production and it did well, some say humans would have been one day accepted as full subjects to the Apiary. Too bad unassimilated humans ruined everything once again and now such a bright future will have to be withheld from the species.

Tc: That would be a good question. Do unassimilated humans ruin everything?

Hd: Wait… humans were to acquire subject status in that manner? How did you come across this information? I do not recall anyone within the colonial administration announcing this plan.

You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.

Ac: Some people said it.

Hd: Who are these people?

Tc: We must move on to our next guest. Good day and thanks for meeting with us. It was an honor.

Ac: Good day and thanks for meeting with us. It was an honor.

Hd: But–

Split screen and Hd’s audio are both cut off, only focusing on Tc.

Tc: When reports of widespread demonstrations were coming in earlier today, there was footage of some human crowds singing songs, while moving through various population centers.

Camera focuses on both Tc and Ac, as both newscasters turn to look at each other.

Tc: Songs and chants are common when human crowds move together en masse. Is my recall accurate?

Ac: Your recall is accurate.

Tc: There were a few songs from the footage we received I am curious about because I am not too familiar with the meaning of the lyrics. I believe some viewers watching this program feel the same. You told me you knew someone who could interpret the songs. Is my recall accurate?

Ac: Your recall is accurate. That someone is my friend who I contacted for the task inquired. Joining us in the studio is my friend, Anthropologist Co Gashe.

Camera shows Anthropologist Co Gashe sitting at the seat at end of the news desk near Newscaster Ac, as Ac turns to look at Co.

Ac: Thanks for joining us.

Tc (Off Screen): Thanks for joining us.

Co: Thanks for inviting me.

Ac: Co, there are a few songs that my co-host and viewers at home need expertise on to interpret the meaning for us. As a fellow assimilated human in a field meant to study our savage unassimilated species, you clearly have a better understanding than I even could. Quite invaluable to the Apiary.

Co: I’ll be the best expert the Apiary has, long as I’m paid.

Both Ac and Co laugh. Both slightly turn away from the camera as they lean close to each.

Co: I assume you are paying me for this appearance, friend?

Ac: Your assumption is accurate.

Both sit back in their seats.

Ac: Shall we commence the songs for a live study?

Co: Approval confirmed.

----------------------------------------

*Comparisons between other sources of information throughout my research, reveal this upcoming analysis from Co Gashe is filled with falsehoods for the purpose of perpetuating the Apiary’s propaganda:*

----------------------------------------

Ac: Here is the first of the songs. This one is from an armed demonstration moving its way from a nearby population center in District 1.

Ac and Co look off to the side to watch a monitor off screen.

Many humans are marching on a dirt trail, while carrying banners and sticks.

Humans: John Brown’s body lies a-mouldering in the grave,

John Brown’s body lies a-mouldering in the grave,

John Brown’s body lies a-mouldering in the grave,

But his soul goes marching on!

     Glory, glory, hallelujah,

     Glory, glory, hallelujah,

     Glory, glory, hallelujah,

     His soul goes marching on!

Ac and Co turn back to look at each other.

Ac: What is the meaning of this song?

Co: This song is one that worships the ghost of John Brown, which is another name for Jesus Christ, some humans’ undead god that rose from the tomb after execution by crucifixion. Those singing the song are trying to conjure the undead deity’s ghostly wrath down onto enemies.

Ac: What superstitious nonsense.

Co: It is the way for humans to create gods and mythical characters to cope with the race’s inferiority. John Horse, Po’pay, Lucy Parsons, Henry Berry Lowry, Martin Luther King, and Malcolm X are just a few others that the humans of that region believe once existed.

Ac: Delusions like such deserve to be extinguished and forgotten, to save humans from its pathetic floundering in the belief the species is capable of anything other than a nature that is incompetent and self-sabotaging, without guidance from an outside influence.

Co: Your assessment is accurate.

Ac: Okay, here is the second. This one is from a demonstration in one of District 2’s population centers.

Ac and Co look off to the side to watch a monitor off screen.

Humans fill up the street, holding banners and signs while marching.

Humans: Bathatha amazwe ethu, bahamba nemizi yethu,

     Bayosipha isikhathi eside kangakanani?

Bathatha amazwe ethu, bahamba nemizi yethu,

     Bayosipha isikhathi eside kangakanani?

     Umthwalo osindayo, umthwalo osindayo,

     Kuzodinga amandla angempela!

     Umthwalo osindayo, umthwalo osindayo,

     Kuzodinga amandla angempela!I

Ac and Co turn back to look at each other.

Co: This song is threatening the Apiary and its subjects with violence. Notice the question, “How much longer will others bleed?” is presented. The humans want to see how long it will take to capture one of us and bleed us out.

Ac: How sadistically savage. Typical human behavior. Those humans do not deserve pity and a chance to prove civility, but to feel the full force of law and order. Now, this is the third and final song we have for analysis, and it takes place in Reservation 3, right after the forced closure of the region’s lobsurtle capture industry by the troublemakers.

Humans fill up the street, holding banners and signs while marching.

Humans: Olé, olé, olé, olé,

     Come on, join in,

     Olé, olé, olé, olé,

     United, we’ll win!

Ac and Co turn back to look at each other, while Tc is now included in the camera’s focus.

Co: This song is promising sexual gratification if humans claim victory over the Apiary, since the word “come” is used as slang for orgasming in human language.

Tc: Shocking.

Ac: Thanks for the valuable insight into the songs, Co. Good day, and thanks for meeting with us. It was an honor.

Tc: Good day and thanks for meeting with us. It was an honor.

Co: Good day and thanks for inviting me. It was an honor.

View shows only Tc and Ac, who turn to look at the camera.

Tc: Are these humans superstitious, sexually depraved, bloodthirsty terrorists?

Ac: If you have been watching this channel for the truth, then the answer is already clear. We will be back with more news after these messages.

      - End of Recorded Segment -

I The segment of the recorded protest song in District 2 translated:

They took our lands, they took our homes,

How much longer will they bleed us?

They took our lands, they took our homes,

How much longer will they bleed us?

A heavy load, a heavy load,

It's gonna take some real strength!

A heavy load, a heavy load,

It's gonna take some real strength!
