The Roaring Beasts are picking up any remaining weapons and valuables they have from the crumbling monastery before setting out into the city
Illun: Why are we doing this?
Ikutaro: Preparation, we need every advantage we can possibly get
Kyo: He’s right, this is the fight of our lives..
Ikutaro: He…
Kya: Oh come on just grab what you can
Hadane: None of the small things we do can prevent us from our inevitable fate which is either victory or death
Ikutaro: I’d prefer victory over death
Iseri: Sometimes you get a bit of both
Hadane: Is victory truly worth anything when the people you care about aren’t around to celebrate it with you? Can you expend the lives of those you hold dear if it means you will win? Can anything be satisfying unless one has the ability to win? Is anything worthwhile unless you have a lover, family or friends to enjoy it with? Do emotions matter when you can’t feel anything at all?
Qushin: Maybe once you’re an old lady you’ll be able to know for sure?
Illun: Old Lady Hadane and her proverbs about love and war
Hadane: Perhaps my ruminations are trivial but these are concerns that I have about the world around us, dealing with an otherwise normal day turned suddenly into a living hell where everyone you know wants to kill you for a promise of a prize is certainly one-eighty in terms of tone. I wonder how anything lasts in a world so chaotic?
Ikutaro: I wonder what is the purpose of peace in a world where there is always war? The Centennials were created to fight the wars of ancient humanity, why did they give their weapons the capacity to feel pain and love? Why did they do that? Aren’t we just soldiers?
Kya: Geez I need to save my brother get over your existential crisis.
Kyo: How does it feel knowing your brother could have turned into dust at any moment? I could have left you at any moment and you would be none the wiser?
Kya: Huh…well even so, I’m glad I can help change your fate together.
Iseri: Change fate?
Flandon: Fates change on a whim, one day I was alive and then the next day I was run through by a guy in bee costume.
Hadane: Sorry to hear about that?
Iseri: Sometimes I wish I could go back to that fateful day and fight death itself to save my friend. Even if it meant trading my life for his, it would be great to see his youthful life continue to play out, while I as a frail old man could finally find peace in this world?
Hadane: What’s the difference between life and death?
Flandon: If you sacrificed myself for me, then you’d be throwing away what years you have left, perhaps you’d do something for someone else that far eclipses what value my own life had.
Ikutaro: What’s the difference between right and wrong?
Iseri: Did I even have a choice that day
Flandon: You did, you chose to punish myself, you let my loss be a profound negative when you could have turned your pain into power but instead you ran away from their to go back home
Iseri: Grief comes in many forms, maybe this is just how I deal with losing a long-time friend?
Flandon: Even so…I’ll be with you every step of the way
Hadane: How heartwarming, even in death they'll fight together
Kya: What am I looking at?
Illun: I believe Iseri and Hadane were talking to a ghost?
Ikutaro: I believe they were?
Kyo: Ok, now let’s finally get out there and save my life
The Roaring Beasts leave the crumbling monastery and spill into the streets
Qushin: The fortress shouldn’t be far from here
Iseri: If you know where you’re going, then lead the way

Kyo: I don’t think you can, she probably has superhuman speed
Kya: I don’t care how fast or strong she is, I’m gonna kill her and free you from her once and for all.
Hadane: A free man with a free life

Illun: Brother? I wonder how we will fare in combat against an actual goddess?
Qushin: We will most likely do fine?
Ikutaro: The seven of us will likely be adequate to fight Atagne
Hadane: The question is if our adequacy will be enough, I do hope we can sufficiently wound a goddess…
Iseri: I wouldn’t say it’s likely

When you’re done, a group of tough looking goons appear to jump The Roaring Beasts
Goon: Hey, it’s the kid, I can’t wait for the payday…
Ikutaro: Uhm nice try
Ikutaro moves to attack The Goon but suddenly a solar minion attacks them
Ikutaro: What the heck!
More and More Solar Minions appear
Iseri: Atagne is hiding behind goons of her own too
Hadane: It looks like they came right from the sun…
Goon: Hey, maybe we can work together with bright light over there
Fight The Solar Minions and Street Goons
When you win
Illun: Atagne may be stronger than we thought?
Iseri: It does not matter
Kya: I don’t care how many walls Atagne props up between me and her, I’ll tear them all and then tear her in two
Ikutaro: She’s right down the road so we’re definitely going to have to tear something down
Begin Kyoto Streets 2
When you’re 1/3rd of the way there
Hadane: I can feel her warmth, it’s odd
Qushin: She must be very bright if you can feel her from this far away
Flandon: Brighter than any flame I’ve light
Iseri: It certainly says something..doesn’t it
Kya: Like I said…it means jackshit

