Banquet In The Stars V : Waltz with the Kritol

Banquet In The Stars V : Waltz with the Kritol

Every step Nizael took towards the downed man caused him to visibly shake while he was profusely sweating. Her steps also caused the present soldiers now to understand her fearsome image told to them by the other soldiers back home. This Kritol fleet was made of younger Kritol, who even though they were well trained, were still lacking experience.

Along with the Dreadnought holding only less experienced soldiers, the ship was also holding and commanding new Frames, such as the tank-like Frame, Cenrturi, and the agile yet dangerous Frame, Valkyr. The Centuri was different from the previous tough Frames. Its armor was still quite thick and powerful, but it was still surprisingly quick on its feet, leading to it leading the assault along with the Valkyr's.

They had new Frames but that was it. They had no other super-powerful weapons other than the ship's large canon and the Ring; The Ring being hard to take and impossible to destroy when already in another's possession.

Helia and Nizael both watched these people in confusion while ending their lives. They were questioning how and why this Dreadnought was given the Ring to use against them. These soldiers seemed trained yet they were weak and their commander is both weak and incompetent.

Nizael decided to merely put that question on pause for later she wanted to teach this pathetic excuse of a commander a lesson, especially in front of his soldiers.

Taking a knee in front of the downed man, Nizael had a cold look on her face. She wasn't the happiest when hearing this boy threaten her, so she needed to teach him a lesson worry remembering in the afterlife.

Hearing a time reminder once more in her ear Nizael wasn't worried in the slightest, she was certain, that the Dreadnought wouldn't be touched by Anti-Space canon due to the presence of the Ring; But the same couldn't be said for the ships surrounding the Dreadnought.

In Nizael's eyes, this fleet wasn't actually a fleet. A Dreadnought and about three maybe two dozens of assault ships? That wasn't a proper fleet, there were no larger ships or important ships, such as command ships, bomber ships, transmission ships, and many others. When she saw the fleet, and when she met this worthless crank that dared to call himself a commander — She finally understood what this "fleet" was.

It was a sham, It was being used to mock her and her people, they brought the Ring to show its power and how it could threaten them with just a mockery of a fleet lead by an incompetent leader. They might have already decided to sacrifice this "fleet" in the first place, but have a way to recover the Ring to their side.

She was angered to the point of no return.

Nizael grit her teeth in overwhelming anger while clenching her first with all her strength, digging her nails into her palms. Without a moment's notice, she gave the commander a right hook that sent him across the hanger.

– "You, Kritol have the nerve to step foot on my lawn! You step on my flowers, destroy my city!! Kill my people!! Then try to threaten me!!!" With each statement of what they did Nizael grew angrier and angrier, raising her tone with each step she took towards a once more downed man.

The man's face.was swollen and, blood was once more flowing out his nose and mouth, spitting out a mouthful of blood he also spat out a few more lost, bloody teeth. He held a hand to his cheek as he began to flap his white wings, attempting to take off and gain the high ground. He was not allowed that attempt.

Nizael was already in front of him when he started gaining air and snatched him out of it, tightly gripping his right-wing she slammed him into the hanger floor, just as she did that. her hand began to emit white light as the smell of something being cooked permeated the noses of all those who were present, the prelude to a horrifying experience.

Helia who blew off the shoulder of one of the last remaining Kritol, that wasn't immobilized peeked at the violence Nizael was about to commit and dodged to the side, firing three shots, that pierced one of the soldier's kneecaps and the other two piercing the soldier's hands. She observed her surroundings and looked at all the writhing bodies sprawled across the hanger floor around her.

She was certain, there were more Kritol aboard this colossal ship but they were going to destroy this Dreadnought in the first place; So she could take her time.

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

Helia was certain she wouldn't enjoy watching what Nizael had in store for the commander. After all, she had seen her torture many enemies, but her way of torturing any Kritol was almost sadistic in nature. So, instead of watching, went over to the net with the immobilized soldiers and made sure they were watching.

With the smell also entering the Commander's nose, the feeling of excruciating pain also made its way over to him coming directly from his right-wing. He screamed out in pain that echoed across the hanger, Nizael was slowly increasing the force of her grip on his wing, burning it at the same time.

