Assuming that she had done enough after a few more stomps Karma settled down as a noise reached her ear — There was the sound of gurgling coming from the TIOT and following it was the filtering of the smoke. It was quite unnerving and disturbing, was what Karma thought, it was as though some creature was lurking in the shadows of this space.
She waited a moment more and the surroundings began to lighten up, she was being reunited with the outside world once again. Though when she looked at the parents of the three children there was quite the perplexing scene; They were quiet and had stopped causing a riot. At the base of the stairs was a tall elder woman with shiny black, even though most of her flames had disappeared there were small streaks of fire here and there. Karma wanted to tell the woman not to touch them but her worries were left unfounded, the woman was caressing the flames–not being affected by them one bit.
Not even a moment later she snapped her fingers and all the flames faded away as if they never existed, she lightly chortled to herself and signaled to a nearby worker – "Clean up the ash, get rid of the carpet," she had paused in contemplation when she looked down on the boys. "...Take care of those children, out of sight. The Everion and his immediate family will be arriving soon, we do not want to embarrass ourselves in front of them, now do we?" The end of her sentence seemed to share undertones toward the attending households Karma noticed a few people nervously avert their gazes.
Helia made her way to Karma with ostensibly constant steps, yet Karma felt exceedingly nervous while she sheepishly put her hands behind her back; fidgeting with her fingers she looked at her mother with an awkward smile on her face. – "So mom, those brats were being extremely cocky, they even had the gall to talk bad on you; So I gave them a good be-"
– "Are you okay Karma? I know I told you not to try and endure their words—and I know that their jeering can be painfully incredulous but I do not enjoy seeing you in fights over it," Helia uttered in her usual reposed tone yet shook in worry. Her hands were on Karma's shoulders and she started to look over her body, trying to assure herself. "You're not injured or hurt anywhere, are you? Are your clothes fine? What about your hands, did you burn them this time?" Helia's concern for Karma was apparent, she was patting down on Karma's body and got on her knees to be eye level with her.
Karma's mind was running in circles, she wanted to tell her mom to get up, that she was just fine, but seeing her concern was a thrilling sight that she rarely saw. Deciding it would be better to do what would be good for the public image. – "I am perfectly fine, see," She did a spin and a pose for her mother. "No injuries whatsoever, those weaklings couldn't land a hit on me! So please get up," Karma flashed a wide smile on her face and tried to offer her hand to her mother. She said she was perfectly fine and unharmed but it was obvious that that was a lie; she was cut and scraped all over and she had bruises here and there.
Helia only sighed at the spectacle that is her child, how could she be so hot-headed yet so poised at the same time it was quite the duality. — "Lady Bavel, do you happen to have any open rooms to spare on the upper floors?" Ignoring her child's statements Helia spoke to Nizael instead. "I need to treat my reckless daughter," with her finishing with what she wanted to say it gained a chuckle from Nizael.
– "Of course, of course. Your child has brightened my day tenfold, feel free to take any room except for the furthest on the right corridor and the room by itself." By giving her rules for them, she allowed them to go up.
Nodding to her, Helia clasped the reluctant Karma's hand and dragged her upstairs without listening to her complaints one bit. Without a second thought, she left their entire family behind in the main hall.

When Karma got up the stairs she saw how the other than the rooms and the corridors up here, there was a balcony in the form of a square that encompassed the main hall with rooms on both sides while the wall on the opposing side of the stairs had only one door, so one room. Showing that that was one of the rooms Lady Bavel was referring to earlier peaked Karma's interest, she seriously wanted to investigate but she put her thoughts on hold.
...
After Karma and Helia left everything was practically cleaned up and the carpet was replaced and the tra – children were taken out. Everyone went back to chatting about their recent endeavors or children's achievements.
– "So you see, my son was right there right, his meant to be, had lost her weapon, and she was low on energy; when the Spectral Beast went to pounce on her he brought force all his power to blow it apart."
– "He blew it apart?! I thought your son was barely fifth class?"
– "That is the thing! He broke through right there, he went to the fourth, halfway third through that encounter."
– "That is quite unbelievable, but that also reminds me of when–"
This type of incessant chatter was common among the Detrid leaders. They bragged about their children's accomplishments like they were their own; truly they had no shame. Nizael was in a corner by herself, having scared away any that approached her. She had her chin rested on her hand while observing them continuously trying to one-up each other. She could only sigh at their silly struggles to prove themselves better, she chided them to herself. – "If only they were half as interested In keeping the planet safe from the Kritol..." she let out another sigh while she took a bite out of some food as the sound of a bell ringing resounded throughout the large hall.
Everybody that was sitting forthwith stood at attention; Except for Nizael, who slowly rose from her seat. All except for the Bavels and Urnfoxs took a knee towards the array of golden lights, while the Bavels and Urnfoxs slightly bowed in its direction. Right at the forefront of the stairs was an array of golden flashes, men and women in sparkling plated armor stepped out and took place in the corners of the hall. Following them were people, men and women alike, draped in similarly sparkling clothing, they nearly lit the hall up with their clothing alone. They gazed at the kneeling Detrids with condescending gazes, as if they were looking upon a hill of ants.
However, they looked down on the kneeling people, when their gazes met the bowing Bavel and Urnfox households their stares shifted to ones of interest and respect. After a moment passed once more one more set of feet stepped out from the golden flashes that subsequently vanished; A slightly wrinkled man draped in robes that slightly dragged on the floor behind him. Floating ever so above his head was a dark orb with sectioned metallic rings orbiting around it, he held with him in his hand a golden staff that held an identical orb within its perch.
This man was the ruler of the twenty-nine collectives and the overseer of the planet.
The Everion of Ivingard!
His golden wheat hair wafted down his head to his back, his golden eyes watched the people kneeling to him as he couldn't wipe away his mirth. Within his grasp was the Staff of Lord, passed down from Everion to Everion; It was said that the first Everion received the staff from Soletti, the Lord of First Daylight, and the Container of Stars, many believed it bestowed one with the means to see all that transpires over the planet, while others say it was merely an ornamental piece. There was no confirmation of either thought so the validity was left unknown.
The orb and rings drifting above his head, the Crown of Yuletti. Is the crown of the Everion, granted to the third Everion by Yuletti, Lord of Second Daylight and Visioner of The Future. It was said she granted the crown to the third Everion because there was a future she ever so wanted to prevent. Yet once again the validity of this truth was left unspoken.
Bang! Bang! – The Everion slammed the butt of his staff into the ground twice, allowing everyone to raise their heads and bodies. – "Now, now, It seems some interesting occurrences transpired before our arrival," The Everion's eyes gleaned with a knowing look that shook the parties to blame. "Anyways, I was late to my very own party, what a shame, but there is no need for you all to be so stiff. Let us celebrate me," His aged voice snickered as he displayed his deserved arrogance. He went over to Nizael, followed by his family, and sat right next.
– "It is great to see you once more, old friend." The Everion started up a conversation with her.
