*Space Fortress ArchAngel – Head Worker’s POV*
“Argh! Why does this fucking space station have to be so damn temperamental?” I was cursing at the door to the captain’s room which wouldn’t open no matter how many times I tried. Every time I told the ArchAngel to open the door she would straight up tell me no. She said something along the lines of “Only the captain and those he wishes are allowed in the captain’s room.” It was frustrating as hell.
I needed to get into the captain’s room so that I can possibly find something to help me take control of this space station. It would be of better use in the hands of a draconian instead of a mere human. Humans may be recognized by the church and the followers of the church, but I can’t recognize such a weakly born race. Sure some humans can grow stronger, but those are far fewer in number compared to the amount of weaker humans.
I sneered, “Even the human that is the captain of this space station is a weakling. With my A Power Rank I could probably blow on him and he would die.” I started laughing and walked away from the captain’s room. The work on the ArchAngel was proceeding at a decent pace. We have already made the hole, that was crudely patched, look like it never happened. I walked to the bridge of the space station.
I entered the room and paused in small wonder for a second. It still amazed me at how a space stations bridge looked just like one of our capital ships. What also amazed me was the amount of ordinance that this space station had. Why would a space station need so much fire power? I mean the High Capacity Rail gun could take out a fucking moon, it could possibly take out a small planet if it hit just right. I was beginning to have my ideas about this space fortress, but I was keeping them to myself for now.
I sat down in the captain’s chair and immediately felt empowered. I laughed out loud, which brought a lot of looks from the technicians on the bridge. I ignored them and sat there a little gloomy. Not only could I not gain access to the captain’s room, but the captain’s chair’s main computer won’t let me in it either. No matter how many times I have tried to access the computer attached to the chair I keep getting the same damn denial message. It was like it was mocking me or something.
I swear I could hear the ArchAngel giggle every time I got pissed at the messages. If it wasn’t for the fact that when we first talked to it and found out it was a normal computer system, I would think it was an advanced A.I. or something. I shook my head and walked over to a normal computer. I accessed the computer screen and checked out some of the status of the ArchAngel. I smiled when I saw that everything was pretty much okay except for the power situation and the weapons being offline. I looked out the bridge window at Chiron and wondered when I would get to go home.
*Chiron’s Palace – Vitamor’s POV*
“Achoo!” I sneezed out of nowhere and wondered if someone was talking about me. I shrugged and kept staring at the book in front of me. I had gotten a few more magic books from the library and had learned a couple new spells. They were [Ice Wall], [Fire Wall], [Earth Wall], and [Wind Wall]. The book in front of me was actually just a normal book about the history of Chiron and some other information though. I looked up from the book and finally opened the notifications that came with the spells.
Congratulations! You have learned [Ice Wall]!
[Ice Wall] – Creates a wall of ice where the caster wants it.
Congratulations! You have learned [Fire Wall]!
[Fire Wall] – Creates a wall of fire around the caster.
Congratulations! You have learned [Earth Wall]!
[Earth Wall] – Creates a wall of earth where the caster wants it.
Congratulations! You have learned [Wind Wall]!
[Wind Wall] – Creates a wall of wind where the caster wants it.
The spells weren’t as good as my mana shield, but I really didn’t want to use it all the time. Sure it was strong, but it was honestly a little overpowered in some aspects and if I wanted to spar with my companions I needed something weaker. I wouldn’t be able to show them their growth if I just kept canceling out everything they did. An alarm went off in the room and I looked at the holographic computer on my desk.
The time was five thirty in the evening and there was another hour and a half before I was to be enslaved… I mean married. I sighed and then smiled when I thought of the three beautiful women that would soon be my wives. I thought back to the first time I met Zellfina. She was sitting on her throne, so regal and stunning. I can remember how I almost shit myself when her voice shook the ArchAngel. I thought about our first night together and also our time on the continent.
I know we have only known each other for a few months, but it feels like a life time. I laughed when I thought of the shy Camellia. She was a stunning woman yet she has never been with a man in any way at all. The closest contact with a male she has had was when she was taking a nap on my chest in the back courtyard. The thought of it made me smile, but if Camellia thought of it she was sure to be embarrassed.
