We’re back in the memory world, as Umbra and Dye are hopelessly trapped in there, with nothing but there anger and sadness, left as catatonic shells by the torment Kutakhra has dragged them through
Now left to sit in their own wonder, with nothing but each other, but as quickly as the silence took hold, it was broken
Iris (Gastly): Dye?
Umbra: Dye…who’s that?
Dye: Oh, I have no idea, they’re a voice, that’s inside me, calling my name. I feel weird when they speak to me, like I feel centered, like I have an anchor, a center of gravity.
Iris (Gastly): I am a voice, and I am calling your name Dye, and in this world where you thought there was nothing
Dye: But why talk to me, why me
Iris (Gastly): Because I’m a part of you?
Dye: What?
Umbra: You mean Dye, is like Qiinu, they have multiple souls?
Iris (Gastly): You are correct, Dye, actually has seven souls
Dye: What….there’s no way…
Iris (Gastly): Don’t believe me, let me show you
The voice took ahold of the memory world and took them back seven years ago, to the fight between Vaniel, Cynthus and The Century Corps against The Morning Star, they can see a woman controlling multiple humans made of color
Iris (Gastly): The woman you see using all those colors in combat, that was me, I was holding my body together even though my soul was literally getting split across my seven centers, or colors of the rainbow…
Dye: So that’s me, or the person that would become me, kicking ass right now
Iris (Gastly): Yes Dye, because we’re one in the same…
Umbra: So that’s how Dye, is so unique
Iris (Gastly): You understand Dye, you have an incredible burden you have inherited
Iris fast forwards to the end of the fight, where the Morning Star lay crumpled on the ground and Iris splits into seven
Iris (Gastly): Those seven humanoids were fused back together along with a new soul crafted by Kutakahra, they formed you
Dye: So he made me, with more humanity than I thought
Iris (Gastly): Yes Dye, and as long as I’m here, and you can feel me, none of his tricks and deceptions will work on you
Dye: Thank you Iris for telling me this, but I’m not strong enough to face Kutakahra
Iris (Gastly): And you won’t do it alone, because your sister, Umbra will be with you every step of the way.
Umbra: She’s right Dye…ever since that cursed night, I’ve always felt alone and powerless and like no one could understand me and like no one cared about me, but that changed today, I learned I had a brother who was another victim of suffering like me, but I had a brother, a real member of my family who maybe won’t leave me to the wolves burning alive, but you’re not all I have…
Dye: I’m not
Umbra: The Century Corps are still out there, and Euke and he’s my friend and they’re all fighting for their life out there against Kutakahra, we don’t have to do this alone, he’s powerless if we stand together…
Dye: I don’t know if they’d accept me…
Iris (Gastly): Dye, being a hero is in your nature, in our nature and I was a member of the Century Corps in my life, we have a devotion that transcends all misdeeds we have done to create a world where love and life can flourish, it was the dream of heroes who died defending our world from peril years ago
Dye: But still-
Umbra: Dye, you just want, real love, someone who doesn’t use or abuse you, someone who won’t just throw you away like that, learning that Dad wasn’t who we believed him to be sucked, but we can grow beyond this and we can finally find a better way to walk through life
Dye: You’re right, I don’t want to live my life in a state of constant sadness, like being stuck in this void, I want to escape and I want to live my life on my own terms, making my way through life, the best I can.

Iris (Gastly): Dye, I’m already proud of the man I know you’ll become
Dye: Thanks…
Umbra: Alright, but all of this is meaningless if we’re still trapped in this void
Dye: We’re not trapped Umbra?
Umbra: What do you mean we’re not?
Dye: We built the prison out of our memories, all we have to do is break out…
Umbra and Dye begin punching the ground in unison causing the memory world to be torn apart and they pound the ground harder and harder as it begins to crumble around them
The Physical World
The Party has found themselves overwhelmed by the very last Army of K members and by Kutakhara’s relentless sniping attacks, shadow mist and void fire bursts. They are trying to keep on equal footing with them, but Kutakahra’s attack patterns are too erratic to narrow down.
Vaniel: I may have to concede this one…
Olivia: Any plans of escape
Euke: My parents are gonna kill me?
Kutok: That’ll hardly matter squirt
Qiinu: We are a little outmatched
Kutakhara: Hahaha, acknowledge my superiority in combat
Suddenly, the door is blown open by a blast of color and light, as Dye and Umbra leave the house
Euke: Umbra!
Umbra: Hey Euke
Kutakhra’s expression turns from smug to aggravated
Kutakhara: How did you escape my memory world?
Umbra: You made the mistake of making our memories your cells, so we broke out
Dye: A cheap trick, not that it did you any good in the end
Kutakahra: You insolent brats, I was about to win and here you go, showing up giving these guys a second chance
Dye: Well, what can you expect from us
Umbra: We’re gonna send you directly to hell for all you did to us
Euke: Hell yeah let’s get him
Vaniel: That is fine by me
Qiinu: We’re up first to send him down there
Kutok: I hope this was worth it
Olivia: All you wannabe villains always have the same fate…
Kutakahra: No no, it all can’t fall apart here
Umbra: You better believe it!
Dye joins the party
