*Violet’s POV*
I watched at his majesty grabbed Xenova’s hand and then disappeared in thin air. I figured he must have used his teleportation spell that caused him to pass out in the throne room back on Chiron. I sighed and then shuddered a little bit at the aura he released before he left. There was a hand on my shoulder and I looked over at Empress Dani. She smiled at me, “Don’t worry about him right now.”
I furrowed my brows, “Why? He is going against an Immortal Necromancer. The Necromancer by himself isn’t that much of a threat, but when you add on his legion of undead then things can turn bad quickly.” Empress Dani laughed a little before her face turned solemn, “I am more worried about Xenova. If Vitamor was to lose control like he did when he fought her, then she won’t be able to stop him.”
Sylvia straightened herself a little on the couch and spoke up at this time, “I think that is why he brought her.” We all looked over at her with confusion on our faces. She looked down at the ground and sighed, “If and I say if he loses control, she will be the only one that could save this planet. She may not stop him, but she can at least save this planet and those on it.”
We were all still confused as hell and it was probably written on our faces, because she spoke again, “Think about it. What is Xenova’s element?” It instantly hit us. I gasped and then spoke to Sylvia, “You don’t mean?” She nodded her head, “Exactly.” We all looked at each other and we couldn’t feel any more helpless.
*Vitamor’s POV*
We appeared floating in the sky above the prison island that I saw on the way to the capital. I looked down towards the prison and I could feel the evilness radiating from the place. It was almost suffocating. I could hear screams of men and woman even miles in the sky. An aura of rage started to radiate from my body and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and saw the face of the demon I brought with me.
I smiled, “I am okay.” People don’t only radiate auras of their specific element only. If an emotion is strong enough then an aura can radiate from even a normal being. Emotional auras aren’t naturally visible like an elemental aura though. They are invisible and are mostly harmless. The auras can affect a person’s emotional state though. If someone was radiating an aura of anger then they could make another person feel afraid if their mental capacity wasn’t bigger than the persons causing the aura. Sadness can also cause the temperature to drop in the area around a person. Emotional auras can do many mysterious things.
Xenova smiled back, “Are you sure.” I nodded, “Yes, but there is a reason that I brought you and only you.” She had a serious expression instantly, “What is it master?” I smiled, “If I lose control like I did when you said we fought, I want you to open a portal in front of my path.” She raised her eyebrows in shock, “Where to?” I smiled again, “I want you to drop me next to the core of the farthest star you can manage or a black hole.” Before she could answer I blinked down into the courtyard of the prison.
I hate that fact that I lose control of my body and I can’t even remember what happens. Whatever this thing is inside of me it is dangerous. One day I may be able to control it, but until then I need to have some kind of safety measure. I don’t know why Xenova didn’t do what I am asking her to do when we fought, hell I don’t even know if it is possible, but it is the only thing I could think of. If I can survive a black hole or being in the center of a star, then only God Kings would be able to stop me. I hope you’re watching Origin or Chronos.
I looked around at the courtyard and saw scores of people. I was shocked at the people shuffling around the courtyard. They were walking around like I would expect a zombie to walk around, but their bodies were almost perfectly intact. Besides the fact that their skin was white and their eyes were vacant they almost looked alive.
The image from what I was told by the king got a little cleaner in my mind. Non-rotting bodies raping someone is less throw up worthy, but the act is not any less heinous. I sighed and noticed that all of the bodies turned toward me. They all instantly ran towards me. I cursed, “Shit!” I wasn’t expecting them to be able to run like a normal person.
I noticed that they were actually running faster than a normal human from Earth. This caused me to curse again and I punched the closest zombie in the chest. It flew back and had a massive hole in its chest, but after crashing into a wall it stood back up and rushed back towards me. I felt like face palming at the stupid mistake I made, but I didn’t have time as the next zombie closed in on me.
I punched at the zombies head and it exploded into mist of blood and brain matter. The zombie slumped to the floor and didn’t move. I smiled and then repeated my actions over and over again. The horde of zombies just kept coming and it felt like there was no end to it. I checked the clock in my field of view and I saw that two hours had gone by and the horde wasn’t stopping. I was killing roughly thirty zombies a minute which meant that I had killed around seven thousand zombies, but it looked like I hadn’t made a scratch in their numbers.
“Fuck.” I cursed and flew into the sky above the horde. There were zombies piling out of the prison doors and flooding the courtyard. There was a beautiful voice beside me, “May I recommend magic master.” I looked over and saw Xenova floating beside me with a smile on her face. I actually did face palm this time, “Why didn’t I think of that. I actually forgot that I knew magic other than teleportation spells.”