When I thought of Dani there were so many memories that it would take me forever to tell them. I could fill around five books on just our moments together if I was to write them down. I sighed when I thought of the sad times we had together, but I was happy that the good times outnumbered the bad. I pricked my thumb and then dropped some blood on the scanner connected to the computer. I made a few keystrokes on the keyboard and an image of Dani from earth popped up. I had been told about the things this computer could do from Kira and I decided to put it to the test just now.
She was right when she said the scanner could search a person’s memories from their brain. There wasn’t a technology to search the soul’s memories yet, but they were trying to develop it. I played some of the memories that I had of Dani. It was like watching a movie from my point of view.
I could see the time that we went to the park together during high school and she wanted me to push her on the swing. I laughed and called her a little kid, but I still did as she asked. The laugh and smile she showed me back then was brilliant. It made a little bit of the darkness in my heart at the time leave. I smiled and then flipped through a few more memories before I stumbled upon one that I never wanted to think about again.
It was during my seventh grade year. I had just moved back in with my parents. They moved out of town during my sixth grade year, but I wanted to finish in the same school so they let me stay with my grandparents. The town we moved to was full of rich kids, due to the massive lake that we were near. It was the second largest lake in Oklahoma with houses ranging anywhere from fifty thousand to a couple of million.
It was November and I had just gotten comfortable with school and I was talking to Dani on the phone right before I left the school. She had to stay behind in my hometown so the only way I could talk to her was over the phone. When I got done talking to her a girl walked up to me. It was the girl that I had a crush on in my third hour class. She walked up to me with a dazzling smile.
I smiled at her, “Hey.” She smiled brighter and spoke, “Hi. I was wondering if you would like to come over to my house and study with me and my friends.” I was ecstatic at the time and just nodded my head. She beamed another smile at me before giving me her address and the time. I was so happy that when I got home I couldn’t even sit still. At the given time I had my mom drop me off at her house. I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell, however to this day I wish I never touched it.
It wasn’t just a few more seconds when she opened the door. She stood there with a smile that looked beautiful; it was as if an angel was smiling at me. Now that I am older I can see the devil hidden behind that smile. I clenched my fist and continued to watch the memory. I walked into the house and followed her to the front room. There were a couple of guys from the football team and they were all looking at their school books intently. This sight is what first raised my suspicions, but her smile made them go away.
I asked where her parents where and she said they had to work until real late. I smiled at the thought of possibly being alone with her. Granted there were some other guys here, but I could zone them out pretty easily. She sat down on the couch and patted the cushion beside her. I smiled and then sat down where she indicated.

We all studied for about thirty minutes before she said she was going to fetch some drinks. I was honestly having a blast; even the guys from the football team were cool. I watched her graceful and beautiful figure go into the kitchen. As soon as she left the guys from the football team all closed their books and sneered at me. My suspicions from earlier came back and I found out they were spot on. Hardly any football player I have ever met would study so much, not without being forced to.
I got up from the chair, grabbed my bag, and headed for the door. Before I could make it to the door though, I was stopped by some more football players that came from the kitchen. I looked behind them and saw her standing there with a sneer on her face, “You thought that we could be friends or something? I am from a completely different world than you. I will be driving a Porsche or a Lamborghini, while you will be stuck with your mom’s Malibu.”
I looked at her with a small tear coming down my eye, “Why would you do this for?” She laughed before glaring at me, “At first it was to let you know your place in society, but now it is just because I can.” I clenched my fist and cursed at her. The football player in front of me pushed me back into the room causing me to fall over the table. Before I knew it punches and kicks were raining down on me.
I screamed out in pain which caused one of the players to laugh, “Yes scream in pain. The miss is paying us quite a bit to get you to stop staring at her in class.” I clenched my teeth and started to fight back. I landed a few hits on a couple of them, but I was soon drowned in kicks and punches again. After a while, I was left alone and lying on the ground in pain. I groaned some and I then noticed that one of the players was starting to unbutton his pants. He sneered at me, “You look so juicy and delicious lying there on the ground like that. Let’s have some fun before you leave.”
I cringed at the thought of what was about to happen, but I no longer had the energy or will to move. The she-devil laughed, “After you are done with him how about we make a trip to his home town and have some fun with the friend he is always talking to.” My eyes widened and I managed to weakly speak, “No.” She sneered at me, “Now we are definitely going to.”
