*Pantidrop Capital Palace*
We arrived back in the main room of the palace almost instantly. There was a loud crashing noise when we arrived and when I looked down in front of me I saw a maid lying on the ground with some kind of liquid covering her. There was a serving tray and a bunch of glasses strewn around her as well. I instantly knew that we must have appeared right in front of her when we came back. This surprised her and caused her to fall backwards, spilling everything she was carrying.
I smiled down at the maid and reached my hand out, “Sorry for surprising you like that.” She smiled and took my hand, allowing me to help her up. She straightened her skirt up before speaking, “It’s no problem at all your majesty.” She bowed when she said this and I waved for her to stand again.
I smiled at her again, “Go ahead and clean yourself up, I will have someone else get these drinks. I take it you were going to take them to your king and my girls?” The maid nodded, “Yes sire.” I nodded, “I will get someone else to take care of it for you. Go ahead and take the rest of the day off and do some shopping.” I took out a few gold coins from my [Storage] that Violet gave me for spending money and tossed it to her. If I had to make any big purchases then Violet would take care of it for me. The maid caught them and then bowed again, “Thank you your majesty.”
I smiled at her and then walked towards the room that we left the others in earlier. I pushed the door open and then walked into the room. There was a thump sound and I felt something hit my chest. I looked down and saw Dani with her arms wrapped around me. She was looking up at me with a big grin, “You’re back! I missed you dear.” I laughed and rubbed her hair, “I was only gone for a few hours at most.” She pouted a little, “It felt like years though.”
I laughed and shook my head; I don’t know why Dani has been so clingy ever since we had sex, but it’s not like I hated it. I would just act like it was normal, which it kind of was now, and then go about business like normal. I looked up and saw that the girls were sitting on the couch except for Violet who was standing off to the side. I frowned at Violet, “Don’t you ever sit down and relax?” She smiled at me, “Not really sir. I have been in the military for almost four hundred years and served as a guard for half of that time so I got used to standing in one spot.”
I shook my head, “Well you’re not a guard anymore; you are my personal assistant and I am telling you to sit down and relax.” She hesitated and still stood where she was. I smiled, “Do I need to make it an order soldier?” She stiffened up and saluted, “No sir!” After that she finally sat down and crossed her legs in some comfort. She still looked stiff as hell, but it was a start.
I shook my head and sat down with the girls. The couch was only big enough for four people so Dani had to sit in my lap, not that she minded though. She wrapped her arms around my neck and leaned her head on my shoulder. King Sextum didn’t say a single thing about the entire scene. He looked at me and asked a question, “Is it done?” I nodded my head, “Yes, the necromancer has been executed.” I have honestly been wondering why I haven’t felt anything about taking the life some someone.
Being a normal human from Earth I should feel something negative or at least anything really, but I don’t. It’s kind of just like killing a fly to me. I don’t feel a fucking thing and it honestly worries me. I sighed and put the thought towards the back of my mind and looked back at Sextum. He had a massive grin on his face before he spoke, “So the undead legion is gone and I can begin reusing the prison?” I let out a small laugh, “That’s if it didn’t burn down.”
He widened his eyes, “What do you mean if it didn’t burn down?” I scratched the back of my head, “I kind of used some powerful fire magic to incinerate the necromancers lab and I didn’t pay attention to see if the fire stopped spreading or not.” He raised an eyebrow, “Where was the lab located?” I told him, “The cafeteria.” He let out a breath, “Everything should be okay then. The cafeteria walls are made of concrete, so after everything inside burns it shouldn’t burn anymore.”
I nodded my head, “That is true, but you may need to fix some of the walls after the fire dies out.” He raised an eyebrow, “Why is that?” I smiled, “Have you ever seen what really high heat does to concrete?” He shook his head so I continued, “It causes it to chip, crack, shatter, among other things, but it has a high probability of staying standing.” He nodded his head in understanding, “That is good, it cost a pretty good chunk of money to build that prison and I don’t think we could afford to build another one so soon.”
An idea hit me about making a massive prison on some abandoned planet and creating portals to it from other planets and using it as one massive empire wide prison for the extremely dangerous, but I would have to perfect the portal spell in order to allow people that aren’t Immortal Ranked to travel through them. I nodded my head, “I understand what you’re saying. If the prison does become unusable then just get in contact with me and I will order some people to build you another prison.”
