Quickly shuffling through the bag she was clutching a severe amount of pain suddenly struck her. She dropped the syringe she was pulling out of the bag as she hunched her back and let out moans of extreme pain.
She clenched her hands around the bag in response to the pain, causing her to quickly release the bag, not wanting to break the syringes. As she started digging in her arms Tavella hastily rose from her seat while Karma stopped Lulu from hurting herself. Grabbing the straps hanging off the sides of the bed Tavella promptly strapped her in place.
Lulu was squirming erratically, kicking her legs around, stretching her hands out, trying to grasp at something, blood was leaking from the corners of her mouth as she had bit down on her tongue; She opened her mouth yet no words came out and she once more closed her mouth, tightly clamping down her teeth in pain.
Feeling something take hold of her hand, Lulu managed to slightly calm herself as she made eye contact with Karma through her teary ducts. She gripped the hand even harder as she managed to mutter out her words in a whisper.
– "T-The... syringe in the bag... s-stab me... with it," Lulu whispered, wincing in pain as her face writhed in pain.
Nodding her head in understanding, Karma grabbed Lulu's bag and dug out a syringe filled with blue liquid; quickly popping its covering off she gently stabbed it within Lulu's arm, pressing it down, injecting it into her.
Her body began to cease its constant squirming as her moans of pain started to die down, having lost consciousness, the only thing left of her attack was the silent blobs of tears falling down her cheeks.
Not even a moment later some more people rushed into the med-bay with Doctor Hila and Sol following closely behind, once she entered she immediately began checking up on Lulu. She looked at her arms, and legs, and pulled out a device in the shape of an orb that hovered around Lulu doing full-body scans. Once it finished scanning it let out several different beeping noises and let out a piece of paper with words written on it. It then had two vials pop out of its bottom.
Reading the paper Doctor Hila grabbed the two vials and mixed them forming a more solid smooth mixture; Digging some out with her finger and observing the mixture she nodded her head and Sol signaled all the men in the room to leave. Once they were all gone a wall rose from the yellow tape separating the med-bay from the control room; With that, she spoke to Karma and Tavella.
– "Could you girls please remove her clothing, I must apply this to her skin." Asking this she poured the mixture into a jar the orb ejected, making a more paste-like product.
Seeing how she was a doctor Karma did as she was asked, but once she did she was quite surprised, to say the least. She felt the scars and callouses on Lulu's hands earlier, and could now see her skin much more clearly than before, as Lulu tried her best to cover as much skin as possible. There was burnt skin all across her forearm, and her back, as well as slight burns on her legs.
Once her outerwear was all off, Doctor Hila began to rub the lotion-like mixture on her hands before she started to apply it to Lulu's burn injuries. Silently paying attention to the slight grunts that escaped Lulu's mouth each time she did so.
– "Doctor, how did this..." Karma wanted to ask the cause of such severe injuries on her friend's body, but she stopped herself, knowing how to go about asking it.
Listening to Karma halt her speech, Doctor Hila knew what she wanted to ask it was quite obvious by the look that was on her face. She could tell how worried and curious the girl was by how she was looking at Lulu — so she thought it would be fine to tell Karma the reason behind such injuries, after all, she was truly worried. She was sure Nizael wouldn't mind.
– "Around seven cycles ago, when the young miss was a mere three maybe four cycles old, an assassin was sent after her." She tried recounting the time of the event.

– "An assassin? W-Why, no, who would want to send an assassin after a child!? I've never had someone attempt to kill me!" The thought that someone tried to kill Lulu, was both a surprise and a frustrating revelation.
– "Well your situations differ my lady. You both may be ostracized by the Detrid, but the young miss is a different case entirely, most of the Detrid races want her dead." She clarified.
"The only reason they can't even try anything to her is due to her being of the Bavel family, if she were in a weaker family, or if the Bavels were as much a scummy household as the majority of others her life couldn't be guaranteed."
Saying this Doctor Hila turned to Karma as she continued rubbing on the medicine. She looked into the eyes of the redhead child, they were raging with a flame of anger, her face was also scrunched up upon hearing the only reason for Lulu still being alive.
The reason wasn't even that perfect of a reason, her life was still continuously threatened, and she was still suffering from injuries cycles old. Even though their situations were similar Karma understood that Lulu had to suffer much more than her.
– "...Who was it that sent the assassin after her?" She questioned. She wasn't sure why, but she could feel the slight anxiety around the Doctor as she avoided mentioning who sent the assassins.
– "..."
Doctor Hila remained silent. Her eyes looked over Karma and Lulu as if she was contemplating even answering the question, then she turned to the now down wall and made eye contact with Sol who simply nodded.
– "It was the Nexus family, well more specifically, her father. It also wasn't the last, there were a few after the one that did this to her, though only one of them was also his doing." She divulged.
– "Father... her father?" She asked herself multiple times. She just couldn't believe it, Lulu's father attempted to get rid of her? What kind of parent would try to get rid of their child?
It was completely imperceivable to Karma that a parent could do such a thing to their child; Her father, though no longer in this world, showered her in love every day, and not once had he mistreated her, and her mother, even though she was quite strict at times she never did anything that would hurt.
Lulu having to deal with being both abandoned by her father and having to go through his assassination attempts was just an overall unfortunate situation to be in.
"Who is her father, if I might ask, what exactly happened before the assassination attempt?"
– "Oh sure, her father is Noxus Nexus I believe. I think a little while before the incident her father came home and immediately upon seeing her treated her with disdain and kicked the young miss and her mother out of their home." The Doctor explained. After talking she returned her complete focus to Lulu and continued applying the medicine to her.
Karma clenched her first and clamped her teeth together at just knowing her friend had to go through this. She looked at the hand that was being held tightly by Lulu then looked at her face that held a goofy smile. She smiled in turn and lightly began to stroke her head.
Tavella watched the Doctor rubbing the medicine on Lulia and looked over Lulia's body in the process as she thought of the near future.
The question Tavella asked herself was what she should do. She didn't even remember this event happening until it happened, turns out that she still isn't used to everything that has happened recently.
The stars in her eyes moved with her thoughts as she began to perceive her surroundings in much greater detail. The streams of Flauna surrounding her seemed to be shaking in nervousness and she looked at the source; The Flauna around Karma and that, thing, around Lulia were causing a commotion, it seemed as if they were bickering with one another.
It was quite an entertaining sight, something she has never seen before was causing the Flauna to react differently. After watching them for a while longer Tavella giggled out loud attracting the strange stares of Karma and Doctor Hila, to which she stared back at them in confusion.
Karma and Doctor Hila were caught by surprise, when Tavella, who was previously quiet and invisible, laughed out. Her face remained expressionless while her eyes seemed to display a moving galaxy of stars. After looking at her strangely for a moment and being stared back at they returned their focus to Lulu.
Karma could not feel the change in the Flauna around her, she couldn't even see it in the first place. She looked out at the control room and began thinking of her mother, someone who is always there for her, and also thought of Lulu's situation. Lulu's family all seemed to care for her yet they were all also busy.
When she saw Lulu's portrait and when she saw Lulu for the first time she could feel an air of loneliness around her. She could also tell that Lulu wasn't getting enough sleep either. So she decided something that she would never take back for as long as she lived.
– "Lulu, I will remain by your side for however long you wish for me to do so, I'll do my utmost best to stay and protect you and I'll make it so that you can always smile. I promise you, so don't worry about it; Don't worry about anything."
She promised.
