Some security guards upon seeing the cable and an unknown figure sliding across to the building began to storm to the top of the building, all while Nova sat comfortably in his office.
In the chaos of storming to the top of the building, there was a shot fired on the lower floors below the entourage of men.
Nakita was over a thousand meters away when the first shot was fired. The signal bullet whizzed through the air until it effortlessly pierced the glass of the building.
The bullet entered the temple of the first security, his eyes rolled to the back of his head as blood sprayed within the office. The people within the office screamed horribly as they were doused in blood, they ran towards the exits filled with the horror of seeing his body drop to the ground lifelessly.
Dante at the front door stood perfectly still with his sword in hand as the screaming people ran to exit the building.
Nakita fired, and as she fired more guards fell without knowing they were dead.
Dante continued to walk effortlessly through the hallways as he made his way to the target that was at the center of this towering death trap.
Finally some of the security guards that had forsaken chasing after Riku, now ran into this scarf-wearing, sword-wielding teen.
It was five security guards standing with their guns pointed at Dante, these armed security didn't waste a second to shoot at the teen.
They fired, and in that same second their bullets clashed with flat, small black daggers from Dante’s pouch. As the bullet and throwing daggers clashed they made a thin layer of smoke in front of the firing squad.
But by the time the smoke had cleared the enemy they had been shooting at in front of them had suddenly disappeared.
It was only the man on the farthest end of the line of men that knew he had died, when he glimpsed behind him and saw this shadowy figure, his sword at this point was only a streak of light cutting through his partner’s neck beside him.
It was more like a line of water sprinklers turning on one by one as the blood sprayed from each security guards neck, their hand guns fell one after the other, him at the end of the chain tried to scream as the sword sliced threw his jugular artery but with the his lungs and head separated this scream euphemized into a whimper.
Now lying on the floor behind him as he casually walked layed five decapitated guards still spraying blood and wriggling as their muscles contract and relax upon such a swift death.
Riku walked down a narrow winding stairway as he entered the building from the rooftop,
he had barely entered a couple of seconds before he heard the first shot fired, while Riku was mildly in thought the hand railing beside him gashed as the first bullet went whizzing past Riku’s overextending hair strands.
God damned it! Those bastards didn’t tell me I’d be walking into a death trap; they said I was just playing back up if anything went wrong! Now I’m being shot at by freaking professionals, I am so killing them when we get back!
Being halted by gunfire, Riku slowed his descent down the stairs to a crawl.,

Riku finally got annoyed at the barrage of bullets being shot at him, gripped his pistols tight, leaned tighter to the wall furthest from the firing zone, and took out ten rounds of ammo from three magazines on his pouch.
First over the railing were the three empty magazines, this delayed the gunfire by a few seconds as the slightly confused guards took a few seconds to recognize what was now hurling towards them.
But falling behind the magazines was over twenty 9 millimeter bullets. They sparkled slightly with their gold exteriors.
As they stalled in the air Riku took sharp aim and fired at the falling ammunition. He connected his shots directly with the falling bullets, each connection created a small explosion.
The guards below covered their eyes for a few seconds as the spent shells fell smoking before them. Unmoved by this rash act the firing squad continued firing at the same location once more.
It was to their surprise and death when Rikus head popped out one floor lower as he finally returned fire, only six guards were shooting, and before they could make full eye contact with Riku each of their brains was firmly pasted on the stairway’s wall behind them as their bodies fell.
“The target is at the center of the building, floor fifty-two to be precise, waiting behind you! Two armed men, coming from the bathroom!”
Jose in his element directed Riku as he walked through the floors of the building dropping body after body.
“Wait! There are over fifteen guards in that room waiting behind the door!”
Dante smirked as he halted at the door because of José’s report.
By now the security guards that were almost casually walking around the building had gone on high alert. After hearing tens of shots being fired at all floors at the building, they began to congregate closer to the fifty-second floor since that was the safest place near to the boss.
Riku was the first to encounter the real guard dogs of the organization. after shooting his way through the last thirteen floors, and now five floors away from the target he encountered a group of men.
They were fully armored in bullet resistance helmets, body armor and had far more superior firepower, they were boasting M16 rifles, military-grade. They even had night vision goggles just to show that they were well equipped and based on how tactically they moved they were military or paramilitary trained.
Riku crossed their path within a series of cubicles on floor fifty-seven.
Riku walked through this series of cubicles until shadows started shifting behind him, it was in the nick of time that he had jumped into the cubicle to his left.\
Thunderous rifle shots whistled missing Riku by nanometres as he flew into the cubicle and returned fire. The cubicles were made of dry wood, and could not slow down a rifle's bullet; it only offered visible hindrance.
The specialist security guards closed in closer to the same cubicle Riku had just flown into.
To their surprise however the wall had a giant hole in it that seemed to have been made by bullet holes connecting to make a weak spot to force through.
The guard poked his head through the hole made by Rikus narrow escape, and before he could look left or right Riku fired two rounds from across the connecting passageway. The bullets connected but were proven useless to the defensive capabilities of the guard’s bullet-resistant helmet.
Shit! Bulletproof helmets, and body Armour now this is going to be a hassle.
Riku thought as he had to dash from another round of fire being poured at him as the other special guards closed in on him.
Riku was pinned down behind a large vault. It was the only thing in the office and cubicles that could hold off such strong firepower, but the guards were closing in nonetheless. They formed a straight line of three, pouring fire on Riku.
The man at the front fired as the line moved closer towards Rikus location, when he was low on ammo he would peel off and re-joined the line while the next man in the line continued fire allowing them to fire non stop until they made it to Rikus location.
Riku pinned behind the safe with the glass window behind him and the enemy closing in with no means of escape began to sweat and prayed as death crept up.
He could feel the grip of the grim reaper closing in and reaching for him.
Riku closed his eyes, ready to accept his death.
When Riku looked up, he was looking into the barrel of an M16A4 rifle when he heard one final shot; it was louder and more ferocious than any shot he had heard before. Riku’s eyes were shut tight and he did not know death had come to visit.