He stood up and bowed towards me, “Thank you your majesty!” I smiled and told him to stand up. He stood back up and then sat down on his chair again. I spoke to him again, “We want to explore your planet a bit and check out some stuff so we will be bothering you for a bit.” He shook his head, “No bother at all your majesty. Would you like me to get someone to show you around?” I shook my head, “Not right now, but you could tell us about some interesting things to check out on your planet.”
He thought about it for a minute before he spoke, “There is a underwater city about five miles of the south coast of the continent that you could explore. We haven’t been able to check it out since we discovered it a few years ago due to our lack in an Immortal Ranked person.” I nodded, “How deep is it?” He answered quickly, “It is around three miles deep.” I thought about it for a minute before making a decision, “That settles it. We are going to check out this underwater city.”
Sextum nodded his head, “I will give you a map showing its location, but I would be careful your majesty. We have sent many SSS ranked adventurers to explore the city, but none of them ever came back.” I raised an eyebrow and then looked at the girls. I thought about it for a minute and then made up my mind, “Xenova.” She stiffened up, “Yes master?” I smiled, “I want you to stay here and help Camellia and Violet train in magic.” I then looked at Sylvia, “I want you to help train Drexella and Dani in magic.”
They both looked at each other before Sylvia spoke up, “Who is going to go with you though?” I laughed and rubbed her head, “I am going to go by myself this time.” Xenova spoke up, “I don’t think that is a good idea master.” I smiled, “I will be fine Xenova. If I run into a problem I can always teleport back here.” She thought about it for a minute before she nodded her head, “I will do as you say.”
Dani squeezed her arms around my neck tighter, “Why do you have to go alone?” I smiled, “I just feel like taking a walk and sorting out some ideas that I have in quiet.” She frowned, but she nodded her head. Camellia spoke up, “You have to teleport straight here if you run into any big trouble though.” I smile and leaned over Violet to give her a kiss, “I promise.” Violet seemed a little awkward as I leaned over her so I rubbed her head before I leaned back in my original position.
She tried to swat my hand away and glared at me, which caused me to laugh. Sextum spoke up at this time, “The map is here your majesty.” I looked back at him and then grabbed the map he was holding out.” I looked it over quickly and memorized everything on it. Ever since my intelligence hit a thousand I have been able to memorize everything on my own even without Kira helping me do it.
I gave the girls a kiss and rubbed Xenova and Violet’s head before I left the palace. I walked outside and then flew up into the air. I looked towards the south and then flew towards the coast. A few minutes later and I was landing on a sandy shore. I stared out to sea and admired the view of the glistening water. I spoke to Kira, “Hey Kira.” She instantly answered back, “Yes dad?” I smiled while speaking again, “Go ahead and play some music for me.” She spoke again, “What kind of music.” I thought about it for a minute before answering, “How about some rock.”
She quickly answered, “Okay, you going to do something exciting?” I laughed, “Sort of, but I don’t really know if it will work or not.” She laughed, “You can do anything pops.” I laughed out loud, “If only that was true.” She quickly responded, “It is though.” I shook my head while smiling, “Thanks Kira.” She didn’t respond that time, but I all of a sudden heard the song “Drown” by Theory of a Deadman start playing in my head.
I instantly retorted, “Really?” There was no answer, but I did hear a small giggle. I shook my head and looked towards the water. I activated my [Mana Perception] and looked at the ocean in front of me. According to the map that Sextum gave me, the city should be five miles out straight in front of me. I channeled my mana and connected it to the mana rivers in the ocean. I was happy that the mana rivers that made up the ocean were massive. There was one river for every quarter mile of ocean. This made it to where I didn’t have to use too much of my internal mana pool to connect to all of the mana rivers.

After I felt that my mana was connected to all of the mana rivers for five miles out and three miles deep I activated my [Mana Manipulation] on the rivers. I moved both of my hands in front of me and saw the mana flowing out of my hands. I used my hands to clench the mana flowing from my hands and held on to it like a rope. I then moved both of my arms in opposite directions.
This idea was something that a lot of people would have thought of, but most people wouldn’t even know how to attempt to do it. I luckily had [Mana Perception] and [Mana Manipulation]. I felt a shit ton of resistance as I tried to move my arms. I put more strength into my arms and they slowly started to spread apart. They were moving an inch every minute or two and as my arms moved so did the mana rivers connected to my mana.