Positioning herself behind him with his stomach on the floor she slammed her foot down on his back, now grabbing both of his wings, she started burning the left-wing. Pressing his chest against the floor, she listened to the sweet melody of his blood-curdling screams.

– "No, no, no! wait!–" Feeling a tug at his wings, the commander tried to throw Nizael, but he was soon hit by overwhelming pain.

Riiip! Augh! Ugh! — The screams and moans raised in volume and intensity as Nizael began to tear out his wings, slowly tearing them out.

There was no change to the cold look on her face Nizael was merciless. She found out after many battles that the wings were a severe weakness of the Kritol. On planet N-11, one of the frontiers for the last war against the Kritol; She had put that weakness on the forefront, by her lonesome she faced down two platoons of Kritol soldiers, but she didn't kill them, no, she did worse. With killer proficiency and swift movements she has maneuvered through both platoons and tore off every one of their wings, with no mercy, no hesitation; And that event in itself had ingrained its way into the minds of all Kritol soldiers and leaders.

The soldiers' wings shivered with a cold sweat as they folded them while being forced to watch their commander be tortured. Watching such harm be done to his wings was akin to watching a fellow male have their genitals attacked, it hurts just watching.

For a large majority of the Kritol people, their most sensitive body part was their wings; It was actually commonly used in many ways during sexual intercourse but it could is easily be turned in a way to cause them indescribable pain, such as what Nizael was currently doing to the Kritol Commander.

Loud voices were ringing out in Nizael's ear, and they annoyed her to no end, she paused her punishment for a moment, putting her hand to the machine piece in her ear.

"Shut up!" She yelled.

Yelling into the piece, the voices on the other end immediately went silent, listening to her. Now that they were silent Nizael was allowed to think for a moment, she watched Helia blow the head off of a soldier that tried to lunge at her from the net; Remembering that the Ring was around the ship she was assured of their safety, signaling for Helia to come over she spoke on the piece.

"There are no issues on my end, fire the Anti–Space Cannon right away." She instructed.

Seeing Helia had come over she once more observed the hanger, looking at the ships sprinkled around it she came to an idea, they were now hers, she was going to take them, and the Dreadnought.

"Lieutenant General Urnfox, lock down the hanger. I want no more hostiles bursting into here, Once I finish this we will take over the rest of the Dreadnought." She relayed her plans to Helia.

– "Understood." Responding nonchalantly, Helia made her way over to one of the few entrances into the hanger.

Helia looked around as she thought of something rather important, she looked up at the overpass and launched herself up with her flames. She saw how there were more Kritol in the Hanger Command Room.

A palm-sized fireball formed in her hand at a moment's notice, it showed that her energy reserves were quite exhausted. She looked at it for a moment as thoughts ran through her head and muttered under her breath – "Cra." – Once she said this her flames grew to about two times the size of her head.

Fwoosh — With a flick of her wrist the fireball zoomed through the air heading to the room at high speeds, growing bigger and bigger as it went. – Fwoomp Bang! Booom! – Melting through the glass with relative ease the fireball crashed into something and a sequence of explosions rang out before the Command Room and most of the nearby overpass was sent to high heaven.

With fires starting to sprinkle down from the now destroyed Control room, like reddish-gold rain, Helia now on the bottom hanger floor walked through it. She went to the nearest door and welded it shut with her flames, doing the same with the other entrances she felt the Dreadnought shake with ferocity.

Clicking the piece in her ear a virtual screen displaying video from their satellites displayed what was happening outside the Dreadnought and it showed quite a pleasant sight. In space outside the Dreadnought, a large and destructive blue stream of Flauna was streaming out of the planet's exosphere, through the previously formed shield and straight on a path through the "fleet".

The Kritol ships turned tail and tried to fly away, but as if wanting to devour the "fleet" in its entirety the stream expanded and moved forward at a terrifying pace, shrouding the ships, as explosions and thrusters rang out through the screen, something that would be a traumatic experience for those pilots.

It finally made its way to the Dreadnought and attempted to try and swallow it up, but it couldn't. The Ring pushed the stream of Flauna back and it consequently dissipated.

There was a pleased smile taking hold of Helia's face when seeing the destruction of the "fleet". She watched Nizael return her attention to the commander, and the thought that they were finally going to be finishing things up, caused her to heave a sigh of relief.
