– "Great. Let's go now," Nizael asserted as she sat back down, closing the glass.
– "Finally. We already have little time as is," Helia exclaimed as she checked the small radar in front of her.
Moving the Yoke around Nizael spun the ship around and had it pointing up towards the atmosphere. Putting her hand on the lever by her side she prepared to pull it back as Helia pressed buttons that removed the limitation of the thrusters. Pulling back the lever a gurgling sound rang out on both sides.
Soon after the sound started, a red meter in front of the lever rose at a rapid pace. Once the meter was filled to the brim She pulled the lever up while pressing the buttons on the Yoke.
Boom! — At once the ship blasted off breaking the sound barrier and leaving behind a large trail of puffy blue smoke; Once more piercing through the clouds Nizael increased her grip to keep the Yoke still, and the ship in a straight path up. They broke through the ongoing battles, going through the atmosphere. As they broke through the Exosphere they came face to face with Kritol Fleet, there dozens upon dozens of different types of assault ships and the large and menacing hunk of metal that was their Dreadnought.
A colossal mass of metal being pushed by large thrusters was sitting in front of them surrounded by a large number of assault ships.
Spinning with the Dreadnaught going through it was the Ring. It gave out a sort of regal and majestic feeling, while also displaying the ancient feeling you would expect from an artifact.
The Ring was no longer pulsing and using the Compression Field, so it was best to assume the Admiral in charge of the fleet had most likely deactivated it when they lost many ships.
Their ship was still zooming through space as their gazes scrutinized the space occupied by the fleet Helia readied the ship's guns as Nizael made sure to slow the ship slightly down as they prepared to rush through the fleet straight to the unmoving Dreadnought.
– "Hey, General. Please allow me to recommend you change the plan, you see I have an adorable daughter at home and I would love to return home to her." Helia held her cheek in her hand.
"General back at home you're known as the most strategic and logical General to ever exist in the Collectives. It wouldn't be smart to risk your life like this — you also have an adorable daughter and granddaughter, I'd assume you'd want to see them again. So let's just not do this what do you say?" She continued.
She was trying to make an excuse for them not to behave in such a reckless manner, especially when they are both necessary parts of the military, and... the not so important fact that she didn't want to do this; But alas, she got the answer she expected from Nizael.
– "Indeed, my daughter and especially my granddaughter are the most adorable beings in this world, and I am the most brilliant in the Collective. All the more reason we will still go through with my."
"After all, I need to finish this quickly and return to my family before nightfall."
– "That is not what I mean–" She tried to dissuade her once more.
– "Thanks to what you said we must hasten our mission." The ship rattled as she spoke, and she quickly swerved the ship straight into the Kritol fleet.
At their movement, the assault ships immediately began to assault them while creating a blockade. The automatic turrets on their ship began to whir as it spun with ferocity as Helia sprayed its rounds at the encroaching ships. While she was doing that she also rotated the missile launchers and launched at the ships approaching from behind; The Kritol ships tanked many attacks before going down and after Nizael and Helia broke through the blockade the ships had a hard time keeping pace.
Although the Kritol ships were surely sturdy and powerful, they were also unnecessarily slow when moving and firing some of their weapons, which made them have a harder time dealing with the sleek and fast ship that Nizael and Helia were riding in, also known by the name of Bazel-920 — a ship made by the Bavel family mechanics for the Bavel private army.
What made their ship even harder to deal with was its pilot; Nizael was a master pilot who moved every inch of the ship with precision as she dodged and weaved through the mass amount of ships.

Chook! Crack! Bang! – The ship shook wildly as the sound of something being hit before the sound of it breaking and exploding, looking to their left Nizael spotted the problem. The left wing and the missile launcher of the ship were punctured by one of the ships pursuing then and she shook slightly as Nizael steadied it.
– "Keep the guns steady, we'll be losing speed!" Nizael shouted out, doing her best to keep the ship from blasting off in the wrong direction. To allow them more control she also lowered the power of their thrusters, lessening their speed and allowing some Kritol ships to slightly catch and deal more minor damage to the ship.
