Celeste~

I felt my palms begin to buzz like they usually did when I did this. The empty balls were there they just needed to be filled in the palm of my hand. I used my energy to fill them to the biggest size that I could, It was even slightly bigger than the last time I had practised which was not long ago. I guess they weren't lying when they said as soon as you get to this age, things develop very quickly.

I held it in my hands but did not fire up them.

"I didn't expect you to be able to hold them

so easily, does it take energy to keep them

formed?"

"No, just creating them"

"Okay, that's enough you can let it go now, actually can you absorb the energy ball back into your body." I'd never tried, all of the times when I was permitted to use my power were when we were in an open environment, so I had no need to absorb them back in.

The energy that once filled the ball now began to fade away back into my body, it was almost the same feeling when I was creating them

but it was just in the opposite direction. I felt myself regain the energy that I was going to lose once I released the biggest ball I could create and it felt good.

"Okay great. Jared! Come and do the same thing you did to her whip."

He came from the little corner where he was playing what I assumed were games on his phone and met me inside the box. He took out the same Swiss knife and I created my energy ball at the practitioner's demand. It hurt all the same as it did before, she'd asked me if there was any difference in the type of pain and I told her that it was practically identical. He used his electricity after that which also had the same reaction that I did before. It manoeuvred its way around my ball like it had its own atmosphere.

He left once again and I was left ok the box with the woman's pondering eyes. She said that she would get back to the interesting stuff later and proceeded to do a bunch more things that were more on the menial side such as the speed of my firing, my accuracy and the damage that they were able to do.

"Can you make the energy balls more concentrated?"

"I don't know, I don't know what that feels

like."

"Try to fill the ball more slowly, it's a trick that's helped people with powers that may be able to be concentrated more."

I did, I filled up the empty space as slowly as I could when I eventually finished creating one of the same size I did before, it was way more powerful and measured up amazingly on the meter that was measuring the damage and amount of energy that was produced overall.

"Well done Celeste, that was great." The woman smiled at me while she clapped her hands softly in congrats.

"Thank you, it was way easier than I thought it would be." The next couple of things that she asked me to do was see how fast and how hard I could swing my whip. She told me that was more of a physical thing and it would be something I would definitely be tasked with having to train, to show my dedication to progressing my powers and to being a notable student at the Academy.

"Your whip does a decent amount of damage, do you think that you would be able to make it more concentrated like you did with the energy balls?"

"I'll give it a try but I don't think that It will be as easy as before, it's a whole different feeling."

I began to manifest my whip, I did it slowly, just as I had before and measured it against the glass. To my surprise it was more powerful than before but it wasn't as big of a difference as the two balls from before.

"Your lack of belief in yourself holds you back, you focus too much on what you lacked and not enough on what you have."

I think I knew what she was referring to.

+FLASHBACK•~•Eleven years old~

Blasts of fire escaped from Chloe's hand and It was so cool! I loved the way It looked and at night especially, the burning red was so pretty against the black sky. "Mommy look! I'm doing it faster!" She squealed as she ran into Amy's arms, she planted kisses all over Chloe's face and told her how proud she was that she could do it so well. I was proud of her too! Her powers were amazing I would love to be able to have fire like her.

Saul turned to me and picked me up into the sky while spinning me. I giggled while I flew in the air. "Your turn next Celeste, throw your energy balls into the sky as well."

"Okay but make sure you're careful guys, we don't want anyone getting hurt okay?" Saul said, "Of course honey." Amy turned to me and waited for my response. "I'll be safe Amy!"

Saul put me down while Chloe and Amy went to the side to not be in the path of my power, they used to have to stand way further but now that I was older they trusted me more, that meant that Chloe finally got to watch me use my powers too. I looked to Saul for approval to use my magic and everyone watched as my blasts of energy escaped from my hands.

I was nervous and shaky because I didn't really get to see my parents use powers like mine and Saul and Amy didn't really know what to do with mine so I had no proper practice.

It was a wobbly start but eventually, I was throwing straight blasts of energy balls into the sky. "Woooo!! Amazing Celeste!" Saul screamed from behind me. Chloe joined in and began screaming while she ran up to me. "Be careful baby, make sure her powers are all

away first remember?"

She jumped in my arms anyways and began screaming about how much she loved it "Celeste the balls you made were so pretty in the sky, I even love them more than mine!"

"Thank you Chlo Chlo!" We were buzzing with the same energy for the rest of the night, It was so fun and I couldn't wait to do it all again next time!

~~Present Day.

"Yeah, I get where you're coming from, I'll work on it."

"You'll have to, with powers like these you're making your way right into a good Academy."

"I sure hope so." She flicked around the sheets of paper that were at her desk before stopping on a blue sheet. "So do you have any Psyche powers?"

"Yeah I do. I can make people see things that aren't there." Thankfully Chloe's parents had no issues with Harmea powers and let me practice freely as long as I was responsible.

"Okay. Jared! Go and get the test dummies!"

He squirmed off at the sound of her orders and returned with a lineup of 5 people. "This line of people are individuals with different levels of Harmea starting from weakest to strongest. Max, go on and step into the box."

The brunette man walked into the glass room and stood in front of me. "Now, what exactly can you do?"

"I can make people see things, like actual objects or people or weather or just anything that isn't actually there. The most I make it last for is usually for about 40 seconds."

"Okay, you may use your power on him."