I felt something in my heart snap and at the time I lost consciousness, but watching the memories through the computer I could see everything that happened. I always wondered what exactly happened that night. I could see myself laughing like a maniac. The she-devil looked at me with a grin on her face, “I guess he finally snapped huh?” She looked over at the half naked football player, “Hurry up and get done with it so I can throw him out of here.” He smiled at her and walked towards me.
I saw that when he got closer I stopped laughing and glared at him. This caused the player to grin, “Oh, yes look at me like that. It excites me even more.” What happened next I never would have believed before meeting Chronos. I saw myself reach out and grab the guy’s dick; he seemed to get more excited. Unfortunately for him though, what happened next probably ruined him. My arm moved and the football player screamed out in pain.
He fell backwards on the ground holding his private area while screaming. One of the players ran over to check on him. When he moved the guy’s hands he went pale. I saw that with the movement of my arm I had snapped his dick in half. It may be nothing but muscle and cartilage, but you can break it when it is erect. That wasn’t the worst part though. The area right below his penis was bloody and unrecognizable.
The other football players looked at me with anger in their eyes, but when they saw what was in my hands they were frightened. In my hands were a set of testicles which had come from the guy on the ground crying. I sneered at the players and then crushed them in my hands. I was staring at the hologram in shock. How did I have the strength to do that back then? The strength actually needed to crush a man’s balls is more than most people can get in their grip.
I always wondered why my strength had risen to way above normal for my size back then. It happened after this moment and I couldn’t figure out why. Did I tap into something that was inside of me for strength and it just stayed with me? I pushed the thought to the back of my head and continued watching. I saw myself stand up and wipe the remnants of the player’s balls on the couch. I could see the she-devil in the back of the group shivering.
I grinned at her, “Why don’t you wait right there for me.” The voice that came out of me was deep and almost sounded demonic. The she-devil fell on her butt and pissed herself. I laughed and made my move on the seven players left standing. It was over in less than a minute. If I counted it was probably around thirty to forty-five seconds.
After I had got done attacking them most of the players had passed out from the pain, while a couple of them were rolling on the ground holding their arm or leg. It depended on which one I broke. I walked over to the she-devil sitting on the ground. I squatted down in front of her and grabbed her by the hair. She was begging me not to do anything. For some reason I didn’t do anything, but I did leave her with some parting words.
I stared right into her eyes, “Don’t ever thing that because you have money or your parents have money that your are the best. There will always be people better than you at something. Those people that have no money now, may grow up to own your parents company. Those that you bully and humiliate may grow up to kill you and your family. Those that are less fortunate than you will always be stronger than you in one way or another.”
I got really close to her face and said one last thing, “When we all die, the casket and hole will be exactly the same size. The only difference will be the amount of money that can be spent on the decorations of the grave or coffin. In the end though, the exact same thing will be in every coffin; a dead human being, nothing more, nothing less. I let go of her head and kicked her door off its hinges and into the yard. I left her crying on the floor as I walked home.
When I got home my parents were asleep and my baby sister was lying in her crib next to them. I walked up to them and I could see myself smiling, but this time the smile wasn’t evil looking. It was a smile of concern and love. I saw myself reached down and gently rubbed my sister’s head before I went back to my room and collapsed in the bed.
I couldn’t remember a thing when I woke up the next day. I honestly thought that I had gotten molested by the football player and they dumped me off at my home afterwards. I holed myself up in my room for two weeks before I went back to school. When I got to the school cafeteria for breakfast I was shocked at what I saw.
The she-devil and her posse of football players, minus one, were sitting at the same table, but that isn’t what shocked me. What shocked me was their expressions of fear on their faces and the broken arms and legs that some of them had. I looked down at the ground and got my food. I quickly ate and then left the cafeteria.
I sighed before closing down the memory. I started to walk towards the door, when I saw Dani standing in the doorway. She had a hand over her mouth and was crying. I felt my heart hurt at the sight, “Since when?” She moved her hand and spoke, “Since you started looking at them.” I sighed and looked at her with complicated feelings. She looked at me with a complicated expression, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
I looked away from her, “I didn’t want you to worry or think less of me.” She got mad and stomped over to me. I looked back at her just in time to receive a slap to my face. Due to my Immortal Power Rank it didn’t hurt me much physically, but it felt like a direct slap to my heart.