Kya: Brother, the team of just us alone could probably scale entire mountains, of course we are stronger with other people to support us
Illun: Especially me and my brother, we do a lot
Qushin: That is very true
Hadane: Guess us people with no family to speak of would be weak…

When you’re finally there, the Roaring Beasts are greeted by a monstrous fortress of light that has a bridge connecting it to the rest of the city with every other possible entrance walled out by a ditch created there. The bridge is protected by a gate.
Ikutaro: So…this is the fortress, it’s certainly bright and also large…
Hadane: I can feel a weird sort of warmth, it belongs to our enemy
Kya: Alright..let’s go across
Kyo: What about th-
Kya cleaves the gate in two and begins stepping across the bridge, suddenly the bridge becomes very hot
Kya: Ok what the heck is this it’s suddenly one million degrees
Atagne: Hello
Atagne’s voice can be heard from outside
Atagne: I don’t want any harm to physically come to me after all I need your brother’s soul to be immortal.
Suddenly, a bunch of solar minions begin rushing across the bridge, all wanting to rip Kya to shreds. Illun’s shuriken cleaves one of the minions as the rest of the beasts join the fight
Hadane: If we clear the bridge, then maybe the path gets clearer, I’d certainly like to make it that far…
Fight Minions on The Bridge
After 1 minute of fighting , the party advances forward
Atagne: Maybe I underestimated you…
Kya: We’re an ultimate team…
Kyo: I’m gonna be free yet, just you wait…I’ll be free to choose my own destiny
Atagne: I sure don’t want that

After 2 minutes of fighting , the party advances forward
Iseri: I can’t remember a time where the odds were more stacked
Kyo: We must keep on fighting nonetheless
Hadane: Probability seems to not matter to people who are determined, for some people, any chance is chance enough to win
Illun: We make all our victories…

After 3 minutes of fighting , the party advances forward
Atagne: It seems you aren’t even halfway across the bridge, yet I’m nearly out of minions…
Kya: I said I’d rip every possible barrier to tear you in half…
Kyo: She was being serious
Qushin: I hope you’re prepared for a seven on one

After 4 minutes of fighting , the party tries to advance forward but the bride begins raising like a drawbridge.
Atagne: Seems I’ll have to play a little dirty
Qushin: What is going on
Ikutaro: Oh no
The Party begins to slide down, and as they do that, the bridge begins glowing bright red and the fortress begins flying
Atagne: Good bye you would be heroes…
Kya: I won’t take no for an answer
Kya begins to slide down on her sword and Ikutaro and Kyo join her as the bridge gets even redder
Iseri: Is this the end…
Flandon: Come and join me
Hadane: ….
WIthout prompted, Hadane grabs Iseri and runs off the bridge with him
Hadane: Consider this another lease on life…
Iseri: I was about to be content with my death…
And before Qushin and Illun could say another word, the bridge exploded, leaving fragments raining down as Ikutaro, Kya and Kyo took flight
Ikutaro: So..how hard do you think you can hit a god…
Kya: Very…
Meanwhile down on the deep ground where Hadane and Iseri landed, Iseri lands back first, breaking a few bones while Hadane lands on her head which crushes her skull
Iseri: What…you threw your life away for an old geezer like me…why would you do that?
Flandon: Hey, answer him
Hadane: Figured…a man like you deserved to die surrounded by those he loved but I’m an empty shell incapable of loving anyone…
Iseri: Don’t say that about yourself…
Hadane: It’s true…I’m only alive by a fluke…I was bored not breathing or making a single noise, they thought I died inside my mother but I was still alive in a fickle sense…I could think but I couldn’t feel any emotions…it’s best I finally be put to rest helping someone…
Hadane’s breathing grows more and more weary as Iseri looks over her, a figure cloaked in Black begins approaching the two of them
