Elsie

"What's wrong? Why are you shaking your head no?" He asked trying to calm Pilot down.

A girl stood behind the staircase watching everything in fear. She knew he wasn't going to refuse giving his name to these two strangers in order to buy his freedom.

Her pink antennae moved back in forth as she became angry thinking how stupid the whole thing was. He was so pathetic. So weak.

"Don't give your name idiot!" She shouted.

Everyone gawked at her in surprise. She didn't seem to care.

"I beg your pardon? What did you say to me little girl?" The wife snapped at her.

"Do not speak to her like that!! She has nothing to do with us!" Freeland yelled.

She extended her arm to the air in a threatening gesture, her antennae stood proudly up on end

she looked at the other women.

"Leave this to me!" She whispered to them with venomous malice seeping out of every word she uttered.

"I will kill you!" The wife shouted.

"But we will not!" The husband uttered.

"My gifted ability is Nullification therefore I can keep my name!" She smiled.

"But…deal is a deal…they helped Pilot get better and I can't go back on my word," Freeland noted.

The wife and husband were terrified looking at the pink haired menace standing in the middle of the room. She raised a single finger in front of her lips as she looked at Freeland who shook his head, confused.

"Oh Freeland…you are too naïve…" She snorted.

"Shut up!" Freeland shouted.

"Don't tell me to shut up! My name is Elsie!" She yelled.

Pilot's gaze met with the corner as Elsie started to notice the figure standing in the corner. Elsie just flipped her hair with a smirk and returned her attention to the man.

"Were not allowing you to leave!" The wife and husband said together.

Caym winced in the corner knowing he could not touch Elisie so easily. Freeland took a deep breath and glared at Elsie the girl stared at him with those cold icy milky white eyes of hers.

The man paced in a corner for a few seconds before putting his hand up to the couple standing waiting for an order.

"You…You may go free…" The husband said.

They left the room in defeat and ran away from the room. Caym immediately came out from hiding staring angrily at the pink haired girl who was still standing at the same spot. He growled menacingly as he made his way closer to her and she didn't move.

"Come on…come to me. You know the rules, don't play coy…I am not in a mood to play games!" She said happily.

"For now you will be saved…" Caym said.

He disappeared in a flash of smoke and appeared in front of her. She screamed out in fright as Caym suddenly grabbed hold of her throat in a choke-hold as he lifted her into the air. He squeezed harder, making her gasp in pain.

"F-king try it!" She shouted.

Her lingering fingers dangling from Caym's tight grip. Caym smirked, amused as he saw her struggling desperately under his grasp. Then a dark shadow appeared on her face before it grew in size until it engulfed her entire body. It spread rapidly like a tornado engulfing all of the people that were still present. Some of them dropped to their knees as they tried to escape the darkness.

Others fell to the ground screaming in terror. Caym released his grip on Elisie's neck and she fell to the ground gasping for air. Caym stood over her with a triumphant smile on his face.

"You…you…" She gasped.

"So…I can touch you…" He smiled.

She quickly noticed no one was even awake from that attack , but her She quickly noticed no one was even awake from that attack , but her anger only increased tenfold after seeing Caym laughing with satisfaction.

"How dare you?!" She yelled angrily as she scrambled to her feet and pointed a finger at him. "How dare you mess with our minds!?"

"Mess with your minds? You should be thanking me," Caym laughed.

"You're going to regret messing with my mind! Just like you messed with my family! You think just because you stole them all away from me, that we gifted would let you stay?!" She said furiously pointing a finger at Caym.

"You are just lucky I can't take your name from you…" Caym frowned.

With that he was gone again. She chased after him and she reached out her arms and legs but she couldn't catch up to him. In desperation, he grabbed onto a tree branch and pulled himself onto it. She jumped up, desperate to catch up to him but instead, her limbs failed her.

She slipped off the branch and fell to the ground. She hit the hard ground with a loud thud. She groaned in pain and then she rolled over onto her stomach. She sat up slowly rubbing her forehead.

"He is gone and I could do nothing…" She whispered.

She walked back inside and shut the door behind her. As she went towards the bed, she heard someone coughing. She frowned. When she entered the bedroom, there was Pilot on the bed coughing uncontrollably. Tears were streaming down from his pale cheeks. She approached him cautiously and placed her hands gently on his shoulders, he didn't react.

"I heard your name whispered high and low and didn't expect this to be the hero to save the land," Elsie laughed.

The third eye made her scream in surprise and she stumbled backwards. She stared in shock at the sight before her. There in front of her stood a tall male with short black hair and piercing purple eyes. His face was filled with determination and a glimmer of sadness.

"Where is the child?" He demanded.

"A hotel? Are you the figure that lives inside of the third eye?" Elsie asked.

"Yes…I am…he will be alright in the morning…" The figure said.

"Are you a God?" Elsie wondered.

"God? No, I am a creature born from the power of something you could barely understand… "

Elsie nodded with understanding.

"Thank you" Elsie thanked.

The figure smiled at her. He opened his mouth to speak but Elsie interrupted him.

"Wait! Before you leave…can you please tell me your name?" She inquired.

"I am a being of the night and a servant of the moon goddess, and I live in darkness…please do not ask questions that have already been answered" The being replied.

Pilot collapsed into the side of the bed and disappear with a soft 'pop'. She stared at the wall blankly. When the pain started to subside for Pilot she turned around and walked out of the room.

The next day Pilot was stretching his legs and arms out happily Freeland sat there explaining what happened last the last week with a horrified expression on his face.

"That woman was crazy! Why did she act like that? And why did she make me feel all weird? And why is she gonna always be following us? Did we offend her somehow?" Freeland rambled while running his hand through his hair nervously.

"Maybe, but it's nice to have people around to not be lonely!" Pilot smiled.

"Pilot, she is going to get us killed!" Freeland pleaded.

"Freeland, you need to stop worrying about it and her gifted ability might come in handy for us anyways!" Pilot responded.

Freeland was clearly upset as Elisie smiled back at them both for Pilot to start sniffing the air around him curiously.

"Let's get breakfast!Let's go eat!" Pilot cheered.

Pilot looked around the small street they were on to see if anything was open yet . But the street was almost empty so he shrugged his shoulders and continued walking with Elisie and Freeland following closely behind.

"Pilot, this town is generally called the town with no name…I think it would be best if we just left," Elsie admitted.

"Did Caym take the towns name too?" Pilot asked.

"You can sorta say that…basically you found the wrong time to get sick idiot!" Elsie shouted.

He felt embrassed as Elsie gave him a disapproving look. He decided it best to just keep quiet. Elsie smiled at him and he smiled back before continuing walking. Suddenly Pilot's eyes lit up. He stopped in his tracks causing Elisie to bump into his shoulder.

"A train?" Pilot shouted.

He stepped on the tracks below examining it carefully. There were some broken wooden boxes lying around which caused him to step back in shock.

"Pilot!" Elisie exclaimed.

"We don't have enough money! We won't be able to afford this train!" She said frantically.

"But there is no tracks here?" Pilot noted.

"There is a train station up north from here," Freeland interrupted.