I looked up and saw the tears streaming down her face even faster. She sniffled a little while talking, “Don’t you ever hide anything from me again! I am your best friend and soon to be your wife! As best friends we are supposed to be there for each other, even more so as husband and wife.” I didn’t know what to say so I just looked down at the ground. A few seconds later I was in her embrace.
I stiffened up and then looked at her; she was staring at me and had her hand on my face. She was still crying, but she had a smile on her face, “From now on you are to tell me or any of your other wives if something is bothering you, okay? We are here for you and we always will be. You don’t always have to carry everything on your shoulders. I am tired of looking at your back and seeing nothing but loneliness. You are no longer alone Justin! You have people that love you. You have people that will do anything for you.”
I looked down at her face and saw her beaming a smile at me and I just lost all strength in my legs. She fell down on the ground with me and just held me while I cried. It had been so long since I had let a tear stroll down my face. Ever since that night I had been holding everything in. Happiness, sadness, love, along with many other emotions. The only true emotion I would usually show was anger. Other than that everything was an act. I was able to fool everybody around me including Dani.
I no longer had to hold everything in or shoulder everything on my own. My parents may have loved me, but there were many things I could not confide in them. I didn’t want Dani to worry and I wanted her to be happy, so I just bottled it all up. There were a few times that I was on the verge of exploding, but Dani was usually there to calm me down. She had always been there for me.
She was the light in the darkness of my heart back then. Now there are many lights in my heart chasing away the darkness. It was all thanks to Chronos. She had given me a fresh start and allowed me to find my place. I belong with those that I love and those that love me. I am supposed to protect them, but they are supposed to protect me as well.
No one is strong enough to handle every situation alone. Sometimes you have to count on those closest to you. There is always someone or something more powerful than we are, but if we stand together our power multiplies. I wasn’t wailing or screaming like a child, but I was just sitting in her arms in silence while the tears streamed down my face.
After a while I wiped my tears away and stood up. I helped Dani up and smiled at her, “You should hurry along, you have a wedding to prepare for.” She smiled at me, but I could see the concern in that smile. I laughed, “Don’t worry I am okay now.” I looked out the window before speaking again, “I think I needed that. I feel… lighter. It’s like a weight has been taken off my heart and mind. Everything looks more colorful than before.” I turned and smiled at her.
*Dani’s POV*
He turned back and beamed a smile at me. It honestly took my breath away. I haven’t seen him smile like that in many years. It was a wonderful and welcome sight to behold. I smiled back at him before I left him in his study. I headed towards the room down the hall, where Zellfina and Camellia where getting ready.
They both smiled at me when I walked in, but when they saw my tear stained face they immediately rushed me. They were both asking me if I was okay and I nodded my head. I told them what I saw in his study and they both had tears running down their face when I was finished. Zellfina was pissed and punched the wall, “Those animals! If I ever go to Earth and see them, I will rip their hearts out!” Camellia nodded her head at her mother’s words. I smiled at them and then we proceeded to get ready for our wedding.
*Vitamor’s POV*
I watched Dani leave the office and I continued to smile. I honestly felt better now that I was able to release everything. I had been holding everything in for way too long. It can be emotionally bad and possibly physically bad to hold things in. I had been enduring though, because I thought it would be best for everyone if nobody knew anything.
I sighed, “I am sorry everyone. I didn’t want everyone to worry.” I looked back out the window towards the continent and then aimed my view to the sky. I sighed again, “I must get stronger. I don’t want anything to happen to them. Dani, Zellfina, Camellia, Sylvia, Chronos. I don’t want to lose anyone that I love.”
I was embraced from behind. I was shocked for a second, but I felt a furry tail wrap around my waist. I returned to normal when I heard her voice, “You won’t lose us love. We are here for you, just like you have been here for us. We all love you and won’t leave you, no matter the marital status.”
I turned around in her embrace and I saw the furry ears and beautiful face of Sylvia. I smiled at her, “I know and I want to keep it that way, but don’t worry. You will be my wife one day.” She smiled up at me and then moved in towards me with her eyes closed. I leaned down and connected my lips with hers.
