So I'd been hoping to simply post this as an author note, but as I've been languishing on trying to finish the next chapter, I thought I'd better at least give all of you an update.

While I had high hopes for this series when I began it, I've also identified several core issues during the writing process that have me questioning its viability long-term. I haven't completely abandoned it, but it is going to remain on hiatus for the immediate future. Currently I'm focused on trying to finish book 2 of my other RR story, and once that is done I will at least finish CotS through the end of book one. After that... I haven't decided. I may simply try to come up with an epilogue that wraps things up , or I might continue, or I might simply scrap this all for a re-write in the future. As of now nothing has been decided, and I apologize for the indecision on my part. While I love Bubba and his adventure, I also want to tell stories that are worth telling.
