DATE JANUARY 25TH, 1882

It has been approaching a year that they had been in this world, and they were only to have one case. During this time, they had gotten into a familiar life But on January 25th While Lucia was reading the morning paper. She then got a phone call. The voice on the other end of the phone Lucia quickly recognized as the mayor.

Lucia: Hello, Mayor what can I do for you,

Flynn: Hey I have been asked by a friend who is a fellow mayor to see If I could get you guys to investigate something.

Lucia: Sure, where do we have to go?

Flynn: is a smallish town in Maine it is called New Bristol if I remember correctly. This mayor asked me to ask you guys to investigate a former whaling ship that was missing for a while but just recently returned to port two weeks ago. But as soon as it did, strange occurrences started. My friend who I know since I have a vacation home there that I occasionally visit.

Lucie: Sure thing we will start to get ready. You can tell your friend that we will be more than willing to go to see if we can help

Flynn: That's wonderful I will pass the good news, bye.

As soon as the mayor hung up, Lucia gathered the rest of the A team into a meeting. An hour after.

Lucia Ok guys this is the second major case we have. Our job is to investigate a strange wailing ship called the Oregon that has gone missing but has recently been repaired back in the harbor. Bus soon after strange things started to happen. We will be heading to a town in Maine cause New Bristol we will be going by train and there so be sure to bring compact weapons. The entire A team will be going alongside 2 15 men tactical teams. So, we will be renting enough space to carry all the people and cargo. Any questions?

Tanya: Any guess on the investigation's schedule?

Lucia: At this time no.

Monica: what about sleeping accommodations,

Lucia: I heard that the mayor of Boston has a home nearby so we might be able to ask to use it.

Monica Ok

Lucia: if that is all, start packing.

After that, the efforts were in full swing to get everything ready to leave. During this time Lucia also had the first mobile tower installed and connected it to the quantum server in the basement of the building that was finished after the completion of the lab wing. Lucia had also prepared one with a quantum chip that could be put in remote areas to create an area with cellular cover. The server in the HQ could connect to most of the eastern part of the United States. Though there had to be a relay antenna that covers an area with around 100-mile radius with around 4,5 g speed.This is important as it will allow the expedition with headquarters,

For preparations, Lucia is able to establish the ability to use Flynn's mansion near New Bristol and she is also able to get transportation there. The only thing they had to do is prepare the weapons and investigative equipment needed to run it.

January 27th 1882

Two days later everything was packed and the 40 people were ready to go. So they headed to the train station with several carriages full of luggage that was mainly weapons and ammo and research equipment.

FEBRUARY 1ST DAY 1

After several days of travel from Boston to New Bristol they watched as the terrain changed slowly, and soon enough they could see New Bristol in the difference. It is a small quaint-looking seaside village. That looks like it has had better days due to the decline of the whaling industry but it looks like it is still going strong. The first day in the New Bristol area is spent unloading the equipment brought and hauling it to Flynn's mansion. Which Lucia had originally worried was not enough to fit everyone quickly disappeared after seeing it. It took the entire day to get settled in.

FEBRUARY 2 DAY 2

The A team and Lucie head into town as the tactical team stays at their temp base and guard it

The team split into 2 groups

Team A: Lucie.Monica,Anya ,Koko, velmeta

Team B tanya, hermine, chocolata,Kronos, Kirgirl

GROUP A LUCIA POV

The first thing that Lucie and her group had to do was to meet with the Mayor of New Bristol. So the group headed to city hall and we quickly were able to meet with the mayor.

Lucia: Hello mayor

Mayor Hello thank you for agreeing to help and for coming from Boston on such short notice. I hope that your trip was okay.

Lucia: The trip was excellent, the scenery on the way here was gorgeous. And it is ok I am just glad to help. Though I have one request. Which is a possibly come across strange items that may have a part in this. If we do find any suspicious items, we will be seizing them to prevent another incident like this from occurring.

Mayer: Yes of course I understand you are the professionals. Take what you think might be causing I just ask that you stop the commotion that the ship has made. Because one day it just appeared. When that had happened, I remembered a conversation with the Mayor of Boston and gave him a call to ask you for help. So, I also asked everyone to leave the boat alone and refrain from approaching. So the ship should not have been disturbed. Because sadly I think that something terrible has struck the crew of the ship.

Lucie: I see we will do everything in our power to stop it. Will be doing recon of the town and the soonest we will be able to investigate the ship is tomorrow. I hope you understand that we would like to take you around town.

Mayor: Of course I understand. Have a good look around.

Lucie: thanks for your understanding. You are probably busy so I will take my leave.

After that Lucie and her group look around town and in particular the dock area where they see Oregon in the middle of the bay looking grimy and unkempt. They then acquire several boats that they would use when they eventually investigate the ship. They then look around town for several hours. They manage to get some information on the crew and the ship but nothing that suggests what might have happened to it. So, after they finish searching their part of town, they head to the rendezvous point that was where they go once they finish.

GROUP B TANYA POV

Tanya’s group searches the other part of the city. It doesn’t take her long to find a beggar that is a shabby man with an unclean beard dirty teeth and an unkempt appearance that claims that he saw the ship materialize in front of him. As she listens to the story of the beggar, every bone in her body screams that it is a bunch of lies. But some strange feeling that she has says that he is telling the truth. Leaving here utterly conflicted. Once the beggar finishes the story Tanya gives him a dollar bill forgetting inflation. The beggar's eyes light up as he sees the money and begins to profusely thank Tanya who says that it is nothing.

As Tanya walks away she gets the impression that the beggar now thinks that she is some wealthy socialite which causes her to briefly flinch at the thought.