Deciding to have them drill through the many ships, Helia clicked the same buttons that she previously clicked when they were still on the planet. She pursed her lips as the beak of the ship once more spun at dangerous speeds. It ripped into the ship that moved in front of them as they continued to smash into more and more ships, their ship also being damaged while they got closer and closer to the Dreadnought.
Once they were less than thirty yards away from the Dreadnought, fewer assault ships were following them, their ship was making unnatural sounds and it was slightly sparking here and there. They knew that the ship was practically falling apart at this point, and they spotted the open entrance to the Dreadnought's hanger. Quickly shifted the Yoke, carefully to not pull or yank it completely out.
Moments later they began to hear the engine of the ship begin to give out on itself while the meter in front of Nizael had almost gone all the way down, affecting the thrusters as their power began to wane. Helia held her breath as they zoomed towards the hanger....
Bang! Crash! Screeech! – With a crash landing the ship banged hard into the floor of the hanger crashing onto other idle ships as it screeched across the hanger making sparks launch up as a result. The ship was smoking and making cranking sounds from the bending metal, the glass covering the two seats in the cockpit shot up as two figures climbed themselves out of it.
Cough! Cough! – Nizael had her handguns ready, coughing loudly, she slid down the destroyed ship's now still beak and placed her feet down on the hanger; Following Nizael Helia hopped out without any problem as she observed the enemy hanger, she was quite surprised that they weren't attacked as soon as they stepped foot out the ship, perhaps...
Tossing one of her handguns to Helia, Nizael had her hand light up in white light and placed her now freehand on the remains of the ship, causing it to melt into putty just moments later; She got rid of the ship to not give the Kritol any of her technology.
– "I told you this plan would work perfectly just fine," Nizael pointed out, ignoring the slight bleeding and scratches on her and Helia's faces.
– "Perfectly? Ugh, General, you're bleeding quite a bit, save your delusions for another time please, and we can't keep doing such reckless plans." Helia sighed as she looked Helia in the eyes.
– "Hah! Don't act like you didn't get exhilarated from what we just did, say what, let's do it again." Nizael was almost certain they would do it again.
– "..." All Helia could do was remain silent. That was due to the fact that she truly did feel it exhilarating to do such dangerous stunts, thus she prepared no rebuttal.
While they were chatting for a short while, the two women blatantly ignored the Kritol soldiers that were taking place around them within the hanger. The soldiers had their many weapons pointed at the pair, ready to fire off at any moment, yet they merely stood there only watching them as a pair of boots banged against the ground, cutting through the encirclement.
A tall man with shiny white wings and an all-white uniform, he had large shoulder guards with ten medals and six stars pinned on his chest. The Kritol soldiers had cleared a path for the man that had an arrogant look on his face.
He strolled on up, standing around twelve feet away from the two, he started to speak to them in an overly confident voice.
– "General Bavel! It is indeed a pleasure to make your acquaintance. You see we've been waiting for you to come here, his highness—"
Ignoring the man's annoying voice Nizael and Helia held their hands up to their ears as they turned their radio into the Command Room. They listened to Coraline Mellin referring to them for their remaining time till the Anti-Space cannon fires — They both nodded their heads as Helia tossed the handgun back to Nizael.
– "Five minutes. Let's finish this quickly Lieutenant General Urnfox," Nizael took a step towards the man, who was still talking mind you, and she gave him a quick uppercut with the right handgun.
Firing her left handgun a large net bathed in electricity launched out of it and covered a majority of the soldiers and clamped down to the ground. The soldiers attempted to break free from the net, but to no avail, it was made of surprisingly stretchy material.
After many of the soldiers had been subdued by Nizael's net, Helia moved swiftly as she started to deal with the remaining soldiers.
Tossing it to the side she marched to head deeper into the Dreadnought but was forced to halt when she heard the annoying voice once more, so she turned around and faced the downed man, whose nose was bloody and broken, and he was missing quite a few teeth while he struggled to get up.
– "General Bavel, I don't recommend you do that, you wouldn't be able to handle the consequences if you were to do that." The man spoke in between his nasally and blood-covered mouth.
– "Oh, really now?" She said, sarcastically questioning.
With her question, Nizael decided to approach the man, each step she took caused the man to start to sweat profusely.
"I didn't have enough time in the first place. I might as well teach you a lesson when talking to your superiors." She smiled.