I could see the rivers moving away from each other and if someone was looking at the ocean in front of me through normal eyes they would see the water actually start to sink down and split. The more I moved my arms the more the resistance grew. I was about half way finished and my muscles were bulging and you could see every vein on my arms.
I yelled and then made a final effort to spread my arms and I finally managed to get them straight out to my sides. I deactivated my perception and mana manipulation and then fell to my knees. I had a small headache that was almost unnoticeable, but in my exhausted state I could feel it. I looked at the ground for a minute trying to catch my breath before I looked up.
I was instantly stunned at the sight in front of me even though it was the result that I was going for. In front of me there was a dry channel that stretched five miles out from the surface of the ocean to the ocean floor. I could actually see the buildings of the city in the distance. While I was marveling at the fact that I actually split a part of the ocean there was a notification that popped up.
Congratulations! You have learned [Channel of Moses]!
Channel of Moses: Allows the user to split any liquid and create a channel. Limitation: Channel can only stretch as far as the user’s vision. User’s mana from their mana pool is held and used to maintain the channel. Spell can be used once a day. User can cancel the spell at any time.
I was shocked when I saw that there was actually already a spell for what I just did, but when I saw the name of the spell it made complete sense. So Moses used magic to split the Red Sea in the past then. It made sense because I don’t think the Primordial God of Creation mentioned anything about actually interfering with Earth at any time.
I looked at my status and saw that my mana was actually at five thousand and some change and it wouldn’t go up. I widened my eyes at the number. I have just a little over ten thousand mana and it took almost half of that to maintain the channel. Moses must have been a very high level magic user in order to use the spell.
I sat down for a bit and caught my breath. I was a little surprised at how much stamina it took out of me to actually perform that spell, but at least next time I need a channel I can just activate the spell and the appropriate amount of mana will be siphoned. I shook my head at the absurdity of the spell in general and thought about how over powered I really was. Of course, just because I was over powered as hell sometimes I can’t let that get to my head. There is always going to be someone that is bigger and better than me.
I stood up after a few minutes and started to move towards the channel when I noticed someone was watching me. I looked around, “Whose there?” All of a sudden Xylnick appeared in front of me and bowed, “It is me your majesty.” I honestly forgot that Xylnick came down to the planet with us and it was a little embarrassing. I looked down at him, “Why were you following me?”
He answered immediately, “Her majesty Empress Dani told me to follow you sire.” I sighed and shook my head, “I will have to deal with her later, but she really does care for me huh?” He stood up and smiled, “She does your majesty.” I shook my head, “Did you see that display earlier.” He nodded his head, “I did sire and it was very impressive.”
I raised an eyebrow, “You don’t seem to shocked about it.” He shrugged his shoulders, “There is a General for the second army that can do almost the exact same thing, but he can’t hold it for very long like you can.” I raised an eyebrow, “And what rank is he?” Xylnick laughed, “He is Demi-God Magic Rank sire.”
I shook my head, “I thought that the generals of the armies were SSS Rank?” He shook his head, “That is just the minimum requirement to be a General or Admiral.” I sighed, “I think that there might be a bit of plot armor in this entire adventure, there usually always is though so whatever.” He raised an eyebrow, “Plot Armor?” I waved it off, “Just forget it. You wouldn’t understand even if I explained it.”
I could see that he wanted me to explain, but I felt too lazy to explain it right now. I shook my head and walked over towards the channel in the ocean and then walked a mile. I was looking around in awe as I saw all the marine life in the water around me. I was surprised that none of the marine life could swim out of the water and into the channel with me, but I thought that it may have something to do with the way the spell worked.
It was honestly something that I didn’t need to worry about so I didn’t. They couldn’t enter the channel which was fine with me, so whatever. I walked closer to the water wall that was almost a mile high and tried to stick my hand into the water. My hand went right through the water wall and I could feel the water around it. Some piranha looking fish tried to take a bite out of my hand so I pulled it back out of the water.
Xylnick was staring at the water wall in awe like I was. He stuck his hand in the water and grabbed one of the fish swimming by, but when he tried to pull the fish out he couldn’t bring it out. He used a massive amount of his Demi-God strength and pulled, but when I saw that the spell was about to collapse I made him stop.