Their next stop is the church which is a prominent part of the town. After promising to donate to the church the Pastor agrees to talk about several tales from the area and a little about what he knows about the ship and several of the crew members. The other members of the tanyas group are writing down notes as Tany and the pastor talk. They talk for around an hour and when they are down Tanya donates around 50 dollars to the church. After that Tanya and her group wander around town before heading to the rendezvous point where group a is already waiting

LUCIA POV

After they meet up, they begin heading back to their lodging. Once they exchange the information, they gather the information they agree that the only thing left for them to do is to board the ship. They also decide to assume that everybody on board is dead dying or has gone insane due to some object onboard. So, the plan is that if anyone is alive that they should be interrogated and then killed to prevent their experiences from being leaked to the public and just tell the authorities that all of them were dead when they got on board. Because Lucia knows that even if they were physical their their mental status was not, and it would be impossible for them to recover.

So it was decided after some fierce debate on the topic that the survivors would be attempted to be interrogated to get information off of them and then executed for two reasons. 1 to keep the truth hidden and two to because it would be too difficult to control them due to them most likely having gone insane. The rest of the night was spent preparing for the raid on the ship and the clearing and investigation of it. The tactical team and a team were ordered to bring suppressors by Lucia and Tanya to avoid unwanted attention from the gunshots.

The plan is that the team and 15 of the tactical team would board the ship while 10 stayed peer side and provide security and the rest would stay at the lodging and provide security,

FEBRUARY 3 DAY 3

The next morning everyone got up early and got ready and wore tactical gear. Due to the small size of the town Lucie thought that it would be too much of a hassle to try and hide the gear. So, all of them headed into town with their suppressed submachine guns and pistols. As they entered towns, they got several strange looks as people started whispering about who was entering town. Some of them recognize the A team. After a several-minute walk they reached the area that the boats were in. They took 5 boats Each hold 8 but they only have 5 to a boat so that they could have space to put items on them. As they approach the ship. Which seems in disrepair. When they get alongside and tie a rope to the ship and then they throw up ladders. When Lucie, who is the first one up, Lucie soon realizes that blood covers the deck and she suspects that it is human. Once everyone gets up and takes a look at the top deck. They leave two soldiers to guard the boats. They soon enter the ship and Lucie soon discovers the dissected corps of Humens. She likely presumes that it is the crew. This causes Koko to throw up and several members of the team look queasy. While Lucie and the tactical team seem unaffected causing Tanya to ask Lucie how she isn’t disgusted. Lucie then responds that she has grown used to the sights. This shuts Tanya up as she tries to process Lucie's answer and what she could have done to see so many of these types of sights to get used to it. As they go through the ship, they encounter several crew members that are alive but have gone insane and seem to have participated in cannibalism. After coming to this conclusion Lucie orders that they are killed on sight which they promptly do. As several suppressed shots rang out leaving the crew members dead. They manage to find the first mate who comes to investigate the noise. Since he seemed to maintain some of his self-awareness. He is then interrogated.

While that is happening. Lucie heads to the captain's deck and finds the dead captain. She also finds the logbook which describes the descent into madness that started after they found several pieces of rock from an unworn civilization. The log shows how the crew started to become cannibalistic and go insane. Once Lucie is finished skimming she puts it in her back along with several other items and starts to look for the stones. Meanwhile, they manage to get the first mate to tell his story. Which causes the story to come together. Though hearing him means that even though he was better than some of the other crew he was still insane and he was executed after he told his story. After that, they looked for the stones. But before that. Lucie orders all of the A team off the boat except for Chronos, Hermione, herself, and the tactical team as they are the only ones that have mental resistance to the influences in the stones. And they know the stones are responsible for the crew going insane. They want to prevent the entire human members of the team from being exposed to it. Over the next several hours they find the stones and put them in separate crates and bring them to the deck. They also take control of the ship and collect the bodies and prepare a mass grave in the cemetery in town and blur all of them together. They also bring several items of interest from the ship and then decontaminate the ship from the blood that Lucie suspects may cause people to temporarily develop cannibalistic urges.

Once they finished up their investigation which consisted of getting samples of the blood and some flesh of several bodies of dead crew members. They took pictures of the scene before they cleaned up and took pictures of the ship. They then brought all the items to the lodging and the bodies to the cemetery to be buried. Then after reporting to the Mayer stating that everyone was dead on board and that it would be best if Mayer just accepted what they told them. The mayor signs and agrees because he can guess but does not dare ask. Is as if they killed the survivors to cover up the truth because the report that was given seems to have been done intentionally vaguely with obvious parts missing but the mayor doesn’t feel like pushing the madder since it is over. With the task over they prepare to go with the newly acquired items.

AFTERMATH OF CASE TWO

The team heads back the same way they came and once they arrive and bring the items first to the lab where they are thoroughly investigated and logged in reports that are hundreds of pages long, the items are then brought to the warehouse where they are stored in special containers to keep it safe as well as to prevent people from being manipulated with its power. Meanwhile, the ship is taken into the city and boarded by city officials who to their shock find it clean if not worn down. The officials that knew the company buried them but still wondered why they cleaned the ship that thoroughly. The ship was due to no buyers due to the incident sold for firewood.

EPILOGUE 2

This case is the second case and the start of more extreme methods to keep the truth out. For the near 120 years, it was public knowledge that everyone died. That was until 2018 with the primary part of the investigation the bodies were dug up and investigated. Evidence shows that they were killed using guns. But more specifically guns that only the company had access to, modern weapons. Meaning that they were alive when the investigation started. It is most likely believed that the decision to kill them was to keep the truth from getting out. But evidence suggests that they had gone insane and had for some reason taken up cannibalism. Though that is not to necessarily execute them. It may provide more context to the situation. The items that were brought into the company are among many that were taken as part of a part of the FBI that has taken supervision alongside some of the employees for the company who have provided advice on how they should be handled.