I shook my head and then smacked Xenova on the ass before blinking back down to the ground. I landed in a small area that didn’t have very many zombies at it. The horde turned towards me and rushed. I smiled and then cast a [Fire Wall] a wall of violet colored fire appeared in a circle around me and the zombies that rushed into it were burnt to a crisp. I didn’t know how hot the flames were, but they must be very hot. Some of the zombie’s bodies were actually turned into ash from the flames.
I thought of something so I used another spell that I knew. With a loud whoosh sound a wall of wind was cast in front of me and it actually pushed the flames out farther from me in the front. There was a notification that popped up uncontrollably in the corner of my vision.
Congratulations! You have learned the spell [Flamethrower]!
Flamethrower: User can cast a jet of flames from their hand.
I was shocked at the notification, because the scene that I saw from using the two spells didn’t actually look like your typical flamethrower. I always thought that a flamethrower used a type of liquid and not gas, but maybe my thinking was wrong. I didn’t get a notification about reaching the Immortal Magic Rank so I guess that I didn’t actually combine the spells either.
I quickly pointed my palm out and used the new spell. A torrent of violet colored flame spewed out from my hand and incinerated the zombies in front of me. I quickly put my other hand out and used the spell again and another torrent of flame spewed forth. I was actually making a dent in the zombie horde after a few minutes, but I noticed that the flame from my left hand didn’t incinerate anything after a few minutes.
I noticed that there was a skeleton dressed in armor holding a giant metal tower shield. The skeleton’s eyes were glowing green and my flames actually weren’t going through his shield very fast. I could see the shield glowing red and starting to melt a little around the edges, but it was taking way to long. I canceled the spell and charged at the skeleton giving it a punch to the head. It’s head disintegrated into dust, but the skeleton didn’t fall down.
I heard Xenova in my head, “Master, that is a lower level necromancer summon. It is simply called a skeleton knight. As long as the connection to their master isn’t severed or their body isn’t completely destroyed they can continue to fight.” I gritted my teeth and then circulated my Ki. I could feel the destructive Ki coursing through my body and make its way to my fist.
The air around my fist started to turn black in color and space ripped a little. The rips in space were almost instantly repaired and they wouldn’t be noticeable unless you were really looking. I threw a punch at the skeletons chest and it burst into a pile of dust. There was a scream from somewhere in the prison.
It was a different scream than the ones constantly being echoed throughout the prison by the men and woman captives. This was a scream of anger. There was a roar followed by an explosion. I looked towards the center of the main building in the prison and I saw the roof had blown off and there was what looked like a rotting European dragon flying above the prison. There was a man on the back of the dragon that was holding his head and glaring at me.
Xenova spoke to me again, “You must have forcibly destroyed his link to the skeleton knight at the same time that you destroyed it. Normally when a summoned creature is destroyed they will feel a loss of connection, but if the connection is forcibly cut they will receive a backlash to their mind.” I nodded my head, not knowing whether she could see me or not, and floated up into the sky to confront the necromancer.
I could feel that the rotting dragon was at a Magic Rank of SSS and it was being held together by the necromancer’s power. I smirked and spoke to the necromancer, “Why are you doing this?” He glared at me and spoke, “Because I have to power to do it.” He was still holding his head while he spoke. I laughed and shook my head, “You really think that your amount of power will allow you to do anything you want? You really think there aren’t any more powerful beings out there?”
The necromancer laughed, “Of course there are beings that are more powerful than me, but other than the rare Demi-Gods no one would bother with an Immortal Magic Rank like me.” I raised an eyebrow, “What do you mean?” He sneered, “Immortal Ranked beings are the pinnacle of the normal world in the universe.” I didn’t know what he meant by normal world, but he continued speaking before I could ask.
He glared at me, “In the normal world of empires and kingdoms, God Ranked and above beings don’t interfere. As long as I don’t do something that will disrupt the balance in the entire galaxy they won’t step in.” I looked up at Xenova and saw that she was looking away while lowly whistling. I thought, “I will deal with you later.” She cringed and then hung her head.

I looked back at the necromancer and saw that he was staring at Xenova in fear and shock. I raised an eyebrow, “You look like you have seen a ghost, necromancer.” He finally spoke after a few seconds, “A God Magic Ranked Demon? Why is she here?” I laughed at him which made him looked at me like I was crazy. He spoke to me, “Why are you laughing in the presence of a God you idiot!?”
I sneered and waved at Xenova. She floated down towards me and I could see the necromancer cower backwards. The rotting dragon didn’t show any fear though, which is understandable for the undead. They show no fear except for if the Skeleton King himself came. Xenova floated next to me, “You beckoned master?” Those words were like a bomb dropped. The zombie horde and many skeleton knights on the ground collapsed and were absorbed into the ground and even the dragon the necromancer was riding on fell to the ground and was absorbed.
