“ So, with that out of the way. Here, I wanted to give you these.”
Jeff turned toward Rachael with three skeleton cards with plain borders in his hand.
“ I was going to give you four, but as I had to summon that one...”
Jeff gestures to the still-idle skeleton before taking a seat.
“ Man using mana really takes it out of you, anyways, I remember what that long note said. We are vulnerable weak links. I have my summons, so I can hopefully defend myself, but you...”
Rachael blushes and turns away thinking about it.
“ I am a soft target. I played games where it is standard practice to target the healers first.”
Jeff nods and offers the three cards to her, and she takes them.
Cardmancer- subcommander secondary class offered.
* Subecommanders take half the cost of cp from shared cards to maintain. (rounded up)
* Subcommanders can maintain cards and issue new orders to units under their command, change out equipment, and direct the growth of units.
* When a unit under their command is destroyed, they may resummon the unit at a 20x cp mana cost once twenty-four hours have passed since the unit was defeated.
* Subcommanders can not use equipment cards
* Subcommanders can not make new unit cards (outside of upgrading a unit)
* Subcommanders can control elite units they evolve themselves. (elites controlling subcommanders take the full cp cost instead of half)
* Subcommanders can not control bosses
* You can only have one subcommander every 25 levels rounded up. (current limit:1)|
Jeff read the message as Rachael took the cards and had one pop up in front of her as well which revealed the same information, but only that pertaining to her.
“ Well, that’s interesting. I did not even know there were subclasses.”

Jeff decided to keep the fact he did quiet.
“ So what can they do?”
“ No idea let's look at the one I summoned first.”
To his suggestion, they both move to the still construct that had been watching them the entire time. Feeling cautious, he slowly reached for the arm of the construct and found his fingers stop short of the bone, Where his fingers stopped seemed to appear some kind of plastic or glass skin.
“ You were trained to be a doctor right?”
“ I was in med school, but I get what you are asking. You want me to give it a physical?”
“Yeah, if you could.”
He backed away as she took his place, Starting with the construct's hand before moving up to the shoulder then feeling around the neck, and after working her way down. On the construct's chest, she squeaked in surprise when she cupped a couple of mounds as she blushed before working her way down. Only stopping to examine the hip area.
“ Well, it is a she, in the context that it is a woman’s body type. Slim and lith. She lacks nipples, a belly button, or well... those other things. However, her muscle and bone structure is surprisingly human-like. Her internal organs are a mystery, however.”
Jeff thought on that a moment before nodding. If the construct was like a human then he could in theory treat it as a blank slate. Which by what Xilna said before, was already true in an elemental aspect as well. With a thought, he brings out his last card, the one with the golden border and it starts to evaporate in lights as another skeleton joined the first. This one was easily six inches larger and had denser bones.
“ Can you examine this one as well? It is my starting boss.”
Rachael nods and begins her examination like the last one, this time only pausing at the groin for a moment.
“ Well, that is a guy, who does not have the equipment like she doesn’t. No nipples, belly buttons, or genitals. His muscles are way denser, however. She would be something of average for an adult twenty-year-old, while he would be an athlete.”
Jeff rubs his chin in thought hearing that.
“ Interesting, why don’t you try summoning your three as well?”
Agreeing with him, Rachael takes her three cards and raises them up to be displayed. As she did all three evaporated and three new constructs appeared. Jeff could make out a faint outline of the skin of the three, as they each appeared to have some kind of white mass to them. Rachael then examined them as well, which revealed them as two women and a man. The women were like the one he first summoned, but the man was smaller than his boss. Both in height and muscle size.
Factor added to existing and future cards “gender”
Genders can change the characteristic of units summoned. Males tend to be larger and stronger while females tend to be smaller and more agile. This is the norm and not a rule. Evolving a unit will change its physical aspects further.
As if the notice did something the males of the constructs seemed to grow an inch.
“ Well that was cool, I guess they evolved since we figured out their genders. I think I can even summon each gender specifically if I want to, which I don’t right now. I am just over half mana right now and my head is killing me.
“ Oh, that sounds bad.”
“It's like having a small migraine. Making it hard to focus on minor things. So the rule of thumb does not go under half if able.”
Rachel smiles at that as the doorbell rang. Xilna was at the door.
