Easy Reincarnation

Easy Reincarnation

It happened when I was working at my- ah wait, nobody is going to believe that. I was sitting in front of my computer wrapped, in a blanket, in the dark, with a fan blasting, as I was binging an animated series on NetFox.

Ring Ring - As I reached for another pizza roll from my giant bowl of pizza rolls my phone rang, pausing my show picked it up.

– "What is it, Matthew?"

– "Why do you sound like that?"

– "I don't know what you mean."

– "Nevermind. I know you're not doing anything, what do you think about being reincarnated man?"

– "The hell are you even talking about bro?"

– "I just heard this voice in my head saying I've been chosen to reincarnate, it also asked if I knew someone else who'd want to reincarnate too. So I called Leo, but he said no. I also called a few others, they also said no. Then I had a thought, I know someone who is very depressed who actually might want to reincarnate."

– "So you called me, heh, alright man, sure, not like it would happen, you weirdo."

– "If I'm weird you're weird!"

– "Yeah, yeah, whatever, anyone I'll talk to you later, I gotta finish my show."

– "Bye!"

After I hung up I returned to watching and eating, a character I liked was just about to be confessed to, and as he was about to answer everything went dark. When this happened I abruptly stood up. "What the hell! I wanted to hear what they said!"

Looking around I was in an entirely different place, I was in a restaurant, no, a cafe. As I noticed that the smell of coffee and tea guided itself to my nose, upon catching the scent my body seemed to be put in some kind of calm and soothing mood.

Looking around the cafe I saw Matthew, he looked towards me as well and just merely waved. Sitting across from him was a woman with brown hair dressed in what appeared to be medieval armor.

Moving my eyes around the cafe I could see a few more tables that were occupied. One table possessed a boy with white hair and ragged clothing across from a man of seemingly Japanese origin. Others seemed to be in similar shape to the boy.

As he continued observing the cafe he came to notice how most of the people here seemed unique in origin, some even appearing to be supernatural in origin.

When he brought his attention back to his table, he noticed how a middle-aged man, who pulled off the silver fox look mind you, was sitting in front of him with a slice of cake and coffee placed in front of him.

His head tilted left and right as he didn't notice the man's presence before. Questioning himself for quite a while the man looked at him after finishing his cake.

– "Hey, feel like reincarnating? I will reincarnate you." Surprisingly, a fairly carefree and relaxed voice came out of the man's mouth.

– "Really!? But why? I can't recall doing anything that would allow me this chance."

– "Let's just say someone above thinks you would make things interesting."

– "Oh... That's cool I guess. So will I get some sort of power, system, or something?"

– "No? But we will require you to do something for us when you get there, are you willing?"

– "What do you mean?"

– "The Rings, you must find them and you must remove them from the hands and control of all people. It wishes for you to set order and bring about the desired harmony that comes with it."

– "Ring… Order… Honestly, that sounds ridiculous, why would I want to do something that sounds like it would be really painful and tedious."

– "Please calm down. It wasn't my decision in the first place, "It" said that would be the one condition for giving you an easy reincarnation."

– "Then, then give me the hard reincarnation, wait, what's the hard reincarnation?"

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

– "You'd have to go through a simple test."

– "Sounds simple enough, what's the teat about?"

– "You'll have to fight strong creatures, with your own strength. For example, the group behind you fought many giant creatures, and a large one with the ability to level mountains."

....

....

– "Fine. Then can I make one request?"

– "What is it?"

– "Make me a girl."

– "What will the point in turning you into a girl do, how will that affect the quest for world order?"

– "Nothing, just personal preference really, nothing special."

– "If I do this will you reincarnate and do what we ask without giving us any difficulties?"

– "No promises, honestly what is the definition of order, you never told me where the order needed to be established, so I'll settle for order in the house."

The man chuckled. – "That was complete bullshit, but I'll allow your words, sure I'll make you into a girl."

– "Hell yeah!"

– "But if you don't take possession of the rings and return the needed order to the world you will most certainly die."

– "Return order... That's quite the broad genre, can you be specif-"

– "Good luck."

– "Wait-"

Before being allowed to finish speaking everything once again went dark as I once again was moved someplace else, yet it was still dark.

In the cafe

After the boy was transported away the old man was left there chuckling to himself as he drank his coffee.

– "He could've still lived somewhat normally if he didn't wish for anything," he laughed. "That kid is truly entertaining." After calming down a small smile appeared on his face.

"Must be why "It" has placed such interest in the boy, ah I mean girl, hahaha!"

– "Could you please quiet down? Your privacy bubble disappeared when the boy left."

He cleared his throat – "Ah, yes, I apologize for the noise."

Soletti Hospital

I seem to be in an actual dark space now, noticing that I immediately had a thought, 'Am I in the womb? I guess that's natural, can't reincarnate without being born'

After thinking this I felt a pushing force behind me.

In a hospital room, a woman had just successfully given birth.

After putting two clamps on the umbilical cord and cutting it, the nurse spoke to the woman.

– "Congrats miss! She's a beautiful baby girl."

Handing the woman on the bed the reddish-purple baby, the nurse had a bright smile plastered on her face.[1]

Getting a good look at her child, who looked to be looking around its surroundings, the mother had a loving smile on her face.

– "Lulia, my beautiful child." She spoke the child's name in a loving but tired voice.

Six months later

Six months, it's been six months since I was born, my mother is a lovely person as I learned through the time I've spent with her.

I was currently in my crib next to my mother, who was knitting something at the kitchen table. I've yet to meet my father, during my time at the hospital I was constantly fading in and out of sleep.

My mother was a beautiful woman, she had short black hair, that smelled of salty water like I was out at sea, it was a calming scent. Along with her tanned skin and pointed ears. My father was supposed to be on a business trip of sorts, he seemed to go on a lot of those.

Surprisingly I was in some type of futuristic world, at least based on what I've seen so far. Even more surprisingly I was hella cute!

Ahem, anyway, I'll have to learn more about this world it seems.

...

I'm also just now realizing how stupid I was in the cafe. I could've still asked for more information on my supposed objective! The man never said I couldn't, I was too focused on becoming a girl.

Stupid stupid stupid, I'm so stupid! Ugh, whatever, no turning back now. I just have to be clueless for most of my life... yeah...

– "Lulu, what's wrong." My mother's, mother senses seemed to pick up on my upset mood. "Come on, it's alright, I'm here, I'm here."

Picking me up out of the cradle my mother hugged me as she patted me on the back, being embraced in my mother's warmth I quickly began to doze off.

Being with such a loving mother I can't help but think about my father back home, though he wasn't the most affectionate parent one could have, he did do his best to raise me.

I hope he's alright...

Brigid Tower

On the highest floor in the tallest tower in the city, Brigid Tower, gazing out the window, down at the city shrouded in the night was a man in a military uniform.

Coming through the door in a hurry was another man, a young man, also in a military uniform.

– "Tower Marshal, there have been sighting of Kritol fighter and search ships spotted in Unhoh city."

Hearing this, the Tower Marshal's eyes flashed with anger, turning towards the young soldier he spoke

– "What!? They dare set foot on our land without permission! Lead me there at once."

– "Yes sir!"

With a salute, the young soldier led the Tower Marshal as they were also joined by two other soldiers, seemingly of higher rank than the young soldier.