The necromancer was still floating in the air in front of us, but this time he was looking at me in utter fear. I laughed on the inside and the entire situation. I guess I don’t really need to fight against beings of his caliber as long as I have Xenova beside me, but where is the fun in that. If I don’t fight I won’t get stronger and if I don’t get stronger my loved ones may die. I looked at the necromancer and spoke, “We are going to fight. You deserve to die for your crimes so it will be a fight to the death. If you win then you will be free to do as you please and my slave will not hinder you. She will take my companions and leave the planet.”
He looked at Xenova and then back at me, “How can you be sure she won’t attack me once you are dead. I don’t believe that she is really your slave, she is a God and you are just an Immortal like me.” I smiled and looked at Xenova, “Xenova, in the case of my death in this battle I order you’re to take the girls and leave this planet. You are also to never make any moves against the necromancer as long as he is on this planet.” The emblem on her head glowed and she kneeled on one knee in the air, “Yes master.”
I looked back at the necromancer, “That enough proof for you?” He was staring at the emblem wide eyed, but he nodded his head. I told Xenova to fly higher into the sky and to not allow any intruders. She did as I told and I was left standing in front of the necromancer. I spoke to him, “Bring out your best summons.” He furrowed his brows, but he nodded his head. He knew that if he didn’t use his necromantic magic or summons he was no match for an Immortal Power Rank like me.
He quickly spoke a chant and I heard two more roars. I looked down and saw two skeleton dragons climb out of the ground. I don’t know how they roared without their lungs or any other organs, but it’s magic so fuck logic I guess. The dragons flew up and hovered in front of the necromancer. I was standing there with my arms crossed waiting for him to finish. He looked at me, “I am ready if you are.”
I nodded my head and used [Blink] I appeared to the side of one dragon and released a Ki infused punch into the side of its head. Before my punch could actually connect I was blasted by the dragon’s tail. I flew like a broken kite into the ground and caused a crater to form. The entire prison island shook and almost sunk from the impact. I could actually taste a little blood in the back of my mouth.
I spit the blood out and then blasted back into the sky. I was shocked at the might of the two dragons and I could tell that they were close to Immortal Rank in power. I saw that the necromancer had his eyes closed and he wasn’t moving a muscle. I decided that he must be dedicating all of his magic and concentration into controlling the two dragons. Other wised they couldn’t be this strong.
I smiled at the thought of a tough fight and remembered the fights I got into after middle school. The summer right before freshmen year was full of fights and I lost count at how many I was in. I remember that I stopped having to fight people when I took on a group of six wannabe thugs at the bowling alley one night. More than half of them left with broken bones. I was bruised all over, but I walked out of the building without showing any pain.
I was quickly arrested by the cops that showed up, but when they saw that it was self-defense they let me go. It took hours though because they wanted to see if I went too far in my self-defense, but I never once went after somebody that was on the ground. I only fought the people that came at me. They finally said that I used enough force to stop them from attacking me and then left, so they released me.
I got a scolding from my parents after, but my dad was proud of me for sticking up for myself. They mainly yelled at me because they were worried. I smiled at the small flashback before I realized that there was another dragon tail in front of my face. The tail smashed into my face and I was sent flying into the prison again. This time the prison sunk enough that water started to flow above the walls.
The prison started to sink and I could see some people running out of the buildings. They must have escaped whenever the necromancer’s zombies disappeared. I sent a thought towards Xenova through the emblem, “Move these people away from the prison.” She sent a thought back, “I can’t make a portal for anyone under Immortal Rank remember?”
I cursed in my head and quickly tried to think of something. I spit the blood out of my mouth and then I remembered something. I stood up and used my [Mana Perception] I looked at the rivers of mana surrounding the prison and cast [Rewind]. I raised my arms up to a ninety degree angle from my body and controlled the mana rivers. They quickly started to move backwards and the water stopped pouring into the prison. The water in the prison started to flow out and the prison itself rose to the top of the water.
Once the prison was at its original placement I released the spell. I put my arms down and saw the cool down timer in the corner of my vision. I won’t be able to use that for another hour at minimum. I floated up into the sky and saw the look of terror on the necromancers face. I smiled, “Why so pale necromancer? Don’t tell me you joined the ranks of your undead troops so soon?”
He snapped out of his trance and then stuttered, “Y…y…you’re a time mage as well!?” I raised an eyebrow, “I can’t use a little time magic.” He shook his head, “You used fire and wind magic earlier though. I was already shocked that you were a rare double element, but now I find that you are an even rarer triple element and it’s one of the top two rarest at that.” I raised an eyebrow again, “I thought everybody could use any element, but depending on their compatibility it wouldn’t be as strong.”
