He could feel the world swirl above his head and he gripped the edges of the table to keep himself steady. The man chuckled at Pilot's anger, he had expected nothing less.
"Of course I did, but the ingredient is only able to be manipulated causing hallucinations," The man laughed.
Pilot shook his head trying to focus on anything else but the pain and dizziness spreading throughout his entire body. His tongue felt loose and his head felt heavy.
"I am not telling you anything!" Pilot snapped.
"You might not be able to," The man snickered.
"Freeland, Elisie?" Pilot asked.
They were passed out on the ground, the man's arms wrapped around Pilot dragging him to his feet. He was too weak to resist the man he had never felt so helpless. It scared him more than anything Pilot stumbled forward as the man tried to drag him.
He caught a small look at the woman earlier who brought the cake as she grinned. Pilot felt a sharp jolt of adrenaline hit his senses and suddenly he broke free of the men grasp
leaving his hands and knees aching but the sudden rush of energy had given him some strength. The stranger seemed unperturbed by his behavior and simply raised his eyebrow at Pilot with amusement written all over his face.
'If you give up now you won't be able to fulfill Fawn's summon…maybe you will see home someday,' A voice chimed.
"Minds Arrow!" Pilot yelled.
"My name is Kot, but that won't matter for long," Kot laughed.
Pilot's attacked missed Kot due to his unsteadiness , but he was able to strike Kot in his leg causing a great amount of pain and fear on him. Pilot then kicked Kot in the chest, sending him flying backwards. Pilot charged towards Kot as he began to get back up. As Pilot got closer Kot managed to push him away with ease. Pilot was still disoriented after fighting with Kot.
'There is no way I am going to be able to last…" Pilot thought.
He wanted to say something, suddenly pausing to place his hands over his mouth as Kot stopped smiling. He wanted to say something, suddenly pausing to place his hands over his mouth as Kot stopped smiling and started laughing loudly. The laughter was deep and harsh. He was grinning as if he were enjoying what had happened to Pilot.
"I can't talk…if I speak then for sure he will learn my real name," Pilot worried.
His bowels were in pain. The pain didn't help with his disorientation either. Kot walked up close to Pilot, standing in front of him. Pilot stood on tiptoes looking up at Kot's face.
The burning in his gut intensified as Pilot's body was in agony. He clenched his fists feeling his fingernails digging into his palms. The pain was unbearable.
"I knew it…" He gritted his teeth.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
Kot bent down leaning into Pilot's face, Kot smirked, punching Pilot in the stomach. A grunt left Pilot's lips, the pain was so intense, he couldn't breathe. Kot punched him again in the stomach and the sound echoed around the Pilot fell to the floor gasping for air, tears streaming down his face. He was trembling violently, his heart pounding rapidly in his ears.
"I…I…" Pilot whispered.
He was terrified as the concoction worked his tongue making it even harder for him to think straight. He tried to stand. But his legs refused to work properly and his vision went black as he collapsed onto the ground.
"Force him to take a little more and take him to the basement," Kot babbled.
A few hours later Pilot awoke with a start breathing hard. He sat up slowly looking around. His surroundings were dark. He looked at his hands and noticed they were bleeding from several places he winced as he touched one of them.
The cold concrete floor beneath him was damp, he smelled blood mixed with vomit. Pilot closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and calming himself. After calming himself he carefully pushed off of the floor he stood up and looked around the room, it appeared to be a basement of some sort.
The clanking of chains could be heard in his left ear. He turned and saw his bow and arrows were placed against the wall. A slight breeze blew through the air. He shivered in fright. His eyes scanned the closet. He noticed that most of the shelves were empty and some of them were broken, as if someone had smashed them, but he couldn't tell if they were destroyed in order to scare him away or if they had been broken in order to get to him.
'Where is Freeland and Elisie?' He pondered.
He could faintly make out that the voices were not male nor female. They weren't talking about food. There was some rustling. It sounded like two people talking or rather arguing over something.
"My foot…" Pilot thought.
He noticed his foot was bound together tightly with a chain which was attached to a metal pipe sticking out of the wall it was hanging right below a tiny window. He could see a bit of light peeking through it. There was no light anywhere else in the hallway.
'I hope everyone is safe.' Pilot hoped desperately.
He could hear tapping of shoes in the distance and it was quickly becoming louder
Pilot turned around and ran as fast as he could. The footsteps continued to become closer and closer to him. It seemed to him as if their pace was going faster and faster as time went by.
The door slammed open causing Pilot to stop dead in his tracks as the figure entered the small room. He couldn't tell who it was it was hard to see in the dim lighting. Pilot waited as the person made their way towards him the person pulled on a rope which caused lights to come on.
"Whose blood is this under me?" Pilot asked.
"That loud mouthed brat!" Kot snarled.
Pilot flinched, but tried to calm himself.
"Well you obviously haven't gotten the message yet," Pilot muttered
He looked at Kot warily.
"Why are you here?" Pilot asked.
"I am not exactly a captain, but I work under Caym…I can't fully read names I am getting from you though," Kot mumbled.
"What if I had forgotten my true name? Would you have been able to read it?" Pilot yelled.
Kot grabbed Pilot's face between his hands and forced his head to look up at him.
"It's not very fun trying to read your mind when it doesn't want to cooperate," Kot chuckled.
Pilot pulled back, but Kota grabbed him roughly by the neck dragging him up into the air. Pilot could smell the foul odor of urine and feces that filled the small space.
"Don't struggle," Kota said in a menacing tone.
Pilot wasn't strong enough to deal with someone like Kot yet Pilot wasn't strong enough to deal with someone like Kot yet. He would find a way to escape.
"Where…is…Caym?" Pilot asked.
"You will meet him soon enough," Kot replied.
Pilot struggled again as Kota threw him to the ground. He struggled to regain his footing only for another blow to land on his chest knocking him to the ground again Kot kicked him in the ribs twice before he managed to catch his breath enough to try and get on his feet again.
He gasped in pain before his body suddenly went completely limp. Kot stared at Pilot for a minute
"Interesting…very interesting," Kot murmured.
"Where is Freeland and Elsie?" Pilot yelled.
Kot paused for a long time not saying anything at all just staring at the wall as if he hadn't heard.
"What do you know about them? Did they get captured and locked in a cell? Tell me, please tell me," Pilot begged.
He pleaded for information, hoping somehow his friends were alright, but he could feel that he wouldn't get any answers from Kot.
Kot was still silent. Kot's stare was so cold and unreadable, it unnerved Pilot, but Pilot didn't care as long as his friends were okay.
"Oubliette Fiend Control!" Kot shouted.
Pilot stopped functioning as though in trance as he felt a huge wave wash over him. His consciousness faded as his eyes became hazy as he felt numb and weak.
"Tell me what you know and I might reconsider killing you, but don't ask for too much," Kot threatened, grabbing hold of Pilot.
His arms dropped to his side with hollow eyes staring at the floor pushing away thoughts of rescue of freedom as he succumbed to the darkness.
"I am not taking a chance with you…the chains stay…" Kot whispered.
Freeland peeked inside the door to watch Kot stand in front of Kot , staring blankly ahead, holding Pilot.
"You should go now…he seems a little more subdued, perhaps he needs a night to recover." Kot stated.
Freeland nodded "Understood Master Kot…" He bowed before leaving the door.
Freeland sighed walking away. The door shut behind him, locking it. Faint screams could be heard coming from inside the door Freeland covered his ears as tears streamed down his cheeks.