He instantly stopped pulling and the spell stabilized after it sucked some more of my mana pool. I lost another thousand mana and was left with around four thousand. The headache got a smidgen worse, but it was still bearable. He looked at me in confusion, “Why did I have to stop.” I smiled, “You were about to break the spell holding the water up and brings millions of gallons of water down on our heads. Not to mention all of the carnivorous marine life that has been following us for the last half mile of this trek.”
Xlynick widened his eyes a bit and then nodded his head, “We could survive the water falling down, but there are some underwater creatures that even I have to be wary about.” I nodded, “Yeah, oceans are the most unexplored places on almost any planet, based on what I know.” Xylnick agreed, “For the most part yes; oceans are usually the most unexplored areas of a planet even on those planets made of nothing, but water.”
I shivered a little at the thought of a planet full of nothing but water. I have an issue with the ocean, because normally you can’t see what’s in it. It brings out this hidden fear inside of me that makes me extremely nervous even with my Immortal Power Rank. I looked to the right as I was walking and saw a fish the size of an aircraft carrier staring me down as I walked.
Xylnick spoke up while we were walking, “Why are we walking by the way?” I looked back at him, “I want to enjoy the scenery so I figured I would walk from the shore.” He raised an eyebrow, “I will do whatever you say your majesty, but it’s nothing but water for miles. Literally.” I laughed, “I know, but something about walking through a channel in the ocean that I made makes me feel powerful.”
Xylnick shook his head, “You’re an Immortal Power Rank and it doesn’t make you feel powerful?” I shrugged my shoulders, “It does, but I mean come on… I split the fucking ocean! Well, sort of.” I laughed after I got done speaking and I could see Xylnick shaking his head, but he had a smile on his face.
About an hour and a half later of leisurely walking we were standing in front of the under-water city. They call it a city, but I see it as more of a town in my honest opinion. It looks like one of those country towns you pass through that has a post office, gas station, bank, and maybe a Walmart. It probably held a few thousand people at most.
I really wasn’t shocked that the entire city, or village I should say, was completely run down. It literally looked like it has been underwater for centuries, which it has. We were walking closer to the town and I was greeted with an incredible shock. I saw that the water around the city was actually being pushed away. I was able to look around the corner of where my channel hit the city and I could see water being held back by something invisible.
I was confused as hell, but I had an idea in my head. I looked around for something and found a baseball sized rock. I tossed it towards the city and it literally disappeared. Xylnick spoke up beside me, “Camouflage?” I shook my head, “I don’t think that is all it is.” I picked up another rock of the same size and then threw it as hard as I could at towards the city. The rock actually hit something and bounced back at me with even more force behind it than what I used.
I blinked to the side and had to slow down my heart rate. The damn rock actually broke the sound barrier and almost hit me. I literally had no choice but to use blink to dodge. I don’t know what kind of damage a rock at that speed could do to me, even with my Immortal Ranked body. Xylnick was looking back towards the direction that the rock flew and we both saw it hit a underwater mountain that was half a mile high.
The mountain exploded and there was literally nothing left after the dust settled. Xylnick looked at me, “That would have broken a bone or two if it hit me.” I raised an eyebrow, “What would it have done to me?” He shrugged his shoulders, “You might have died depending on where it hit you. Head shot and you would be dead. If I got hit in the head then I would have probably been knocked out for a couple days.”
I widened my eyes, “Is there really that much of a difference between Demi-Gods and Immortals?” He grinned, “Immortals and fresh Demi-Gods are about the same, but I am almost Late-Stage Demi-God so my body is about one point five times stronger than a fresh Demi-God and two point five times stronger than an Immortal.” I didn’t know there was such a difference in strength between an Immortal and a Demi-God.
“And fresh Gods are about five times stronger than Immortals.” There was a voice that came from the direction of the city. We both turned to look and we saw some ripples in the air. A few seconds later there was a man walking out of nowhere. I say walking, but it should be more of a slither to be honest. Almost instantly after that were almost four more snake men, two on each side of the first. These four had glowing spears and were pointing them at us. I smiled and put my hands up in the air, I saw that Xylnick was doing the same thing as me. It seems like we ran into a city full of Lamia’s.