The necromancer shook his head, “They can use the element, but if a fire element were to use a wind spell such as [Wind Cutter] then the spell would probably give someone a paper cut at most. The difference in power between a compatible element and another element is like heaven and earth. The fire spell and wind spell you used earlier was powerful which meant you are compatible with those two elements. As for the time element, if someone was not compatible with it then they would only be able to slow time for like a second at most.”
I nodded my head, “Thanks for the information, but aren’t we supposed to be fighting?” The necromancer sighed and then canceled out his dragons. They disappeared into a cloud of bone dust and floated along the wind. I furrowed my brows, “What are you doing?” The necromancer clicked his tongue, “Even though you are only a Rank SSS in magic, you are a Triple Element and one of those is Time. Even a Rank S Time Mage would be able to easily handle me, but they are extremely rare.”
He hung his head, “I know my limit and I know when I have been beat.” I sighed and looked at him for a second. I spoke to him, “Kneel in front of me on both knees.” He floated in front of me and kneeled in the air. I floated around behind him and pulled out a sword from my [Storage]. I held it to the side of his neck, “Necromancer… Actually I don’t even know your name.”
The necromancer sighed, “It doesn’t matter now, but I have been called Dragok because of my control over skeleton dragons.” I nodded my head, “Necromancer Dragok! Due to the heinous crimes you have committed, I exercise my authority as Emperor of the United Draconian Empire and issue your judgment. You are hereby sentenced to death by beheading, any last words?”
He shook his head, “Not really your majesty, but I do have a request.” I raised an eyebrow, “And what is that?” He turned to looked at me and spoke, “There is something in my laboratory in the prison that my ex-wife left me a long time ago. I would like for you to take it and use it as you see fit.” I thought for a minute before I answered, “I can’t promise anything, but I will consider it.”
He looked a little disappointed, but he nodded his head and then closed his eyes. I pulled the sword back and then swung it in a horizontal swing. There was a slight resistance, but it wasn’t enough to even slow the momentum of the swing. I swung the blood off and then stored the sword again. I could see the blood slowly leaking out from the cut, but the cut was so clean that the head wasn’t falling off.
I used [Flame] and then touched the violet colored flame to the necromancer’s body. It quickly caught on fire and started to burn. I released the hold that I had with my magic on Dragok’s body and it started to fall towards the prison. The body and the head finally separated and the head was ash before it hit the ground. I watched his body burn for a few more seconds before it too turned into ash.
I sighed and then floated down towards the prison with Xenova right behind me. I landed in the courtyard of the prison and saw all of the people staring at me. I told Xenova to start moving them towards the shore while I go to Dragok’s laboratory. She nodded her head and stared at me for a second before she did as I told her to.
I walked into the building and headed towards the biggest room, which should be the cafeteria. I finally found it after a few minutes of searching and saw all of Dragok’s research specimens and materials. I looked around and saw something sitting on a pedestal in the middle of the room. It was a giant egg and it seemed to be pulsing with magic. I walked up towards the egg and looked at it from every angle. I looked around and couldn’t find anything very useful or interesting so I figured that the egg must be what he was talking about.
I walked back towards the egg and used [Mana Perception]. I was instantly blinded by the sheer intensity of the mana radiating from the egg. I quickly turned my perception off and then looked at the egg in wonder. I walked over and then slowly reached my hand towards the egg. When my palm touched the shell I could feel the mana pulsing through the egg. It felt like blood coursing through a blood vessel and had a rhythm like a heartbeat.
I tried controlling my mana and injecting it into the egg. The egg greedily started to devour my mana at an alarming rate. Almost fifteen minutes later I could feel a massive headache coming on and my vision was starting to go blurry. Right when I thought I was going to pass out the egg stopped absorbing my mana. I was finally able to pull my hand back and when I did I saw my emblem etched into the shell of the egg.
I didn’t know what was going on, but I saw a notification.
Congratulations on taming your first creature!
You have imprinted on a ????? egg and it will be your loyal pet when it hatches.
You have been given the spell [Creature Pen] to store your pet.
Creature Pen: Allows the user to store their pets in another dimension. This dimension is peaceful and all stored creatures will be safe and will heal almost any wounds or cure almost any affliction.
I was a little confused at why it showed a ????? instead of what kind of creature it is. I looked at the egg a little more and couldn’t see any other differences so I stored it in the [Creature Pen]. I then threw out a few [Flames] and burnt everything in the laboratory to ashes. I walked out of the building and saw Xenova waiting for me. She smiled, “The civilians have been moved to safety master.” I nodded my head and then grabbed her hand before using [Image Teleportation].
